Is this a known issue on the kuga, I.e does the oil change light come on when it shouldn't or doesn't need an oil change? If not why are people not taking it in for an oil change when light comes on.. mine has come on today, its done about 6000 miles since last changed, so seems about right but I am away for Xmas so will only do 300 miles this month, so it can wait until Jan, hence checking for tips to clear message short term.

I couldn’t get this to work to save my life.
Maybe it’s me but I’m sure the video only applies to a regular Kuga and mine is a 2016 Kuga 1.5 Ecoboost with the stop/ start feature.
