Is it possible to install the box without using the plastic tailgate trim piece/cover?
If I recall (its been a couple of years), I think you can since it uses spacers behind it, it doesn't touch the trim piece.
So expensive 😔
$300 for a locking metal case didn't seem that bad to me.
Get all the life you can out of that old dwalt lol
