Great review as always Bro, been a strange month for me, was passing on the Shima's as imho they are as close to the OGs you will get and the 86BBs, firstly I had pull the trigger on the Shima's as they are going to look fresh, clean colourway paired up with my new Denham jacket, that's has a Japanese print on the back and the 86BBs I was passing due to the size of the air bubble, as I had an OG pair in 87 with the smaller unit, after the recall from Nike of the 86s. But knowing the history I changed my mind and copped for retail both pairs 😂
It’s an emotional rollercoaster when it comes to kicks, I constantly tell myself ‘I don’t need them, I’m not buying them’ and then you know what happens.. I bloody buy them anyway😂
I think some of Foxtrot's oxide laces would look nice with this shoe, I got my pair already and I love it but I do wish that it came with another set of laces.
hmm...i might prefer a mesh on the top of the toe box area, but im still into them.

Japanese script says "Shima Shima" which means pinstripe. Hence the pinstripes on the heal lining
