Hey, Peggy was very narcissistic but her character as a hole was great and fit the show fantastically. Really, I think, she put so much confidence on her actions to make up for her hardships she faced in her younger years with her mothers unjust critiques.
Bobby looks like Hank as a child in flashbacks on the show and we can see Cotton looked like Hank when he was younger as well. Plus, GH has a similar look to Bobby too. Bobby has a look that Hill men have. All of that puts holes in the Bill being Bobby’s father.
Yes the lazy design choices for youth of the white guys does based on appearance. But Bobby does act a lot more like Bill than any of them and takes to the French southern gentleman mannerisms rather quickly at their brief stay in Bill's Family Estate. Her appearance was retconned to explain Peggy's behavior as an arrogant know-it-all. I.e. Her mother constantly putting her down and making fun of her intellectual pursuits is the reason Peggy always nneds to impress people and prove her worth. That background made more sense for her character than just a bland Montana housewife who seemed more suburban than someone who runs a ranch/farm.

I get your point Briana but PLEASE use punctuation to separate your thoughts. I'm a die hard Lion King fan but have had an open mind on theories involving all 3 (soon to be 4) movies, the Timon and Pumbaa show, the Lion Guard and so forth. They're all just theories to think on.
Briana aren't you worried that if they did try to reboot the series they would try to make it politically correct. I don't want them turning Hank Hill into a nonbinary cisgendered blah blah.
Seth Long yeah your right that’s why I want him back because I want him to be his good old self hank hill gives no fucks tells it like it is regardless of who’s feelings he hurts isn’t that what we need at a time like this I swear everyone is so PC culture and everyone gets offended so easily we need this show back to be its old self I wish we could get that back but sadly who knows if we will!
One thing I liked about King of the Hill is the fact that they actually showed all the ancillary characters that other characters always talk about, like Lenore and Luanne's father. They didn't do that Big Bang Theory type thing where they never showed Howard's mom, but you always hear her.
The fat jokes they always made about Howard's mom probably prevented them from putting anyone on screen. You either get someone too small, and now everyone on screen is just fat shaming a real person. It keeps the jokes less offensive to not put someone on screen and whatever you imagine is going to be better than what they would have shown.
@@BaldingClamydia I didn't realize she was supposed to be that fat, but I didn't watch the show that much. On king of the Hill, if they wanted a character who was that big, all they'd have to do was draw them.
Cotton thinks Hank has an intellectual disability. Cotton would use the R word if it would have been allowed on TV, but we know that's now considered offensive. And Cotton would have been as offensive with it as it gets.
Why would you think Cotton doesn't hate Hank? He never gives us any reason to think he likes Hank, at all. If anything, he probably hates Hank for the urethra thing (making him less of a man who could barely keep the family name alive), his wife (who most of us hated, too), think's Hank is a coward, and the fact that he hates Hank's mother, too. Parents hating their kids does happen, even as sad as that is. Cotton seems like the type, too, and didn't keep it a secret. Cotton seemed quite content with himself and his life, the only regret he seemed to have was not getting to know his other son and not keep in contact with his mother; he didn't seem to envy Hank or his life in any way. And, tbh, I don't blame him. Hank was boring. Probably why Cotton liked Bobby and Dale most of all, both people who tended to do things their own way and actually had fun in life.
I don't know about the OCD theory, but Hank does show emotion. He gets emotional over his truck breaking down. He also shows fear after the propane explosion, and we all know he has legit anger issues.
It’s crazy the last couple of days I’ve been watching king of the hill video and clips and now this pops up. I think someone is trying to tell me something
She didn't land on her head to cause brain damage, they don't even mention it in the show. What makes more sense is that she sees highly of herself having survived something falling from a plane.
Ugh, as someone with ACTUAL, diagnosed OCD, this is NOT what OCD looks like. When you have OCD you don't just get upset when things mess up your OCD habits/routines, you have a total meltdown. It ruins your whole day, It's also not typically linear. for example, a person with OCD may have an immaculately clean home but a messy, disgusting car. This looks more like Obsessive Compulsive PERSONALITY Disorder which is different from OCD.
