I have a 2011 ford explorer xlt with the big screen none Sony stereo. What wire did you use for a remote wire for the amp to turn on. I was thinking the wire to the antenna but I’m not sure if it will stay powered if I use Bluetooth to play music. I’m not sure if the antenna power wire stays hot if your not playing the radio
That's what I'm desperately trying to find info on I have a 2015 xlt with standard radio trying to find best location for tapping the front door speakers I know sometimes the passenger door pillar area has the wires housed for the speakers or wondering if I can tap somewhere in the rear to rub a loc 1
I was waiting for that comment lol… Especially just the bear power wire hanging underneath your vehicle… Vehicles are dangerous to begin with let alone throwing a wire underneath it connected directly to the electrical system capable of 100 or more amps at 14+ volts another day another car fire I suppose😂😂 More serious note, this is not the boast paragraph or my time to flex or anything. Just wanted to give everyone a little background on my experience and knowledge before I comment anything more!…I’ve been installing Car Audio for 26 years, and have been installing, fabricating managing, running, and have now owned my own shop for eight years, and only under the most of extreme circumstances have we ever ran a wire or set of wires underneath a vehicle due to lack of a pass-through in the firewall with a thick rubber grommet around it, and more than likely some braided sleeving as well! To the poster of the video no hate coming from my direction. I understand you do what has to be done sometimes, and if it’s up in there and tucked up safely, then you should be fine, sometimes shit happens with road hazards, maybe a chunk of rubber in the road that you don’t have time to avoid that flings up and clips the wire, there’s just a lot of factors to think about! Be safe everyone! …a 500 W amp isn’t worth burning your vehicle down!!
You play NO games.

Nice. FYI, that foot rest on the left side of the footwell is called a "dead pedal".
