During the second day of my three stay visit to Budapest I decided to make a stop at another official viewing hill, this one overlooks the threshold for Runway 13R however due to westerly winds 31L was in use for departures.
I stayed here for about 2 hours and within that time saw a decent variety of movements leaving Budapest. 2 of which were widebodies - A LOT B787 Dreamliner and an Emirates B777-300(ER)
In addition this video also features: Wizz Air A320's & A321 NEO's, Ryanair 737-800's, Turkish Airlines 737-800, LOT Embraer E175, Egyptair A220-300, Helvetic's brand new E190-E2, British Airways A320, El Al 737-800 and many more

Great plane spotting Casey. This spot that you spotted from remind me of when you did the heavies at Heathrow the other day you caught the planes just as they take off. Very well done Casey.

@Turkish 737- I hate it when the pilots wreck a great shot by leaving their gear down.
Do you think they forgot about it? Lol
Looks like they did, huh? They would have a lot of explaining to do when they’d need to refuel halfway through their trip. The extra drag caused by keeping those gear down, would burn up their fuel real fast.
when you are at gatwick why do you only spot on 08R and not just 26L?
You can't really spot as well from 08R compared to 26L

Awesome video mate! Did you hear the news? Hainan will start operating a 787-9 next week from Chongqing and Shanghai Airlines already operates a 787-9 to Shanghai. Next week Shanghai Airlines will start operating two additional routes to Budapest from Chengdu and from Xi an! :)
And more asian routes coming in January by China Eastern
