I had my White 23 TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed Tacoma 2 toned in Barcelona Red on the lower section of my truck following the body lines. My TRD has the Premium and Technology pkgs, so it came with Black Leather interior. I had Katzkin make Barcelona Red Leather seats for my Tacoma. I also had it pinstriped in Barcelona Red. Instead of the normal Red interior trim pieces, I decided to go with the Mahogany wood trim pieces. Cosmetically my TRD is 1 of a kind. I’ve already installed a cold air intake and a Flowmaster FlowFX dual exhaust system, “Trail Hunter” Bronze wheels and next month I’m having the Overland Torque Tune installed so that my Tacoma Stops “hunting” for the right gear, the torque starts at 2K RPM, instead of 3,600 RPM. With the intake, exhaust and the OTT, my Tacoma now has over 300 horsepower and gets 1-2 Better mpg. Who says that you can’t have it all?
Have you checked out @Mesocustoms? That's where I got my interior blackouts for the console. Didn't need them for the ac as mine happened to be a true base model SR. Also lucked out with the body color back bumper. One thing I highly recommend from these guys though is an aluminum molle rack covered with black color powder paint I believe and it installs by removing your rear headliner handles. The handles can be reinstalled after if you prefer. I left mine off.I can't tell you how much stuff (maps, mail, rags, fishing gear, etc) I could fit in that 2 inch cubby it creates along the width of your headliner above the back seat. I can't remember the name of the vendor as he was making them out of his garage in San Diego and selling through Tacoma world but one off there first mods I did was the grille. The center left the perfect flat spot for an '85 Landcruiser "TOYOTA" emblem purchased from Amazon. Another was a 17" knock off off the 16" 2020 TRD pro rims, I asked him to leave the center cap logo off. The 1 inch difference made them look almost like an entirely different design because of the geometry elongating the "web" beyond the lug circle. I do envy that you spent a little extra for the sr5, not so much for the touch screen or even the modem day alarm key, though they are nice features to have. But the fact that I had to go specifically to the driver side every time I wanted to unlock my doors. No keyhole on the passenger side😠. Also the headlights are completely different and not able to simply swap for the ones you did. It's a completely different wiring system apparently. @TheUnrestricted ah... no it's not. You have (from top to bottom)The TRD Pro, TRD 4X4, The SR5, The SR, Limited and SE. Below the SR5 the standard motor is the 2.7 4 cylinder, with an option of the V6 on the SR. The SR5 and above come with the 3.5L V6. 😂
