    Great video. Watching this after purchasing the top of the range 2021 2.0litre turbo FR4 . Traded a 2021 Defender D240 SE along with my 2014 530d M sport for the Tarraco and a Polestar dual range. Couldn’t be happier
    The amount of stuff in the Tarraco for the money is fantastic. Finish is good. Driveability is really good (better than the Q5, Tiguan, Kodiak 5008 etc) - and I think it’s the best looking of the bunch.
    A great looking car that drives well with a bunch of safety features, neat user features and it moves quickly.

    I have a 2019 SE Technology, and my favourite features are 1. All of the seats (apart from the drivers) fold completely flat, 2. The runner lights on the door cards, 3. The lights on the bottom of the wing mirrors that shine onto the floor and 4. The dash (which you talked about). Brilliant car.

      Overall a very impressive and flexible and even more so for the price point (especially if you got for a lower trim level)

    Good review- and glad you found the 20” alloys didn’t make the drive too rough (I only managed a test drive in one with 18” wheels) you convinced me that the top model was the one to go for and hopefully it should be arriving in July!

    I agree with what you said at 16:12 I have 2019 Terraco Excellence myself, upgraded from VW Tiguan 2018. Although there isn't much difference in VW and Seat but on bendy roads and narrow curves, this car feels a bit sickly even if you try to maintain speed limits.

    • @gwood701
      @gwood701 10 місяців тому

      What do you mean by sickly??

    • @IK-yx2gj221
      @IK-yx2gj221 9 місяців тому

      @@gwood701 Unexpected bends & turns for passengers gives motion sickness causing them nauseasness and even throw up in extreme cases. When this car was new, I drove just like I used to drive Tiguan on the same road and with same passengers but unlike VW, I cause motion sickness to a passenger with Seat. Now I drive a bit more carefully and things r in control.
      I mean car is good, it has a lot of extras and great value for money. And its the safest car available from the lot there is, its just that build quality is slightly different than VW I mean to say

    The Car Wireless Charging issue can be solved by spending £20 on a in car wireless charging pad.
    An insignificant issue given everything else to love about this beauty I will hopefully be purchasing this Year.

    And one thing thats probably worth considering is the service standards, expect that to be lower than its sister brands. Have used 2 dealers for winter check & retro fit purpose and I don't want to name & shame dealers but as an ex-VW customer, Seat's after sales servicing standards are not that good

    • @JonathanPieforPM
      @JonathanPieforPM Рік тому +2

      I think it may depend on a few things. : here in NZ Seat is part of the same group (Giltrap) and they have the highest standard no matter what brand you buy through them. Just my experience of them with Audi, VW, Seat, Land Rover …

    Please don’t keep taking both hands off the steering wheel when driving! It’s both potentially dangerous and very irritating...

    • @DamoDrives
      @DamoDrives  3 роки тому

      I will take you point on board although it did have lane assist and would make adjustments to keep you in the centre of your lane

    • @marklangley8414
      @marklangley8414 3 роки тому +1

      I understand that- though for Lane assist to operate, both hands need to be on the steering wheel (otherwise after a second or two it disengages and a warning light comes on!). Taking hands off the wheel could be considered driving with undue care and attention; I know what it’s like to speak with hands and it can be hard to break the habit- but worth trying to keep one hand planted on the wheel!
