the bloopers ahahha and the two guys at your back on the plane XD I love their face. good job EasyJet again! (I've only flied with them to come to Edinburgh, it's the best company to fly with, from Milan)
Have a break, watch a RogVlog. Awesome as always, but I must admit, Edinburgh Airport is my least favourite for arrivals. Departures not too bad, but coming back from international especially it's never one I look forward to. And that FastTrak experience is shocking!
We flew out of Heathrow back to Atlanta last Tuesday. It took us every minute of 3 and 1/2 hours from the time we got to the airport until we got to our seats on the plane. And I'm not somebody who dawdles at an airport. It was ridiculous. Airport's over. Here are every bit as overwhelmed and canceling flights left and right. The holiday weekend was atrocious.
Another good video Roger. You are brave sampling a domestic flight especially on a route where there's a good rail service. STN is a good bet ... it's the closest London airport to EDI. I think back to the days of BA's Super Shuttle or BD's Diamond Service when *all* passengers on those early flights would be served a full hot breakfast !
I remember the Super Shuttle breakfast. Bread roll, Corn Flakes, yogurt pot, jam and marmalade pot, full English breakfast and coffee served in a china mug! Incredible that they served that to 200 people on a 757 or 300 on a 767 on a hour long flight! And on evening shuttles: pre-dinner drinks, full hot meal with starter and dessert, wine with dinner and coffee and liqueurs after. All in an hour again. Incredible. 😂😀
@@RogEdwardsTV Absolutely. Some of these aviation fans on Twitter rave about full meal service in other countries with other airlines on short flights but they forget we in the UK used to enjoy the same.
@@RogEdwardsTV Then you shouldn't promote their products 😉. Btw... I'll be flying easyjet fr om Amsterdam to Edinburgh in a few months. Do you know if recent proof of vaccination is required there?
I think they need to invest more into the check-in and security areas (and arrivals) - even if this means reducing the number of shops. At the moment it’s a shopping mall with planes - it needs to become an airport again IMHO! 😀
You were late arriving at Edinburgh Airport, by the look of it? If you only spent 25 mins at Security. Had it been yesterday? You'd have waited 50 mins, like I did on the 10.15 to Belfast. And missed your Flight. Be Early... You've watched the News.
On the return trip I got to Stansted 3 hours before the flight and breezed through (standard) security in 1 minute. It’s very unpredictable what it’s going to be like. 😀
Thanks Tim. I don’t remember US airports being so massively geared towards retail (UK airports are mainly massive shopping malls with gates added) - but then again it’s been nearly 10 years since I was in the US. 🤔

Ha ha Laura! 😂 I’ve only just noticed the 3rd having a good look over! 😓

Thanks Steve! Yes the international arrivals at Edinburgh is very hit and miss. The E-Passport gates rarely seem to work when there are huge crowds! 🤔
Combination coffee and KitKat is Gold !!
👍😀

That’s not a good experience, Betsy. Hopefully things will improve - but airports really need to get their act together! 😀
The 🐗
Usual Edinburgh Airport . Never ever choose it if I can avoid it. So badly run.
Sad but true! 🥲
Amazing 👏
Thanks 🙏🏻

So. Did Nestlé pay for that flight?
All paid for myself - don’t think Nestlé would be interested in a small channel like mine. ☺️

I don’t think so, it I’m not 100% sure. The EasyJet website isn’t really very clear, is it? 🤔
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii🎐
Edinburgh Airport has been a disgrace for quite some time. One of worst I’ve ever been to.

Explain that to nz people.
EasyJet..
Oh trust me. Flying from America is eight times worse
Surely that would depend on the airport of departure, the terminal (major gateways have several), the airline, travel class etc.

you've got no chance of getting a job on tv
Thanks - always knew I had a face for radio! 😀
