6:12 oh goodness what an adorable kitty and all his important belongings! I've been wanting to try RS paints for while but want to know how they differ from Rosa Gallery??? Ive been investing in Rosa Gallery for a while now, they're very reasonably priced!
Rosa Gallery paints are also really good! Roman Szmal paints are possibly a bit less soft than the Rosa paints, at least the ones I've tried. But then again, it depends a lot on the pigments themselves. Any paint you enjoy using is the perfect paint ;)
Ive been wanting to buy this palette so many times, its close to my perfect one, but... I already have almost identical (except for two colors) that I've put together myself with RS paints, so I managed to stop myself from buying, but I love these paints so much. Theyre very good quality but not so pricy so i would be afraid to pplay with them.
I love Roman Szmal paints! Out of all the professional paints Ive tried (which is most of them), it is my favourite. They are just such a joy to work with and they have some super fun mixes. If anyone is wondering if they should get them, do it! Maybe get a few pans first to see if you like them :)
I agree! And it's a really good tip to try a few open stock first, to see if one likes them :) They have so many colors to chose from, they make it really easy to "just get a few" 🤣
I noticed these are honey based. Do they have mold problems? Curious what are your very favorite watercolors at this point. I love your drawings and paintings!
I have had these paints for about a year and a half and I have never had mold problems with them (I started my Roman Szmal collection with this exact set and then added to it). I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia Pennsylvania (USA). For comparison, my white nights set molded pretty badly.
I've had them for several years and they never grew any mold, with ambient humidity varying between 30% and 70%. They're less sticky and more firm than pan-poured Sennelier or White Nights tubes. I'd say they're pretty safe!
My RS palette survived a year in very humid and mold-prone parts of Ireland, but to be fair i never had problem with mold in watercolor, but i always use filtered or cooled down boiled water to paint/spray it with
Been looking to try Roman Szmal watercolor for a while and this review just makes me more eager. The paints on every video I see look gorgeous (specially their Aquarius colors), but this set seems a bit much for me. Any plans on making a video on their smaller 12 color sets? The travel set and the urban sketchers set look pretty good.
Such a lovely colour selection :) Before releasing my own Aquarius set I'd eyed this one as "almost exactly the colours I'd choose" for quite a while.
Hehe! It is a really nice color selection! :D
really like the blues in that set 🥰
They are such a beautiful selection of blues, I agree :3
I love your paint reviews!so much detail and I always love seeing your your illustrations of adventure cat.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it :)
This is so good, such an amazing review ☺☺
Thank you!! :D
Wow
A beautiful set!
Truly! :D
You’re sketchbook is very neat 😊.
This one is ;) (the other ones, less so XD)

I'm so curious about this brand. Thank you!
It is a great brand! If you can get a few colors you like from them, it's a really good way to try them out :)

Oh, well you don't need this exact palette if you already have a similar one :) Especially as it's also RS paints!
Be careful with PR176, as sadly it’s not lightfast 😞 (in Sh. Violet Light and Alizarin Crimson)
I'm personally not worried about that, but it's good to keep in mind if one wants only lightfast colors :)

@@EveBolt way too easy 🤣🤣 I've gotten a few more than a few times 🤣

Yes! I have both these sets and I plan on making videos featuring them, soon-ish :)
It would have been better if you swatched the colours again and painted something new (just in my opinion 😅)
#littlefangirl
That's what I did? I made those swatches and the paintings just for that video, in the last couple of weeks :)
First!
Aww yea XD
