I just discovered you on UA-cam. I haven't picked up my guitar in 8 years. Watching you and listening to your style has motivated me again. So Thank you!!!
Oh wow this is so cool! 🎉😃 I hope that my lessons will get you back to strumming very quickly! You are most welcome, I am just thrilled to have inspired you 🎵🎸
Believe it or not I have struggled in the past with this simple John Denver song. Your approach made it so simple, I almost feel foolish that I have struggled. The biggest thing for me was a strumming pattern which you made so simple. Thank you for your love and dedication to music
Hi Dale 😃 that’s so lovely to hear, thank you for your kind words. I am thrilled to know that you can now play this classic on your guitar woo hoo!! 🎉🎸
You have the absolutely most didatic way of teaching! I cracked up when you started mixing the lyrics with the cords when singing😂. Thanks a lot for the tutorial!❤
Great lesson and awesome song. I find myself skipping right to the playthrough on some of your lessons. I'm able to play proficient and without checking fretboard which btw seemed like an insurmountable task. Thank you! You're making a Stellar guitar guy out of me. 😎💛🤯🙏💯
I myself am somewhat proficient at my chord changes , but I like to watch Amber's whole vid and see if there are any tips that get integrated in doing any song that she is presenting ....... Plus it helps her channel out with the minutes per view .
@@BobsYoureuncleI also noticed that my illiterate typing skullls was not conveying my point😏. She has got me up and playing so that I'm able to play by just checking chord progression. I've been a fan from Day 1! and am lucky to have come to find Amber. Done so much for me 🙏😎
❤❤❤ HI Amber, this happens to be one of my husband's favourite songs! A fantastic tutorial yet again with clear instructions and directions. So enjoyed listening to you singing it 😊❤
As per normal an awesome tutorial, thank you. I must let you know that I'm currently in CT, I rode here on my motor cycle heading back to Phallies on Tuesday. Should be home by the weekend. Staying with Dale. Pray you are well. Love and blessings.🇿🇦🇿🇦🤗🤗
Hey Schalk 😊 thanks so much for checking out my lesson 🎵 Have an amazing time with Dale and hope you get some lekker quality time with your boy. I just got back to Dubai - was in SA for 3 weeks with my folks. Was soooo special ❤️🙏
I love your your teaching styles, simple and easy to understand. Love your singing and wait for the end when you sing the whole song ,with such a beautiful smile. Your choice of songs are awesome. It’s motivating me to pick up my guitar and learn Thanks again 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏
Hi Mandy ❤️ that is such a touching story 🥹🙏 so cute! Music can absolutely bring back such lovely memories 💭 thanks for all your support and love on my channel!
Clothes, decorations with paisley patterns, and song are so much 60s I had to learn the song to help my flashback of getting on that plane to basic training and tiger land. Airborne!
Hi Allen! Yeah I get it- sometimes playing a song over and over can totally kill it for you hey 🙈🙈🙈 but sometimes you gotta give the people what they wanna hear! 😂
Hi, just wanted to share my own affirmation that you make a difference and I wanted to thank you so much. I have a humble little nack for this guitar. I picked up an ear for it and improved my dexterity. So I wanted instructions. Lessons were embarrassing on his part. I didn't want to hurt his feelings but canceled and that didn't work. Subscribed to many UA-camrs that always felt spotty and incomplete. Amber, every lesson you put out i am able to play that song with minimal practice. You are also the first person I came across that puts it all together in the end. Which was frustrating me that these artists would teach chords, intro's , rifs verses, but never put it all together like you do. So Thanks!! I knew I could do this and thanks to you I was right!!
What a lovely message! I am so glad my teaching and tutorials have made such a big difference to you on your guitar journey 🙏 🎸 nothing makes me happier! I hope you continue to watch my lessons and learn lots!
Wonderful! I love your lessions and your song selection! And i actually like this song in your version better than the original. Best regards from Germany.......🥰

Stella hope you’re enjoying your vacation. You deserve it. Will you learn Heaven from Warrant please? I can’t seem to figure out the strumming pattern of that beautiful song
Hi Lucas, oooohfff this is a very common thing that many guitarists struggle with. You are not alone! You need to work on getting your strumming arm on autopilot- which is step one. Then I’d suggest signing the song in your head, then humming it out loud. Then add words.. another thing you can do is play along with the original track to help keep you in time and to sing along with the singer. This gives you a sort of blueprint to follow if you feel your strumming and singing is beginning to go out of time. This singing/strumming issue is so specific to each individual. Maybe record yourself giving it a go and watch it back so you can truly see what needs attention. And lastly, working with a teacher for a 1:1 in person lesson (maybe just once or twice) could help. Good luck! 😃🎵🌟
Hi Shauna 😃 thanks so much for watching, I am so glad you enjoyed the tutorial 🙌 I am not familiar with the Richwood RW 25, if might be worth visiting a store that stocks that brand and having a look at what is on offer! Guitar shopping is such fun!
The Cadd9 chord is more harder to play than the Maj C, if you look at the illustration: you can see that your using a 4th finger, it's slightly a different sound as well. The standard C Chord or Maj C is much better for beginners because you have to press that 4 finger down harder onto the string, if not correctly pressed it sounds bad or like the guitar has a blamed buzz when in fact it's not pressed correctly. The C Chord uses 3 fingers, if you press them evenly behind each fret it sounds more natural, even if you make a mistake, the C Maj is more forgiven than a C add 9, think about that? It's almost the same with a G Maj chord, many artist use the extra pinky on the E because it enhances the G Maj.
