- ATL SLC: A beautiful evening in northern Utah as we approached the Salt Lake City Airport. As a Utah native, I never get sick of the mountains. Right from the start of the video, we flew over my family house that sits on the bench of the mountains, it was a nice welcome home moment.
It will be interesting to see the airport development over the next few years as the new terminal is well on it's way. It will be a great thing for the Delta hub here.
The Delta A321s are a solid product. I'm more of a Boeing guy but I was pleased. Even being in the back, legroom was good and the noise level was also lower than I had imagined. Good service as well on this flight but also bumpy the whole way through.

One of my favourite cities in the world! The first place in the US I flew to from my home city of London UK. Utah is a wonderful state and I have travelled through much of it. I have family in SLC, Provo, Vernal and St George (though I fly to Las vegas when I visit St George as it is closer). Can't wait to go back!
The Beach Boys liked it so much they made a song about it.

BIG Like for the stunning views on approach and this unique landscape!
I always love flying over my home in Provo on the way to SLC and seeing the mountains, especially Timpanogos! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank-you for the video. I had to laugh when I read you were a native of Utah. Ever since I started watching your videos, I thought you were from Switzerland. Consequently, I did my best to use proper English and say away from jargon as well as detail aspects of the US. Well, I'm glad I know better now, but it is still funny to me.
Indeed, our high desert country has a beauty all its own, and I thoroughly enjoy viewing it. That was a nice zoom on the city, and I was able to spot the Salt Lake Temple in the midst of the buildings.
Thank-you again for the video. The next time I comment I will relax my American English with you.
If you like the outdoors, this is the place. Locals will get my pun.
Welcome back! So fun seeing the scenery here from up high. I'm just 10 minutes from the driveway to the terminal. Which part of Utah are you from?
I'm moving to Utah in a couple of months. I suspect SLC Airport and I will be come very acquainted soon.
Yes, and it's rapidly changing so don't get use to hat you'll see on arrival. :) Utah is a great place to live
Spectacular video!
Those are some huge mountains!
Rocky too...
@@possiblepilotdeviation5791 they are part of the Rockies.
@@jameswest8280 yes, and the Rockies are great. And those mountains to the right during this descent is one of the most beautiful mountain scenery south of the Canadian border. I think that the mountains of Banff and Jasper national parks, and Northern Rocky Mountain provincial park are some of the most beautiful breathtaking mountains and scenery there is
Excellent Video my friend. Big Like