“3 miles from Dallas, close to Austin.” Geographically inaccurate. 1. Austin is almost 200 miles from Dallas. 2. Clifton is 96 miles from Dallas. 119 from Austin.
Enjoyed all the facts and speculations in this video I think a King of the Hill reboot would be very cool. Something a lot of people don't talk about Bobby's real name, even though Bobby is a short form for Robert no one ever uses his real name Nancy's Infidelity The fact that the entire neighbourhood including Bobby, but somehow not Peggy in the early Seasons, knows what's going on with their next door neighbour, but fails to tell Dale.
To add to boomhaures theory of being undercover: there's this episode where hank, Bill, and Dale are trying to figure out why he left town for two weeks and assume it's cause he went to watch a football camp
But there's a difference between a narcissist (Peggy) and someone that has cases of delusions of grandeur (Linda). Windows problems not caused by her own ego it's mainly her being bored off her ass at the restaurant. Using escapism and ambient noise from the TV programs to keep her sanity. And she can actually admit when she's wrong. Peggy's is all about her own ego and her own delusions of higher self worth. And like hey certain third wave female group can never admit when they're wrong.
Linda just loves life. Linda never claims to have invented commonly-known words, created commonly-known foods, or any of the self-aggrandizing things Peggy does. Unlike spa-Peggy and meatballs, Linda never claimed to have invented Lindaccine, lol.

Just want to mention that what you call OCD is actually OCPD. It’s a common mistake people make when labeling people with “perfectionist” tendencies like Hank has. OCD is more related to anxiety whereas OCPD is a personality disorder.

Dale does speak Russian maybe he's really a Russian sleeper that's why he goes by rusty shackleford
Dale only does stuff half-ass so he probably took a couple of classes on it if not just bought the introductory guide and barely cracked it open.
Nothing to be as fluent as he thinks he is.
@@Doctor_Odin no he met with Russians and he could drive a tank exploding mailbox changing the numbers on his house to Hanks there's a lot there he's up to something 🤔
@@Doctor_Odin not to mention him being an exterminator giving him access to dangerous chemicals and poison
He uses that name to order pizzas
He THINKS he speaks Russian. He speaks Russian like Peggy speaks Spanish. He knows Russian words but clearly does not know what they mean. He did a bad job of driving that tank.
When you think about it boomhauer looks kind of like Johnny bravo
Yes but he way better with the ladys
He's basically a more successful, lady killer version of Johnny Bravo.
@@lucasmartinez5703 johnny's successful offscreen
Minus the muscles and hair but yes totally
yes what a dark twist that Luanne was a mechanic. truly horrifying
DAMNNNN ITTTT BOBBBYYYYY !!!!
I always thought the Badge was fake so he could pick up chicks,
Nah man. Hes a ranger keeping track of Dale. He was sent to keep an eye on him because of all the weord things hes into so hes on watch lists.
Luanne being good at fixing cars is a “dark theory that changes everything”??? HOW?
It's not even a theory. It's just facts. The writers just never did anything with her obvious aptitude for it.
This theory is not dark to me & neither is the one about Hank being autistic.
I like this video,
I tell ya h'wat.
I used to finish or start some sentences with, "I tell you what," as a joking reference. But I've used it so much that I actually say it now!
Ironic, I tell you what!
KOTH was amazing and deserves a remake. But this video was incredibly boring and a good 80% isn't believable.
*Its a shame Peggy survived that fall !!!* 😑😑😑😑
lmao iam still wondering about that
equally weird that she fall face down, but landed face up.
YES!! I cannot stand Peggy Hill! Her level of narcissism turns my stomach! I always thought she was mentally ill because one would have to be both deaf AND blind to see that face in the mirror and continue to lack at least SOME humility.
Hey, Peggy was very narcissistic but her character as a hole was great and fit the show fantastically. Really, I think, she put so much confidence on her actions to make up for her hardships she faced in her younger years with her mothers unjust critiques.
Honestly, her inflated ego is so hilarious to me that I can't see how people hate her. She's just funny to me.
And in real life certain behaviors are genetic.
Bobby is not a Dautereve. He and Cotton look too similar for it. And Cotton is definitely dead.
But it's not just appearance-wise Bobby acts more like Bill and picks up the whole Southern gentleman stuff a little too quickly.
