Is there anyway to get a confirmation on his real birth date. Lol cause I dont believe he was only 48 looking like that when he died. I thought he was well on in his 60s with the gray beard and all.
We loved them both so much because they we're so honest in everything they did. We will miss Mitchell very much and hope one day to see Glen again. Thank you to the people who have put this show on as it means alot to me. My daddy who long ago passed away was born in Miss. and grew up in La, I often wonder if his life was like theirs at times. Mitchell we will miss you, and Glenn hope to see more of you. :)
I lost my best friend in 85. We were inseparable, yes he was my brother. I miss and think of him every day. I truly understand the heart ache Glenn is going through and the pain it seems never really goes away. It took me 7 months to even begin to start the process of just trying to live again. My brother died what he loved doing as well, riding his Harley. When I ride it seems like Don is still rite there with me, watching over me. Glenn keep doing what you and your brother has always done.
I was very sad that Mitchell died, seemed like great guy A great pair of close brothers, I WILL go down there & visit & buy Glen a beer or 3. take care Glen.

MILLIONS of people all over the world are here for you and your family. I as with those millions of fan’s and more importantly friends are supporting you as well as grieving with you.
There are different stories but the one that was first said was he had a heart attack. Other references said stroke or fever or had a seizure and drowned. The answer was a heart attck.
Mr. Mitchell Guist was a true southern gentleman in every aspect. A treasure to his community and his family. God bless you Mr. Glenn, I'm sorry for your loss. The swamp was more interesting with Mr. Mitchell in the world.
Just a suggestion. Do a "celelbration of life" episode with all the swampers and friends in his honor. The swamp lost a great man. He, and the rest, are in my prayers.
My family really miss Mitchell Guist and hope Glen will remain healthy and well. They are both intelligent and your best friend. I cried when I heard about Mitchell. Here it is several,years later and we still miss him very much. Hope Glen will be in season 7 whenever History channel,gets off its butt and gets Swamp People back on.

thx for the video, my dad came out of the operating room today 5/15/12 and i told him that one of the brothers had died , mitchell, and even though he was still half out of it he responded really? THAT IS TOO BAD THOSE 2 KNEW HOW TO LIVE DIDN,T THEY? i said yes they did dad, he was truly saddened because me and him watch the show on thursday nights and we both liked the brothers, may mitchell rest in peace love to all his family.
I miss seeing the brothers together, at least we see glenn every now and then, I was glad to get to see you boys together, makes me wish i had the same relationship with my brothers.........Mitchell is in heaven getting protein for all the people in heaven

You can see it in Glenn’s eyes how much Mitchell meant the world to him. True definition of brothers. My heart seriously goes out to Glenn.
