i have the same bag in dusty pink and was really surprised how versatile and enjoyable to wear it was... esp the shoulder/belt bag way - no wear or rubbing against the leather! and for some reason it doesn't look too dated... some of the bigger sizes do now imo. the red looks so good on you :)

BUT… if you purchase an alternative strap from Amazon that’s a bit shorter it could 💯 work!!! I also linked some straps I’ve personally purchased from Amazon in the description if you’re interested! I did see from other reviews that it fits an iPhone max, but I don’t know if it will fit one with a case. Just to let you know, if you put a phone in the bag, it will take up a majority of the space. Q: with the chain adjusted criss-cross, does the inside of the leather part rub or leave marks when it's full of stuff? It can be heavy when it is full of stuff and the chain can rub against the inside leather which can leave marks or damage the bag. I am thinking of getting this bag and answering this question would help, thanks. Btw, same here it took me this long to consider getting it when it's $400 more.

I honestly had the same concerns as you and tried to find videos addressing this issue… as far as my bag, I have not seen any damage done to the flap of the bag due to the chain rubbing on it and I’ve worn this bag a lot (so far!) I imagine if you stuff it and carry heavy things, it may show wear and tear quickly … hope this helps! I still highly recommend this bag! It is such a cute, but functional bag!!!
