What happens when your show is so popular and outspoken that you get taken off air? How come this has happened in a so-called democracy which should tolerate different opinions? That's what happened to Dr Huang Chih-Hsien whose popular political theory show was taken off air in 2019 because of her stanch support for Taiwan to be reunited with the mainland. What have the local authorities been doing to take the island away from China? Why is Taiwan "a watchdog for the U.S. who brings his own food" in Dr Huang’s words？Here's the conversation.

If you wanna find facts and evidence, you can easily find tons of local reports and compare them with other out-of-the-country media, but do you know the Chinese language well enough?

I lived in Taipei for a year; don't like it at all as it was ruled by KMT then and it was messy, cluster-f*cked, untidy, noisy and dirty. I didn't like the politics either when I judged the attitude of taiwan ren. Back in those days, they were already tripod-ing the yanks and that to me, was inferior and disgusting. We are Chinese, we don't have to carry anyone's genitals. We are the oldest continuous ongoing living civilization on earth. Just to digress a little, I admire Chinese ancient palaces and ancient dwellings. They are so beautiful in these present day and age, their genius architecture transcends thousands of years in their beauty. Which race can lay a claim to this?

Eh from Canada, Not everyone believes that Taiwan should separate. We had the same problem in Canada with a province that is mostly french. We even had France saying they would recognize Quebec as it's own country when they split from the rest of the country. It was resolved with a refferandom vote . Yes was to leave and no was not to leave. There was many people from across the country that went to that province to show support for the people as a nation. When the province voted it was no that won. BT WHO WAS France to stick their nose in Canadian business. So don't believe that nobody here don't feel you. I certainly do. When I saw the news that Quebec government is forcing everyone to only speak French, I was shocked, because Canada is known to the world to have 2 official languages and it should be the freedom of individual to choose which language they prefer to learn and speak since either one is recognized as official language, not by force. When I went to Quebec city the first time, the Francophone were ignoring me on the street because I asked question in English, that is just not right, if they only want speak French, they can go back to France. Same with Taiwan, they want independence and build a new country, that is totally fine with me, but the island belongs to China regardless which one is “legit” if one wishes to argue, those who want start a new country can be like Israel.

Quebec has had a provincial work permit to get a job there. And if they catch u working without one u will be arrested. And they get a provincial permit to fill the list and come to Ontario to work creating a shortage of workers there so those that stayed in Quebec receive a higher wage do to the shortage of workers in that trade. I am close to 60 yrs old so it don't bother me anymore. I am semi-retired. If you are in China is there a permit needed to work in another province ? Basically that is the real status of Taiwan anyway. The way I have always understood it.
The problem with Canada is Canada was found by French colonial and British colonial invaders and Chinese has been living in their country for thousands and thousands of years. They can't just afford a part of their land go based on a few separatists votes. Would US let Texas, Caledonia or ant others state to vote themselves out of Union? I don't think so.

US wanted to own TSMC but that company of Morris Chang will soon collapsed as the moor's law will met it's limit soon. China on the otherhand was developing new generation chips which will replace the moor's law. Taiwan economy will collapsed once Chinese people banned exporting products to Taiwan. She has not been suppressed. The likely explanation is that advertisers would not advertise on her show due to the controversial nature of her opinions. No business has a duty to lose money in order to uphold one person's claim to exert their free speech on a specific platform.
