1989 ENGL Straight 50W Spezial Combo, the German JCM-800 in Steroids

Just a short demo of my 1989 ENGL Straight 50W Special Combo
at first with internal Celestion G12-35L Speaker and in the end with an external Mesa Boogie 1x12 Thiele Cabinet with stock EV12L speaker.

Used to have it, still regret selling it. Especially the clean channel with reverb was amazing to me!

You made it sound nice! I moved to Germany recently and there’s lots of them for sale near me, thinking about picking one up. Think it would work for a grab and go any-genre rig?

I have one of these but the switches on the clean channel barely make any difference. Do I need to crank the volume to get them to do anything?
