I’m fifteen years old and currently working on my own antique automotive collectibles and oil and gas collectibles. I hope that when I’m this gentleman’s age I can have a glorious collection like this
thank you for the nice comment on my uncles buisness and im proud to announce that he is still running his shop!! i go there everyday after school to help out with his work
Is he still in business? He should really set something up on the Internet or at least an eBay Store. There's a big market for classic parts. People pay big bucks even for used parts...
Hannah MonroeVanity, is is he still alive and active? Do your family have plans to keep his store open? Please don't forget think I'm prying or anything. It was just nice, great story they told and working in some facet of the automotive industry my entire life, it's just intriguing. May God poor out blessings upon you and your family, in abundance!!!!!!!
According to YP commenter Wayne 2/17/19: "Antique Auto Supply has closed down. Stacy sold the business to a father and son from California thinking they were going to keep the store open. They bought the place to flip it. They sold the inventory to a guy from Indiana. That's where all the parts are now."
This man needs to invest in getting an INTERNET SITE, and start shipping parts for classic cars ALL OVER THE WORLD... Buyers pay for S/H and insurance of course
This was cool! My first car was an antique so I fell in love with classics very early on. On my 16th b-day I got a 1961 Chevy Apache10 Pick-up Truck. Equipped with wood planks as the bed and turn signals mounted into the big bubble hood. Several years later after moving to N.C. I got a 1962 Ford Falcon Station Wagon. It had a factory auto trans and electric back window. A lot of windows and chrome, and a large shiny chrome luggage rack. The bench seats were the most comfortable I've ever sat in.
The man is good as gold!!! I've been in there several times. Tail light lenses for a 59 Rambler,GOT'EM!! Tailgate handle for a 57 Dodge station wagon,GOT IT!! Vent window lock for a 41 Chevy,GOT IT!! Good prices too!!
Richard Harrold we say his voice has a southern Twang to it.We have different dialects in different parts of the country. I love the way the British speak also sometimes it is so thick i also can't understand it, not to often,,especially cockney.Have a nice weekend my man.
This guy's fricken amazin', yall. Real old-school southern gent, y'all. Being a modern Brit, I have trouble understanding more thickly spoken Americans sometimes...
I like the fact he is worried about one of us needing a part that may have otherwise been thrown away, he has done us car guys a service. I'm sure buying all that stuff wasn't cheap and then it has to wait on a buyer.
I thought for the longest time I had one of the largest inventories, I was wrong. I wonder if he would sell it all. I am setting up a searchable parts identifier to help find out what parts fit which cars.
