At the time of recording of this video, I did not have info on all the specs of the TFight 300 That’s why I could not give you the RA, for example, but now that it’s out here are the specs: Specifications: Head Size: 100 in² Length: 27in Unstrung Weight: 300 Strung Weight: 318g Strung Balance: 4 pts HL Swingweight: 318 Stiffness: 65 Beam Width: 22.5mm / 22.5mm / 22.5mm Composition: Graphite String Pattern: 16/19 The big change from the last TFight is the reduced SW and increased maneuverability, and I definitely felt that during the playtest. It's a good all-around racquet!!
@@plutone220696 for this tfight it's the same as the previous model, just overall Tecnifibre wanted to make the heavier versions a bit easier to maneuver. Especially the 305 that had a beafy stock swingweight and head-heavy balance. This 300 gram TFight has ezcellnet tweener specs on paper.
I slowly start to get it. The two racquets that you had the best words about so far are the Solinco Whiteout and the Tfight. And to make it simple: a racquet that wants to replace your old white painted Pure Drive has to be: white!
Nik, thanks to your test racket series, I'm also going to my local clubs and demoing but honestly I'm waiting for you to hurry and finish your final test video because there's a good chance I'll pick the same racket you choose assuming it feels good for me as well.
Much appreciated thank you. I got one more test before the final decision. So the next video will have 6 or 7 racquets (prob 2 parts). I have no clue what I will choose, the final play test will be very comprehensive. I’m guessing I can wrap this up after the Australian Open.
So far, I see you played the best 2-handed backhands with the Dunlop FX500 light, the Diadem Nova 300 and this Tecnifibre TFight 300. But I got to say, your forehand seems DYNAMITE with the TFight 300.
Looks like you played really really well with this one. Shame there weren't too many longer rallies so you could get a more comprehensive feel for the frame but from this clip, it looks like it works very well for you.
Noticed the legs looked a bit unstable… wonder if you’ll find that 1-2% more on the serve when you’re not worried about your knee hurting/giving out? As a fellow knee pain sufferer trying to play when you are worried about loading on one leg is so hard because you don’t trust anything. Enjoying the series can’t wait to see what other rackets make the final.
@@aevans1979 thank you. Landing on the left leg doesn't hurt. It's lateral movement to the left. I've been scared to move that way for the last 10 years, especially when it hurts. But doctor suggested to avoid surgery if I can and I've been trying to do that.
@ I have the same thing. Tore my MCL playing football in college and knee hurts now and then. I wear a knee brace when it is sore and hope for the best. That’s all we can do when we get older, and yes avoid surgery for as long as you can!!!
Love your videos & watching you progress through your new racquet search. I’m currently demoing racquets trying to decide if I’m going to switch for the spring season. The new TFight & Solinco Whiteout are two that I’m considering too. This new TFight 100 seems like a solid all around racquet. I like the idea of a 22.5 beam in a 100”” frame. Are you going to get a chance to hit the V2 Whiteout?
Fun trying to guess what you will pick. We know the TFight and Solinco Whiteout STD are in. Percept, Shift, RF 01 Future in the running according to one update. Seems like Dunlop FX 500 LS will be there too. Will the mystery racket of part 14 make the cut? Find out on the next episode of Finding a New Racquet!
I would be curious to have Milan's thoughts. He has played you with all(?) of the racquets in contention. It would be interesting to hear what he thinks before the final play test!
@@IntuitiveTennis What about your natural variability? We obviously are not robots, so our strokes might not be ideal on any given day, and that isn't the "racket's fault". The tough part about changing rackets to me is that it takes time to really get confident with it. Personally I'm playing with the TFight 305, but the SW is a little bit too high. Eyeing the new TFight 305 or the new Ezone 98.
Another Great video! As I am using the same string due to your recomendation, thanks by the way, I would like to know what string tension did you go for on this play test?
You played very well with this new TFight. I believe you may favor the 300g 98 a little more. So far it's this and the Soljnco Whiteout you played best with.
Hi Nick! Following your videos since I started playing around a year and half. While searching/testing rackets, how do you tell apart what your getting from the racket/strings? I don't think your using the same strings/tension for all. I guess it comes down to experience, you can tell apart. But a couple of days ago I was handled a Yonex with pattern 18x20 and really old strings, don't know the tension, and it felted really good... Meanwhile my first racket was an used Head Radical 18x20 but that one, no matter the string/tension, I felted horrible like a solid wood racket 😅 Love your content! 💪🎾

There are quite a few highly anticipated releases coming this month including the Ezone (98/100) ,Head Tour 98 16 X 19 and Babolat Pure Drive. Would you try to be willing to try those before making a final decision?
Nice playlets. Was it easy to adjust to the grip shape? Tecnifibre racquets traditionally w more rectangular grip than Wilson or Babolat (still octagonal but flattened)
I bet the last one will be Vcore or more Tecnifibre especially as Tecnifibre has XF series which is power and spin oriented. Also is Milan thinking of changing?
I get you need to narrow down your frames to scale this play test out but since you only have one more to go, would it have been so hard to also include the 98 300 and 305?
Keep up this amazing series, Nik. I hope you keep testing rackets for a long time. It makes you miserable, and you hate it, but it's awesome entertainment 😎
Interestingly I thought you looked the most like yourself with the racquet. I think for the final showdown you should make a playoff bracket pair up the racquets that are very similar to each other to narrow down.
@IntuitiveTennis sorry I should have added punctuation there. I meant make a playoff bracket, and pair up/face off the racquets that are similar to each other. Just a thought, happy new year!
Is there a reason you didn’t consider the 98? Not the 18x19 to be clear, but the 300 with the 16x19 pattern. Cause I feel that one might feel smoother on serve. Regardless hope you find a stick you’re happy with in the end
Solinco gives you easier feeling spin, helps you out more but you overhit easier. Tfight gives you more flat bombs and control. It is a matter of taste., they are close. On the serve today l think you served with great results but felt disconnected from what you put in because of the stiffness. I predict these two and a Dunlop Fx as most likely.
maybe it was one of those days on which serve didn't feel 100%? I bet on a different day it would feel okay. Maybe the swingweight was too low and your piece was underspec?
