- From my vintage garage the Mercedes C 11 Le Mans race car. Two videos to show you this wonderful Tamiya model. In this video the walk around and the work with some interesting tips and "surprises"
Thank you Nanni for bringing this wonderful car back to life.
Its chassis is simplistic but this model is truly magnificent, one of my favorite Tamiyas for sure.
Ciao. 😃
The Chassis is a very well tested system similar to F1 and 1/12 Porsche 962 and Toyota Toms and several other models. Ciao!
I love the car so cool!i remember when this first came out! Always wanted one back in the 80s and still do!!! The yellow is awesome 👌
Hi Darris, thanks, this I made for the shop window right in the '80. Ciao!
Love your videos and cool accent. I bought one of those cheap knock off esc's that look similar to yours with the red heat sink but cook if running fast brushed motors with 2s
May be old servos are not suitable with modern radio..... Thanks for watching and Ciao, Nanni
Most likely your old servo is analog, and the Noble NB4 transmitter servo default is digital. All you have to do is go into the transmitter settings and change the servo to analog, problem solved. Ask me how I know ; ) Nice vid on the car, I will have one in my collection without a doubt.
This is really the best tip I received. I supposed the olde servo does not match the radio but I did not try to go in the settings... Really thank you! Ciao, Nanni
Hi there Nanni, another great video my good friend. I must do the same for my body clips and place them on strong cords, so I don’t loose them 😊😊😊best wishes to you and the family 😊😊
now the best body mounting I done is on Subaru BRZ with magnets. Once you try that all is antic! Ciao
What did you use to clean the body?
A special oven cleaner that in Italy is called " Tergi forno" from factory Sutter, but a dish soap is good enough.. also for painting the body. Ciao!
what did u use to put the esc and reciever on the rc car?
Velcro.
I have the Fly Sky NB4 noble. The system will only work properly with digital servo. It will not work properly with analog servo. It will not center properly and it will cause that glitch like that shaking, it will cause the servo to heat up regardless if servo is new or not.
I supposed, But I used with other similar servos and had no problems. Thanks for the nice tip! Ciao, Nanni
I also have a NB4 and once I changed the TX servo setting from analog to digital all the glitching and noise went away. It can be set for each individual model saved and made the analog servo in my F104 work perfect
N1 nice car my friend like do u have mercedes clr 99?
not Yet.......
@@NANNIRCits epic car too
@@oi3 Right!!
I have the same problem with my very old servos and the new gyro receivers. I just use newer servos
I think it's better!
I just built one of these for finsies and I cannot believe how utterly shite it is. The quality is barely ok for the price I suppose but the design and consideration for performance is appalling. Just don't do it. Get a proper kit from any other manufacturer. Don't buy an RTR and don't buy a Tamiya. Just don't.
what a pity for you....
