- Part 1: • Mountain Biking Porcup...
We started the day with rain, so the shuttle bus wouldn't take us to the very top. Instead we started near the Jimmy Keen singletrack trail and STILL had a great time killing Porcupine Rim.

"Watch out there's a mountain biker behind you!" Awesome. Haha, gotta give each other shit.
Hahaha, gotta bust some balls!
Sick burn :)
Brain -"Permission to get rowdy"
Alex - "Permission granted"
haha that's awesome.
Haha, so fun
Cool you were with Seth
Great collaboration with Seth and Alexander. Thoroughly enjoyed these Moab videos. Cannot wait to see Spain set!
Thanks Bermsky, it was such a great ride!
Thanks for taking us along another epic ride Brian! As pure as it gets!
Thanks man, glad you loved it!
this is cool watching the same trip from 3 different points of view you guys are killing it. Brain I see that you got more confidence with having your tires on the air your bike looks solid bro thanks for posting. keep on riding!
Thanks Nelson, definitely hitting those drops with no problemo!
Watched Alex's vid earlier today. Just saw yours. Love the different angles and perspectives. Seth's crash! Holy shit! His wheel just stopped!
Hahaha, dead stop into a Superman. I love seeing the different perspectives too!
Truly looks like a very special place. I cant wait to visit and try it on for size as well. You were dropping the gnar like a madman! I loved the interplay between you, Alex and Seth. Good times out on the trail - pretty tough to beat and you captured that yet again. Another great ride and another great video - keep em coming!
Hahaha thanks dude! Following Alex and Seth brought my skills up a level and I starting getting comfortable on the drops.
This video is responsible for getting all my friends into mountain biking. They all bought bikes a day after watching this, so thank you!
No way!! That is so damn cool.
BKXC I made them all subscribe as well ✊🏽
You are the reason I started Mount biking
*Seth and Alex walking a section*
Brian: "Watch out guys, there's a mountain biker behind you!"
The video from you three from this ride was pretty damn awesome, do appreciate the little break for the scenic view also for us that are on our couches, and can't make it to soak it all in.
So much fun! Glad you enjoyed it
By far my favourite mtb content provider! Keep it up bud!
Thanks Theo! Glad you're loving it!
I rode this trail many moons ago on a rigid single speed. oh yeah!
Hahaha, that's fantastic!
after watching all your individual edits this is one of the most epic looking places to ride
Thanks man! It WAS epic!
In my opinion you three make a badass team when it comes to riding videos. Even better than individually.
Great stuff man!
looking forward to seeing you
and Big Alex and Seth doing your thing. Happy Trails
Thanks bud!
Awesome clip BK. looks like you nearly came undone by the wet, off camber rocks...about 6 mins into the clip. I have a trip booked to Utah next year so can't wait to trace your trails.
Hey Glitchy! Utah is definitely an awesome destination, you'll love it. Your channel was an inspiration for me, as you actually showed what trails you were riding with maps and descriptions. Shoot me an email bk@bk-xc.com when you get to America and maybe we can ride together!
What can I say ??? You have been blessed to breath and taste all those incredible trails . Cheers . Safe rides 💥🤘🏼🚵🏻🙏
Thanks man, it was a blessed day!
I rode this a couple weeks ago and you just can't wipe that smile of your face!
I hear that!
Watching these Moab videos makes me want to be a better rider so that I can ride that some day!
My job is done!
I subscribed to all three of you dudes so it's awesome seeing three different angles of the same trail. I think you guys should do more colabs.
Definitely!
looks like watching Alex is getting you pulling those tires off the ground a lot more. keep the great vids coming
Bad influence! Thanks man
Dude you're getting seriously fit now. Wouldn't it be cool if you entered some races and posted the footage?
Yeah that would be great! Battery only lasts 45 minutes so it'd be tough to figure out
Plug it into one of those little 5000mah portable batteries. That should give you plenty of power...but you'd have to find somewhere to put it and deal with the cord.
Yeah, I like that idea!
Right as you got closer and said look at these guys walking up the mountain I saw Seth and I was like oh Seth with that low endurance!
It's wet, cold and miserable hear in the UK. But this put a smile on my face, thank you!
Awesome, I'm doing my job!
Excellent video man! Really enjoying all of them. You guys are a blast to watch!
Welcome aboard, dude! Glad you're digging them!
Dang! Alternate lines for days. That looked like an absolute blast.
Choose your own adventure! It was a blast and a half!
Holy moly. Talk about being on the edge of my seat while watching this. Must have made your heartrate spike at points :D Excellent video as always.
Hahaha, thanks Tomas! Such a great day.
Okay. Cool...for a new bike, you push it on the edge...i see your motivation for MTB is big. Good going
Thanks so much!
Looks like the Bronson is doing well. Pretty quiet bike. Epic vid!
Yeah it's been a dream!
Seth’s fall on the last testing section hectic!
