Yessss this has definitely been a depression fighter for me. It's getting cold here in wv now so I got my first grow lights yesterday hoping to keep my babies going through the winter. I started my channel the other day and I even talked about how much gardening has helped my depression in my video yesterday! ☺️
Most helpful lighting video I’ve seen. THANK YOU ! I’m gonna slowly build a small collection of all three types and experiment . I’m gonna start with the Sunblaster LED if I can afford it tho . Your plants are stunning 😊
Great video! I'm kind of confused because I see most people saying that LED lights dont have the sufficient UV rays required to color stress the succulents. They say that fluorescent lights do have that UV light. but you seem to be saying that you get better color stress from your LED lights. Is that true and could you explain that a bit. Please and thanks!
LOVE this video! I’m figuring out my indoor grow room for winter 🥶 and have been pondering lighting. One question: where did you find your adorable little white square pots? I’ve been looking for square pots to maximize my space (exactly what you have!!) and not finding what I want.

I bought some second hand old school lights I think the shells will be the most advantageous but I don't think I will go with the existing housing I will order online for that. Do you run a ballast ?
So the take home is if I wanted to rotate my plants as sun changes through out the day that concept doesn't work ? Starting with soft light in morning rotating to t5 noon and back to soft light
Thanks for this helpful video! Hello, newbie here and I would like to seek your help regarding grow light system. Been researching and watching YT to get some infos but a bit confused now due to load of ideas if what's good to use and what not. Im into echeveria types and our terrace receives 2 hours of sunlight only in the afternoon which opted me to use GL. At the moment, im using LED T5 6500k and considering to use lamp light LED chips - 39 red; 21 blue, wavelength - 620nm; blue 460nm, luminous flux - 1500lm for an area of 40"x120". Would be glad to receive your insight and recommendation. Thanks much!
You should become an amazon affiliate so you can link the supplies you use and link them so you earn a commission for using your links at no extra cost to us?
It also clears up the confusion looking for what you use and makes it so we don’t have to search for it because we plant people can be lazyasses outside the plant room. Also please consider link to amazons US site as well as your Canadian subbies. :) xoxo
I come for succulent facts but I stayed for Thang’s personality

I don't need timers anymore, my dog tells me when its time to turn the lights on and off, barks if I don't get to it right away

Oh no, I’ve turned my succulents into meth heads! I better start using the timer function on the grow lights, yikes!