@@Doctor_Odin I would just chock that up to Bobby trying to fit in to his surroundings. I like Bobby, but he's a chameleon.
@@michaelhowell2326
Not to mention that Bobby and GH look exactly alike.
@@diablodavila oh man, I totally forgot all about Good Hank.
Cotton fake died a moment before really dying and said he learned to slow his heart rate. He could have been faking it again until Hank and Peggy left.
Bill must be Good Hank's father too, because GH and Bobby look identical
Or Bill is Cotton's son
@@thedarknight307 If anyone is Cotton's son, it'd be Dale because Dale idolizes Cotton like no one else and Cotton actually seems to be able to stand Dale most of the time, lol.
Sometimes I miss this show with all the simpsons and Seth MacFarlane shows rampant
It's on Hulu if you have that available.
Bill admits he slept with Peggy when they're stranded in the ocean. "On a dark lonely night, I slept with Peggy."
He didnt sabatoge hanks car. He sabatoged his own car to stay longer.
@Vince Cronk Yeah, I was thinking that too.
That's a clean burnin' hell I tell you what. Hahahaha
Clifton is 96 miles away from Dallas. Not 3 miles like you've stated in the video.
King of the Hill might have a reboot... If Cotton Comes back I will make a mess of my pants.
I normally eat nachos or snack food while watching new episodes, gonna jump and spill that stuff everywhere if I see Cotton.
Luanne being good at auto repair is so DARK
Bevis and Butthead should be in KOTH
So should dark. It be interesting how sad is and banks outsider perspective battle each other over who is right.
Someone said "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it". I can't remember who.
Cotton could be bobby's dad that explains why he loves him so much and treats him like he's his son
But Cotton and Peggy can't stand eacg other and not in an "ex-lover" sort of way.
Peggy would never cheat on Hank.
@@somberstricken4424 Maybe if it was a drunken act of desperation after all she was the one that wanted multiple children. She may have even considered leaving Hank at one point until Bobby came around.
@@user-vd2jk7dl3p Cotton hates Peggy & is the ONLY character on the show that acknowledges the glaring fact that Peggy is a shameless narcissist. He wouldn't even take the free shot. That hatred was strong.
@@YoudontknowMimi Yup! I love.Cotton. might be my favorite character 😊
I keep hearing that theory about Bill being Bobby's father and I can't help but contradict it. Those who theorize it you must not remember those flashbacks of Hanks childhood. Face as a child actually looks a lot like Bobby which only in turn would tell me that Hank most definitely is Bobby's biological father
The only one that I haven't heard that can be true is hal being Hanks half brother.
I'd like to see Luanne having a career as a mechanic if they reboot the show
I think you might be a little dissapointed if they reboot
this show was so good they need to bring it back
Hal is definitely Hank's other brother and I have always believed it as has everyone I know. I was surprised time and time again over the series when it kept not coming up until the end. IF this show does return they NEED to confirm it.
2:16 they literally say “We went 2000 miles for this?” Dale would not stay in a city 1 year BEFORE the football game they showed up for.
Did anyone address peggy's two mothers. One is introvert and in a new season shes a bad ass whats the deal with that?
Yeah, and who is Bobby's "grandmother" who shows up in "I Remember Mono"? She looks nothing like Hank's mom Tilly or Peggy's mom Maddy.
I Am a king of the hill die hard fan and have all memorabilia and exclusive dvds and such and let me start off by saying that most of these are so absurd like if you are a king of the hill fan and believe these your not a real fan lol but nice video otherwise great conspiracies!! I just hope they bring it back I heard from a little birdie that they just might do so!!
Always good to start the day with a 'No true Scotsman'
Gatekeeping a show..
@@Melissa0774 Truth!
Cotton doesn't hate hank.
He hates that he isn't hank.
Hank is content in the now and the routine.
Cotton doesn't.
Cotton thinks Hank has an intellectual disability. Cotton would use the R word if it would have been allowed on TV, but we know that's now considered offensive. And Cotton would have been as offensive with it as it gets.
@@YoudontknowMimi
Yeah probably that too. Doesn't mean cotton hates hank.
