  • Hi everyone and thanks again for tuning in! Hello also to my new subscribers, I really appreciate your interest in this channel, thank you!
A few months back, I had a fun days flying with Easyjet from Edinburgh to Birmingham (via Belfast). Yes it would have been really easy to fly from Edinburgh straight down to Birmingham with Easyjet. After all, it's only about £25 which is a price the train can struggle to compete with. However, I thought I'd take a more leisurely and scenic route flying over to Belfast International first. I'd never been there before and did it for no other reason than 'just for the hell of it'.
Flying with Easyjet during these crazy times felt totally safe and I was very re-assured by their professionalism and hygiene standards, compared to some other carriers I could mention (and you could probably guess). I've booked more flights with EZ as a result and would not hesitate to recommend them at this moment in time.
I hope this video gives you an idea of what to expect if you too have a flight with Easyjet coming up and/or flying from/to the airports detailed.
Thank you for watching and please, if you like what I do, leave me a thumbs up and consider subscribing. I would really appreciate that and have lots more interesting content to share with you guys from recent trips! Also, once I hit my subscription target (which is hopefully imminent), I'm going to stop using my struggling old iPhone6 and get some proper stuff!
    Cheers for now!

Great Trip Report! I’m glad to see that you made a trip through my local airport (BFS). There is no real transit facilities at BFS as it serves primarily the low cost, point to point airlines. So any transfers, involve walking out of arrivals and then back to security for screening. Looking forward to the next trip.✈️

Aviation Fan UK Hey thanks AFUK, glad to see I didn’t miss anything on transit! I thought BFS was a bit old school, wish I’d have had more time to explore there really but it was literally off the plane and back through queueing up to get on it again! I might take a day trip out of BHX again for a couple of beers there sometime! I’ve just come back from Poland and Lithuania with LOT so I’m hoping to get those videos up in the next couple of weeks 👍

The little girl talking on your second flight was very sweet to hear.

Haha yes, sitting behind me and quite memorable. What I failed to mention in the video was that she opened a bottle of pop or something halfway through the flight which went all over me and the person in the next seat. No worries though, I have kids, I understand!

Useful advice re the Edinburgh tram. Like some other UK rail links the operator imposes an airport surcharge.

Agreed, bit of a rip-off really. Anyway, if you walk in from outside, you do get to see the Spitfire (high is a bonus).

Hiya Hammad and thanks for the question. I didn’t have to last year when I took the trip and I think that currently there is no mandatory test requirement but some would recommend doing one anyway. As with all these things, it’s best to check before you go for the latest but I think you’re ok at the moment (24/6/21). Cheers.
