After 20 years of watching Dragonball Z... Nothing beats a good story, character development, and most importantly originality and authenticity! I’m very impressed. This gives me the nostalgia just like in the late 90’s.
A.J Thomas I know, but they way Black said that was disturbing for me. Now taken up to eleven thanks to Majin 21 (she's at her creepiest in this form, for me).
I really like the antagonism between 21 and Frieza. Also the weird mutual respect Frieza and Cell developed. Villain path was great because it put everyone's fate in the hands of their enemies.
Y’know, Frieza, with his threatening disposition and willingness to easily follow up on his threats at the sign of displeasure could’ve just said “NO DANCING OR YOU WILL DIE” to the Ginyu Force yet at no point only reluctantly says “Perhaps another time.” Kinda makes me wonder if secretly he loves the goofy antics and poses of the Ginyu Force but doesn’t want to show it because he has to keep up appearances as a refined but iron-fisted and egomaniacal tyrant?
Sometimes I think that he’s thinking, “Well, this is incredibly embarrassing, but they’re not bad fighters, and are loyal and enthusiastic, and I deserve such followers. I suppose I could put up with this...”
"there isn't a single anime franchise that can compete with this in terms of graphics." I read the comment better than you mate. Also, even in that context Naruto games are at this level. This game has janky movement in the cutscenes and the background are't groundbreaking.
This story mode is insane. To be honest, I'm falling in love with 21 in Majin form, the characters are breaking the 4th wall, talking to us, and we are linked with DBZ characters!!! I LOVE THIS!!!!

getting tired of that Frieza milking honestly. Logically, Cell should have gotten some development, but guess him making fun of others is enough to please the viewers.
I truly agree because if it wasn't for 16, Gohan wouldn't have become as great as he is today because that transformation what's the best transformation I ever seen passed his own father.
Frieza and Cell were the best, no contest. The bickering, the struggle between two alpha males with their own personal motives, the arrogance, the plot... everything was just nicely done. 5/5 10/10 Epic fucking win.

Roby Messina It was good. And Android 21 was going to grow evil thanks to her abnormal cells. Thing with that is she wouldn't be reincarnated like Kid Buu so the 3rd arc is a little more of a better ending imo.
This was an amazing story. I loved everybit of it! Android 21 was amazing, good and evil! I really hope to see her again in other dragonball games. Not just because Dragonball needs more female fighters, because she was a really cool character. GREAT JOB DRAGONBALL FIGHTERZ, I will enjoy playing your video game forever! I find Ginyu getting disturbed by the thought of another soul being in him to be odd. His ability basically swaps souls between bodies, and his form now isn't even his original body. He's the last person I expect to be shocked by this stuff.
The difference is that Ginyu swaps with his opponent and has done so in the past before the freeza saga in DBZ. This time however he hasnt swapped. He looset control to the artifical soul when fighting. So hes a spectator in his own body. Completly different.
Kevin Nguyen Arc Sys always nails the lip syncing for the story mode, however, I don't think they handle the intro dubbing because they clearly were just reading off paper.
The problem is that funimation isnt given gameplay footage for reference so the lipsynching ends up being atrocious. The seriously need to fix it and just make new lip flap animations for the dub.
Drilbit to be fair it was out of there hands since Arc system was afraid someone would leak the entire script as well as gameplay footage for the story mode
Kinda feel bad for 21. At first I've thought she was a villainess until all was revealed at the last arc. Turns out that she's torn between her good self and the darker soul she link with. Even more tragic, she lost her son before the Android Saga. Since she is the most popular character, I think Android 21 would make a great addition to the Z Fighters as if Goku will be able to convince King Yemma about reincarnated her. Even when she did tell her link partner that he's a " Very Special human soul", I wonder if she have feeling for the player/anonymous human warrior. 21 is my favorite character of the game. Who else agrees?
A.J Thomas she's definitely the best new original villain. Also she's one of the very few female villains in the series that's a serious threat. She's seriously fun.
It seems the theory is correct. SHE IS DR. GERO'S WIFE!!!!!!!!!! Whoever came up with that theory deserves a ton of praise. That and her being designed by Toriyama makes it literally official lol.
Likely the reason why Toriyama's open to the idea of bringing her into the mainstream beyond this "what-if" story; she's effectively a canon character.

I love that in the Villain arc, 21 is left so underpowered because of all the villains escaping, that they don't even have to bother going off-world to defeat her. It's a neat detail for that variation.
These arcs were good despite that this video felt lengthy. My most favorite arc was the last one. I hope Android 21 returns at some point as character in the Dagon Ball anime.

So, if i understand, Kid buu cells were used by Gero comptuter into android 21 with Frieza's and Perfect Cell's one. Kid Buu's Cells try to ressurect again using 21 by absorbing those clones made by the Red Rubban army Gero's comptuters. Android 21 with the help of the rebuild 16 try to stop those clones and stop the Evil gowing Inside her.
Can you also upload the interactions you have with the characters? I heard theres a special link mechanic that lets you talk with the fighters to grow a bond, and make them stronger.

I feel like Gohan was really needed in at least one of the sagas in this game as he would have played a good part in this where 16 could have had that Nostalgia moment that he needed and a little bit of closure to know that he change somebody's life with his kindness.
I kind of wish they included Chichi in this. Her skills may be rusty by now, but her perspective on everything and interactions with everyone would’ve been interesting. Also, it would’ve been funny to see what she calls her attacks: “MOTHERLY ANGER!” “WIFELY ANGER!” “ANGRY MOTHER BERSERK MODE!”
I like freezer's occasional or cringing at the ginyu force's posing the whole time I also loved the extra humor and other things like the conversations they have before fights
Dbz is one of the few instances where canon can just completely shit out from all directions and still be awesome. Just all the different powers, personalities, potential dialogues... doesn't matter who, when, or why the current bad guy is but fuck it we're gonna fight'em. Cosmic space nihilism

So, if i understand, Kid buu cells were used by Gero comptuter into android 21 with Frieza's and Perfect Cell's one.
Kid Buu's Cells try to ressurect again using 21 by absorbing those clones made by the Red Rubban army Gero's comptuters.
Android 21 with the help of the rebuild 16 try to stop those clones and stop the Evil gowing Inside her.
Can you also upload the interactions you have with the characters? I heard theres a special link mechanic that lets you talk with the fighters to grow a bond, and make them stronger.

I feel like Gohan was really needed in at least one of the sagas in this game as he would have played a good part in this where 16 could have had that Nostalgia moment that he needed and a little bit of closure to know that he change somebody's life with his kindness.

Dbz is one of the few instances where canon can just completely shit out from all directions and still be awesome. Just all the different powers, personalities, potential dialogues... doesn't matter who, when, or why the current bad guy is but fuck it we're gonna fight'em.
