Vedhala Ulagam, as the title indicates, is a world of demons where mortals are imprisoned by the demon king R. Balasubramaniam. Prince T.R Mahalingam goes to Vedhala Ulagam to save his dad. He agrees to 3 Challenges from the King to release his dad from Vedhala Ulagam. He goes to the level of sacrificing himself to save his dad during the 3rd Challenge. Goddess Kali saves him and he gets married with Mangalam.
