I use the brand made in Switzerland, and I gift the Staedtler brand to my local art students. Both are good for on the go painting. Poor quality products turn students off making art since they do not perform as desired. Thank you for your work and reviews. You are appreciated.
That's a bummer :( They seem to be coated with a more waxy layer on the outside, have you tried scraping it off a bit? To see if it makes any difference.
These are obviously a cheap 'look -a-like' brand,the way the crayons and even the outside of the tin looks almost a duplicate of a more well known water soluble crayon brand.You sadly get what you pay for with these products.(Matt) Can see the appeal as a beginner set for a younger artist,but these are not for a more accomplished artist

I enjoy your honest take on this product.
Thanks so much! I aim to be honest in my reviews :D
You had better luck with them than I did. Mine are like dehydrated crayons. Very little water activation.

@EveBolt worth a try.
If I can get them halfway working, I'll add them to the holiday feast games and craft table.
These look stunning ☺
They are not reaaaally but they sure are fun to use! ;)
Love the sketch. 🐈
Nice art👌🎉🌠🌌🌠🎉🌠🌌🎉🌠🌌🎉🌠🌌
Caran d'ache dupe?
I think so? Certainly in terms of presentation ;)
@EveBolt yes at least presentation
