Brenton, very well done and what I really appreciate you doing is crediting the man who came up with it. This is very well done. Thank you for posting. All the best, Larry de K7HN
brenton meadows hi really very happy to see that its working a big thank you because i think it will be my next tranceiver for essb could you if it does not take you too long to do a modulation test lots of people are looking forward to this kind of test again thank you
Hi, Please help me ... I will buy a new radio and I am in doubt which one to choose ??? Kenwood ts 890 or Icom 7610 ??? yaesu ftdx 101mp can you help me with the opinion on which one is best ??? thanks 73
It give you nothing most important is the lower. Freq not the high 4 k ir CB is still 100hz /4khz give nothing your audio is ad the same as 3 since the 100hz can’t be change sad
ESSB is great for people who do not care how wide their signal is,and how much splatter they produce in adjacent channels, making qrm to others...and they do not care what law say what is widest transmitted signal allowed,,,
So. Tell us what you really think. And why would people care how wide their signal is when they think it's fine to spend five minutes tuning up 1 kc from a DXpedition on Reunion island or Antartica?
This is what you tell the guys who work in competitions with a 2.4 kHz filter, and on the range they occupy 15-20 Khz ! Already better ESSB with IMD3 at 35-40db than 2.4 khz with IMD3 10-15db !!!
@@_devjatov_ very true statement, but given today's RTX common poor TX IMD3, the result will most likely be even worse. The other aspect is that very few of us set the RX BW over 3kHz, therefore, the extra transmitted 1kHz is just kept out of the passband. 73, I4LEC
Did I misunderstand or did you say that it must be easy to do if those Spanish Chaps can do it? You're not allowed to make a joke in the age of enlightenment and "INCLUSIVENESS".

Whats Ron's Net?
VK3HAU ttbf mode allows you to considerably expand the transmission bandwidth so you have a vastly improved modulation adjustment range
