Followed your directions and it saved me a whole bunch of time since I was originally going to take the fog lights out. Thank you! It really is as easy as shown.
After watching your video, I’m going to give these another try using your method. I tried once already, but there was just too much material to fit over the light and not look like garbage. Maybe I got a bad one or maybe it was my method. Either way I’m going to give it another go. Thanks!!
So the color of yellow fogs help with visibility better than the factory clear white light fogs? What about the chance of overheating the lens / bulb with the covering?
In certain conditions, yes. I have these on everyday and have not had an issue I don't see why it would be as heat dissipation shouldn't really take place from the lens or the covering
Only problem is reduction of output which isn't helpful when you need to see things at distance. So, while changing the look isn't expensive, it definitely comes at a cost.
I was hoping to do 3 things with these. 1. Change the look of the front of the vehicle to something a bit more custom and aesthetic. That was accomplished. 2. Protect the lens from rock chips, especially when highway driving here or off-roading in the desert. That was accomplished. 3. Possibly have the ability to see better in driving conditions such as dust or fog. I don't know if this will be the case but I suspect it may be. Even though the output may be reduced in clear conditions the question remains will the change in color actually be more beneficial in the conditions mentioned. I don't have the answer to that yet. However, I have lights ready to be installed that are specifically designed for higher output so, #3 on my list was not as important. Thanks for watching and your feedback!
Well, yes and no. It would depend on what you are driving through at the moment. If it is a clear dark night, then it may. If it is a foggy or dusty trail, then it's possible you may actually have proved visibility due to less reflectivity
Diode Dynamics sells replacement bulbs in white or yellow if you need more light they have 3 different brightness levels. These things are like 20 times brighter than OEM. If you have the clear covers on buy the white ones. Will still be 10X plus the brightness.

Great to hear👍
I would think it is too much of a hassle to remove the foglights.😵💫😵🥴
Thanks for showing the install, excited to do mine!
Awesome. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Looks very nice. I wonder how amber would look?
Nicccccce look, thanks for the video... I should've researched before buying Ice blue fog bulbs. I purchased blue film from Lamin-X for my headlights.
Just got done with them on my 4Runner. Looks great and will test them out tonight.
Nice!
Thanks for the video. Love it! Looks so much better.
I appreciate you watching!
Thanks for tips! Worked great.
Absolutely, glad it helped

Was it on a 4Runner?
Just ordered mine thanks!

Just wondering if you can change fog light bulbs to LEDs to increase light output with the yellow tint?
Yes you can
Professional video
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching
You never gave us a definite answer as to the color yellow gave more visibility over the factory clear fogs. Hard to tell a difference on this video.
👍
I don’t see that tool you’re using in the included link

In the case of yellow specifically, less is more in terms of actually visibility in the fog.
yOU mean it actually cuts the visiability down compared to a clear white light from factory?🤔
