I tried your method but just seasoned it with whatever I had and added some fresh herbs. I also served it with steamed veg. This was so good! Also if it helps anyone, 425⁰f is 220⁰c (200⁰c in a fan oven)
Made this 10 days ago. It was the best meal I've had in a while, (and we eat good) Less than a week later I had to make it again. Both times we made enough for two days. I get a lot of recipes off youtube, but this is one of those 1 in 100 best keepers.
I made this recipe 2 times this week and absolutely amazing!! I never knew you could cook with the foil wrapped method. The butter on top made every bite of this so delicious. Thank you so much !
You recipes always taste so good! 3 of your recipes now a staple in our house. Are these all your own recipes? Everyone try at least one of her dishes, the flavours are just Devine!
OMG, this looks AMAZING. I’ll try this out this weekend for Father’s Day. My family LOVES steak. I’ll try it with filet mignonette. Great idea. Thank you so much for sharing.❤️
Yummy!!! I would eat from the foil right out of the oven too Claudia!! The steak looked juicy and delicious! I will definitely try this recipe! 😋 😋 😋 ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️
Made this yesterday and it was absolutely amazing!! I will make them again this weekend, we try not to eat too much meat lol so veggies and fish today, and will make this recipe again this weekend
Absolutely delicious!!! I only had a blade roast so I used enough of it to make some lovely chunks for this and slow cooked the rest for a different dish. Was not expecting it to be so tender but wow. Thank you for sharing this one it's super yummy & easy! :) I could even make this one in the cast iron oven while camping.
I finally got everything to make this recipe. I'd like to add shrimp to this, would suggest cooking them in the foil as well or should I cook separately?
I've made this using lamb and without the potatoes, the lamb was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. I think I used butter, salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary and thyme though it's been a long time and can't remember for sure. I slow cooked it on the gas BBQ, use butcher's paper, or one that is butcher's paper on one side and foil on the other, you don't want the aluminium to overheat, it isn't healthy.
This brings back memories. When I was a boyscout we did these regularly. But instead of steak ( very nice touch young lady) we simply used hamburger. It was a "budget" thing. As to how we cooked them very simple. Build a Campfire, place what we called a " hobo dinner" in the coals on the side of the Campfire for about 45 minutes to a hour turning the foil pack occasionally. Pull them out and yuppers, eat right out of the foil. FYI, the heat from a car engine is enough to also cook these. Just place on the manifold where it won't come loose and one hour pull over and enjoy dinner. Yes, fond memories indeed. Have a great day. 🌞
Claudia, I love your recipes, make your white cake every year for my Bday. Did you know that this foil baked potato recipe is the first thing people see when clicking your channel? My community of health nuts would turn instantly at foil, and thus not get to experience your channel. Just a suggestion to move it.
Holy crap was about to cook some Lobster but I mean honestly I'm going to hopefully at least get away with making one steak with some potatoes like this. That is amazing looking. I want to live inside of that
@@CookingWithClaudia0831 I apologize because it's so loud where I'm at right now. I didn't get where the recipe is at is it in the description? I probably should check before I ask

This looks so good Claudia but do we have to separate them ? Couldn’t we cook them on one big baking pan❤
Of course
Could you imagine wiping those juices up with a dinner roll or a piece of garlic bread. Yum
I love how you break the videos apart by step
I don't have all the seasonings, just cumin and Italian seasoning but I'm going to make it anyway! 😍
Hi Claudia. I'm watching this and Wow. This looks so good and mouth watering. 😋😋😋
Oh wow! Looks delicious 😋! I love foil packs!! Especially Cajun Salmon!

It was! Thanks :)
Just made this for lunch. It’s very good. But next time I’ll cut the tbs of Italian seasoning in half. It was a little strong imo.

Omg this is scrumptious 😋 can use garlic butter instead of the garlic and butter?
yes you can. i don't know how much garlic is in garlic butter tho so u might need extra garlic
Italian seasoning , parsley , paprika, salt , black pepper, olive oil/ the reccomended pre boil was too long for mine the potatos are soft

Can I use pork tenderloins ? I don’t have steak right now.
Can you use any type steak?
That’s enough for me to test
I know how to cook though don't enjoy it or have time for it much. Thanks to you though I have become a much better cook

Try a cast iron pan net time, heating foil makes it toxic.