I just hope they bring back King of the Hill there's so many things Mike judge can make fun of
Koth never relied on making fun of things in society for laughs it was real life most of the time relatable material that any middle class family face
Clifton is NOT three miles south of Dallas, nor is Austin near. Google it!
There’s 5x more evidence saying Bill is Bobby’s father, than him not being the daddy.
...in the show they've always said they're from Texas though
It’s crazy the last couple of days I’ve been watching king of the hill video and clips and now this pops up. I think someone is trying to tell me something
UA-cams algorithm is telling you to watch more ads... ~Spooky~
She didn't land on her head to cause brain damage, they don't even mention it in the show.
What makes more sense is that she sees highly of herself having survived something falling from a plane.
"Dang it Bobby"
Ugh, as someone with ACTUAL, diagnosed OCD, this is NOT what OCD looks like. When you have OCD you don't just get upset when things mess up your OCD habits/routines, you have a total meltdown. It ruins your whole day, It's also not typically linear. for example, a person with OCD may have an immaculately clean home but a messy, disgusting car. This looks more like Obsessive Compulsive PERSONALITY Disorder which is different from OCD.
Love how you describe internet theorists on point. I'm hoping these theories don't piss me off bc I love KOTH.
Thanks for recognizing Luanne's mechanic skills. Everyone seems to forget that about her.
“3 miles from Dallas, close to Austin.” Geographically inaccurate. 1. Austin is almost 200 miles from Dallas. 2. Clifton is 96 miles from Dallas. 119 from Austin.
Has anyone else noticed that Good Hank looks EXACTLY like a miniature Bobby?
Cotton did not kill Griffin. Griffin is seen in the episode “Hank and the Glass Elevator”. He squirts LuAnne with a squirt gun at the pool party.
Wait. Hank looks more like his mother than Cotton. So why does his Japanese half brother look like Hank's mom? 🤔
3 miles away from Dallas “close to Austin.”
But that begs the question, will pro-pain ever be released?
is it just me or do half of these seem implausible?
Enjoyed all the facts and speculations in this video I think a King of the Hill reboot would be very cool.
Something a lot of people don't talk about Bobby's real name, even though Bobby is a short form for Robert no one ever uses his real name
Nancy's Infidelity
The fact that the entire neighbourhood including Bobby, but somehow not Peggy in the early Seasons, knows what's going on with their next door neighbour, but fails to tell Dale.
3:15 Mind blown seeing a non-obese Drew Carey.
Boomhauser is definitely a mechanic not an electrician. Electricians don’t use spark plugs mechanics do and his love of American muscle
I want a real people king of the hill
Then move to a middle of nowhere town in Texas. You'll get all the Boomhauers and Hanks you can handle, I'll telluwhut.
But south park is actually a real town
To add to boomhaures theory of being undercover: there's this episode where hank, Bill, and Dale are trying to figure out why he left town for two weeks and assume it's cause he went to watch a football camp
Cant call.Peggy a Narcissist without calling Linda from.bobs burgers the same. And yall love Linda
@@Doctor_Odin Sounds exactly like Linda. But because of color schemes we see different. I wouldn't want either as a parent there is 0 justification
Linda just loves life. Linda never claims to have invented commonly-known words, created commonly-known foods, or any of the self-aggrandizing things Peggy does. Unlike spa-Peggy and meatballs, Linda never claimed to have invented Lindaccine, lol.
LOL Clifton is not 3 miles from Dallas nor is it close to Austin...it's about 75 miles from Dallas and 120 from Austin
Peggy just thinks she's better than most people as you say, because she survived the drop from a plane to the ground.
South Park is 2 real places in Colorado

Just want to mention that what you call OCD is actually OCPD. It’s a common mistake people make when labeling people with “perfectionist” tendencies like Hank has. OCD is more related to anxiety whereas OCPD is a personality disorder.
Springfield is in oregon.
It always great to see this show still alive thanks to the die hard fans light heart wholesome and the type of adult animating you could show your kid with little worrys

Cotton must be Bill’s father too. It explains why Bobby looks like Cotton.
Hank’s mom is likely the link between Hank and his Japanese half brother. They both look like her, and nothing like Cotton.
