Great Stuff Heidi. Through experience, I have come to believe that gardeners really need reliability, toughness, and performance from what they plant, so I love proven winners. I also think gardening encourages people to take an interest in ecology, which I have a passion for. My theory is that people will start with petunias and often will graduate to nativars and regular native plants to promote pollinators, etc. You are doing important work, Thank you. I wish more cities and homeowners would use PW as a resource.🙂🙂❤️❤️💯💯
Proven Winners is a great resource but there are many plant companies that represent other brands that can also be good resources. So many options out there.

Hey Heidi, How about a nice long video highlighting various shrubs??? Not so much the hydrangeas as they already get tons of coverage. But I'd love to see some great shrub stats & details for sun and shade. Love these types of videos that you have been doing! Very helpful & informative!!! Keep them coming!!!!! ❤
Jazzberry is such an amazing vista. I've grown them the last 2 summers with silverberry and royal velvet. That combo is stunning. I'll be planting them again this year.

I think I need to plant more hydrengas in my yard this year. I have two in my yard but they aren’t really the ones that I like.

Wine and spirits doesn't seem to be an appropriate name for a white flowering shrub. Sounds magenta.
It think the wine is the foliage and the spirits is the white flower.