I love it when it's rainy in the mountains and desert, it looks so majestic. I love Utah, wish I could move back.
Yeah this was a majestic day!
Sick ride. You got me saving up for a gimbal, great video.
Thanks man. The gimbal is a game changer!
You really let it rip on this one, can tell you were in the flow zone! Awesome vid, makes me want to do a Moab trip.
Serious rippage going down! Thanks man
Great ride and cool to see the brotherhood of MTB'ing in action. BTW, awesome line choices!!
Thanks man, this was one for the ages!
Seth did the Kyle Mears line on that last rock climb! And with wet rocks. Very cool.
Yes! In Seth's video he uses me saying "I saw it in a video" and it must have been Nate Hills riding with Kyle Mears.
Another epic ride. I am glad Seth bailed and didn't eat it down that down.
Hahaha yep!
That wider open almost free ride section is what dreams are made of
Pretty damn cool!
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, So rad to watch a bunch of cool dudes going back in time, seem like I was watching three teenager buddies ripping it up and "LIVING LIFE LOUD"!!!!! Keep the videos coming, they are all getting better and better.
Hahaha yep, YOLO. Thanks so much, Ryan.
U deserve way more subs best MTB channel out there!! Thx so much for getting me back into MTBING!!!
My pleasure!
Great stuff, as always, man. At around 6:15 I found myself actually leaning to the left in my chair lol. Awesome ride!
Hahah Squirming indeed!
this guy riding a trail that looks just amazing and i sit here in my office, bikeparks closing and its fucking cold. goddamn
LOVE cleaning a section that your buddies are walking up (or down)!
Hahaha, it's the best, isn't it?
hats off for riding some of those wet rocks with a shear drop on the right, it even looked sketchy on the laptop screen! hahaha
Definitely some crazy stuff, Paul!
Your videos never disappoint great work mate.
Thanks Scott!
Freaking Epic ride! You guys had soo much fun! Great ride Brotha!
Thanks Edd! This was one of the best. They just keep getting better!
so how bad was the traction where the rock was visibly wet? what tires and psi? fkn gnarly all in all, another super epic video. Wouldn't mind seeing more rides like this, and Im sure you wouldn't mind riding more trails like this. kickass content brian.
Moab rock grips like sandpaper and it wasn't bad wet. I just added my tires to the description. 30 psi.
And thanks dude!
great ride, looks amazing, now having to wait until Friday's ride🤘
Yeah buddy! Slickrock on Friday.
Best video yet, Brian.. you guys were friggn shredding on one of the most epic trails ever..sweet! A word of advice, though..try having a little more fun, will ya? ;)
Hahaha thanks Manny!!
Looks like so much fun!
One of those get your line and hold on trails.
Thanks man, that's a damn good way to put it!
Bucket list ride for me! Probably be a few years though, once I get a beefier bike that can actually stop me, lol ;)
a hell of a ride! although I'm from Greece this trail just been added on my list
Sweeet! It doesn't disappoint
Loving your stuff man keep it up!! Can't wait for your stuff from Spain
Thanks dude, glad you're enjoying it!
great video you 3 make a super team that's what ridding is all about keep it coming
Such a great team! Thanks man
Such an awesome video and the weather looked nice and cool. Damn I love Porky
Pretty rowdy! Awesome video. Going do fast through the gnar!
Hahaha, I've been saying "rowdy" a lot here in Spain and the guides are saying it now.
you guys are the craziest group of riders ever what if you fall off the cliff!!!!!!😭😭😭😭
Haha, we're professionals, don't worry!
loving the bud rides! good stuff
Thanks dude!
Holy crap that was an awesome video! you guys we're getting so close to the edge of that cliff hauling ass! I was sitting 2 feet away from my 42in flat screen TV! And with your GoPro mounted to your chest it's almost like being there! and when you got real close to the edge of a cliff going that fast I almost had a heart attack I was like.. NOOOOOOOOO😬.. LOL😂😂😂😂
It's a fun one!!
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Off camber slippery rock on top of a canyon! Scary!
Glad you liked it!
Man you guys were tearing down that mountain!
Yeah buddy!
Most awesome descent ever. "Permission to get rowdy" hahaha yeah!!
Hahah thanks Rob
Ive had that same OTB situation happen to me twice on my 26. Has to be the most frustrating thing ever. Never happened on the 29er tho.
Haha yep, makes sense that just that extra bit would roll it
Great video, definitely one I need to come visit!
Do it!
That was Sick! how much of that trail did you actually have to pedal up?It was like the never ending downhill. Giggling all the way down. Awesome Vids.
Cheers BK
There were a few spots of climbing, my Strava is in the trail guide link. Thanks man!
Impressive ride.....
Thanks Jose, it was a great one!
I feel like Santa Cruz owes you at least a sticker pack. I have been in love with the Bronson since discovering it on your channel. My V3 is set to arrive at my local shop any day. Thanks for the inspiration.
