Update after Bicolline, and Hynafol (another LARP I documented on my channel!). I honestly had no complaints about my packing so I'd say it's a fairly good guide! I also filmed a Hynafol packing video which is 4 full days instead of 7 so you can also check that out for another approach for LARP packing!
Your floor length outfits look great! My advice for a new larper is, I would recommend shortening any floor length layers to ankle height to avoid any dragging in the mud when wandering about at larps! (if you have the time.) Learn from my mistakes. Enjoy your larp adventure!
Love it! Can't wait to see you at Bico! Just be careful, "je suis excité", while grammatically correct, has sexual connotations in spoken french. It would be better to use it as a opening statement like "I am excited to/for..." Or just say "j'ai hâte" for being unable to wait for something. I made this mistake with my French teacher in uni and she was quite taken aback 😂 Happy larping! Look out for a guitar hobbit :3
Quite a few things you shared do not pertain to me as I don't wear make-up or dresses. But this was a very informative and useful video. Your staff idea is brilliant! I would love for all of us "nerds" to unite and begin wearing these types of clothing on a daily basis. I'll be attempting my first Bicolline in 2025 without a "tour" assist. My biggest hurdle I believe will be convincing my brother to go with me (driving from Texas). And attempting to make my own tent from canvas. Excellent video! You've done well!
I am so jelly that I’m PB&J. I am so excited for you 🤩 I hope Bicolline is so amazing and I hope to see you AT WAR since sometimes war videos come out 😂. Have funnn
Have you ever listened to dungeon synth music? Also oh my god, that Kievan rus overcoat is so amazing. I love Eastern Europe in terms of clothing, folktales, and overall vibes when it comes to fantasy and also history
Ahhh love that!! I haven’t played the first two but I’m bringing 9 men’s morris, liars dice, & bagh-chal. Sadly I didn’t have room for mancala which is one of my faves! Maybe I’ll make a video about my little medieval game kit I made when I return from Bicolline !
@@Incandescentkiki Bagh-chal sounds like so much fun! I would say the Royal Game of Ur is similar to Mancala in that you get to roll again if you land on a lotus flower. I've also been trying to learn Brandubh, Hnefatafl, or Fidchell after reading about it in Maggie Stiefvater's Bravely
love knowing what people pack!! also bahah make sure not to say „je suis excite“ it means horny, not excited 😭 je suis ravi(e) are the words she was looking for :3
I'm a 62-year-old woman who's always been fascinated with this kind of stuff how much you spent on your outfit and if the wool was itchy ? I'm living my best life watching you all it's great❤❤❤❤ you can always wear the jacket over a turtleneck a nice skirt a good pair of boots you be warm you look good too😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much! I personally don’t mind wool too much on my upper body! It tends to icy and bother me most on my legs, but it’s really comfortable and kept me so warm at night! 💕 thanks for the comment ☺️

Hahahahahaha we were laughing about this after we filmed that. We have now switched to “je suis impatient” 😂
I'm 4'11... I think I'll have to get all my clothes hemmed beforehand also currently no soaps or washing products in the river at all now!

I love ur makeup sm! ^ ^ the colors contrast and make your eyes pop.
If you pass by Montreal you should definitely stop at a store called Dracolite! 100% medieval shop, with clothes, etc. Worth a look
They actually have a building and shop in the duché !
@@deadtotheworld00 yes, I forgot about it when writing my comment!!

Would love a post-event update! I’m starting my planning for next year.
I have a full video on my channel !! 💕 it’s all about my experience☺️ hope it’s helpful!
this makes me nostalgic for when i used to go to pennsic for a week every summer
A long Kiki video? COUNT ME IN
I watched your Colorado Ren Fair video before going but I literally saw you at Bico and didn't recognize you. 😅
Hope you had a great Bico!
If you see me again definitely say hello 🥹🥹🥹
I'd love to see a video on medieval games! I'm sending my penpals the Royal Game of Ur, Senet, and 12-Man Morris!

When I watch videos and I hear a cat meowing I can’t tell if it’s my cat or in the video.

how many sets of each clothing did you bring?
I think I had 4 dresses, 2 pairs of pants, 2 or 3 shirts, and then a coat & cloak! Lots of socks lol
I can't wait to randomly meet you one day

😂😂
Do you think they would allow someone to bring their RV if it was styled like a medieval one?
As long as you’re not on the grounds, you can camp nearby and walk into the grounds probably! But no cars allowed inside at all
@@Incandescentkiki thanks!!
Damn I saw you at Bico, didn't know you were a content creator, la compagnie des dix te saluent!
Hey.. Pssst... the drinking age in quebec is 18 ;)
Why don't folks 'magic ' up the flashlights? - tis larp after all, not historical reenactment - could be a fun project ...even sell them ...
