I love ink reviews with different nibs. You get a better review. Thank you so much!

Kon-Peki May be my favorite ink. There is some close competition, but it is always so pleasing and so well behaved. Thanks for these inkplorations Kathy! Pilot Lover!

Thanks Doug! These inksplorations have reafirmed (if there was ever any doubt)...I am unapologetically a Pilot fan girl! 😉

I love all of the Iroshizuku inks but the Kon-Peki is one of my top favorites!

Kon-peki is one of those inks that it seems like everyone has in their collection. It is such a pleasing color.

Great video, Mrs. Kathy! As a self professed “blue addict”, you know I have this ink in my arsenal haha. I absolutely love it. Kon Peki, Diamine Blue Velvet, and Monteverde Horizon Blue are probably my 3 favorite blues. You know, Iroshizuku Asa-Gao is pretty awesome too. Truth be told though, lately everything is my favorite 😂 I’m sure you can tell!! Have a good weekend, ma’am. PS- I love Diamine Oxford Blue as well. However, as a blue black that opens a whole new can of worms regarding favorites....heck, I guess I love them all😎

It's true! Rarely do I try an ink and not love it. Have a great Sunday ShadowHawk!

I love Kon Peki ! I believe that the medium nib reveals its qualities, the Fine and extra fine nibs end up a little flat in colour. The Nemosine nib is great too !

I'm discovering that this is true for most inks. That's one of the reasons I like the Custom 74 so much...it adds a little color variation to my writing even though it's a fine nib. At first I didn't like that it wrote differently than a steel fine nib, but now I enjoy them both.

@@gadgetstop321 yes ! This is true about custom 74, which I also love too ! I think its nib is as soft as it needs to do that (in a different way that the soft fine nib of 3776 does)

OK; I'm probably the only one in the fountain pen community who has not owned, or even tried this ink! But, I will now, because I just received a sample vial yesterday as part of an Iroshizuku "sample pack" ... talk about good timing! Looking at it here though, kinda reminds of Noodler's Liberty Elysium and Moteverede's Capri ... two very vibrant blues, too!

You're not the only one Dave. A few weeks ago on the Anderson Pens podcast, Brian Anderson said he was trying Kon-peki for the first time. I've never tried any of the Noodler's inks...but they're on my list.

My first ever ink I bought and a 580 Twisbi in Prussian Blue. What do you like? I have Extra Fine and Medium. The Medium nibs seem a little more flexible if you push lightly. Will be my favorite ink lol especially the color gradients