So sick, quite technical track huh? Put on hard test that DVO, looks like you improving so much! One question do you still use SPD pedals on this kind of terrain or went flats?
Thanks so much, dude! Yep, always riding clipped in!
Ich bin immer noch total geflasht von diesen beiden Videos! Da muss ich auf jeden Fall mal hin.
So geil!!!
Danke Frank!
Such a good video, had to watch it more than twice lol
Haha, thanks Nico, that's the measure of an epic ride!
Neither you nor Seth had on knee pads, you guys are ballsy! However, that wet dirt looks so tacky and fun to ride, MOAB has officially been added to my bucket-list...
Definitely a bucket list destination!!
Here's the funny thing. I never used to ride pads and I rode all kinds of gnarly shit. Now I do after a couple of hard crashes, but I find when I wear the pads I actually ride slower than I did without. It's like subconsciously I am expecting gnar so ride more cautiously. Go figure!
Haha, that's pretty interesting!
Awesome ride! What is your opinion on flat pedals? Could you maybe make a video explaining the pros/cons? Much love, and keep up the godly videos!
I like being one with the bike and being clipped in. Glad you're enjoying the videos, dude!
BK-XC thanks for the answer! I'm still doubting whether to get flats or clips
Seth and Alexander ride flats and can shred like no other, do what makes you most comfortable!
Thanks!
Those rides look awesome!
Damn awesome!
That was....INSANE! Epic, but INSANE!! On my Bucket list. :)
Hahaha, epic insanity!
How does your bike sound so damn fresh. You must be recycling bikes on the daily or something.
Awesome Porcupine videos! So my gimbal just arrived and I'll be testing out this weekend. One question: which mode do you have it set for?
Thanks man! Never changed the mode, just turned it on!
Sweet! Thanks again...
good stuff, Seth has got some hops 👍
Thanks man! He's a damn fine rider
I'd give up my day job any day to do what yall do!! God bless yas
Yeah well this just gets better and better. Awesome buddy.
Thanks Dean, it was a blast!
This trail is fucking magical!!!
Y'all should make your way to Sedona. It's similar to Moab just smaller and a total blast!
Definitely going to get to Sedona eventually!
DUDE great work! you and seth should come out to Lithia FL and try out ALAFIA STATE PARK!!! trust me you will not be disapointed... riding phosphate mines was never so cool
Thanks man! Alafia might be in my future with the Fat Tire Festival coming up!
ohh you know about rhe fat tire festival!! i live 10 mins from alafia! ftf is on my birthday!! definitely one of the best events all year
Sweet! Hopefully I can make it happen.
that was a sick trail and vid! I have to go now
Yes, definitely GO!
"Once more" the bmx part of Seth comes out again
Hahah yep
Love the vids keep up the good work!! I recently started mountain biking not using my bike right now I'm trying to save up for a dual suspension what would you recommend? And what type of handle bar grips are those?
Thanks man! I suggest a Bronson because that's what I've had the most fun on. I have Wolf Tooth Fat Paw
Seth wear some knee pads :)
Beautiful trail. I'm going!
Nice!
best yet!!! bucket list trail for me! fucking awesome Brian.
Thanks man! This was a blast and a half!
The video did have me leaning to the left once or twice.... good advice lol.
Wonder what would happen if you brought a hardtail
Amazing trail.
Definitely!
Keep on killing it!
Sir yes sir!
Hey Big , Nat' s video's are good butt short. You win2
Great ride bro...
Thanks bud!
For shore, at 6:25 my pulse went up, but what a ride with to friends, smiled all the 10:08.
Hahaha, nice man! Thanks dude
That looked like a slippery trail.
Scary part of the trail begins 5:50.
How long was the total trail? I mean the total trail time. You said 5 hours, thats just day 1 in 2 parts? Is there more coming?
Also did you require to true your wheels after this ride? Trail looked nasty for rims.
on patreon there is 70 minutes of video from this ride. They ride a couple more days together.
Trail guide link in the description for the details. This is it for videos from this ride. But like Brian Vaughn said there are extended cuts on Patreon. Probably should have trued my wheels.
...and re-tighten all your bolts!
Holy moly, I'm definitely tightening everything up tomorrow before our ride. Spain has been super gnarly and shit is breaking on other people's bikes left and right.
This looks unbelievable!!!
It's pretty fun!
watch out moutainbiker behind :D that was good ;)
Hahaha, one of my favorite parts
Truly epic trails!
lol'd when you rode past fella in distress =)
Any you guys make it down under, South Island, New Zealand... you gotta hit me up ^^
Think I'd learn a thing or two following you down the trail ;-)
Serious epicness all day long!
awesmoe video mate!
Thanks bud!
Taking the race line at 1:10 !!! Ya dude!
Yeeee haw!
So sick!
Thanks man!
