My friend was looking at purchasing a house, as per usual she got a building inspection but I was telling them bout what you find in drains, so she organised a plumber with camera to check the drain lines as well. Was well worth the extra cost.👌🏻👍
@jon.bennett yes most definitely would be on my list, have told my kids and friends to find a plumber with camera and check out pipes before you take the big step, so at least you know what your up for if the need arises.👌🏻👍
He got a new Rigid! He is great at problem solving without consulting & limited tools. Love watching him work! Hope he is paid well and has no health issues from these bacteria/virus infested sewage he deals with. All is good! Good job mate!
I hadn't watched Oliver and Ratty work for several months. So i binge-watched from 720 to here. Now i gotta wait. But I enjoyed every video. Thank you brother for your consistency and faith. I very much love the ending.
Tree roots job security 😂😂❤❤. Thanks for the video of blocked drain cleaning AU nicely done Ollie ❤❤it. Take care of yourself and family and friends and be Blessed ❤️👍.
Ollie you just keep on fixing peoples drain problems, sometimes caused by them, mostly nature.great video as always.shows your dedication to cleaning up Sydney, one drain a time.great video just continue doing what you do best.be safe.👍👍👍😎😎😎
love the gurgle indicating you’ve ’popped ‘ it then the sound of the weapon of choice in a cleared drain. then the camera reveals the devastation. Bugger !!
The local council were working out the front of my house the past 3 days, clearing tree roots from the main storm water drains. I went and had a chat to them and checked out their gear. High pressure water jetting of course, but also a big circular saw blade for cutting out big tree roots from inside the drains. Apparently the line was completely blocked. They pointed at the massive tree by the road directly outside my house and said "that tree is the problem". I'd bought myself a camera kit a few weeks ago, so I inspected my drain where it meets the mains. Damn. ROOTS! They look pretty large too, so I am not sure I will be able to clear them myself. The roots have crushed and busted the PVC pipe too, so it might mean a dig-up. Estimate about 1m deep. Weird thing is, I feel a bit of excitement about the idea. Drain clearing in-real-life.
Big fan of your videos from your early short Plumbing Tutorials, So yonks lol. I am from England! I still have my Ratty Tee shirt, Explaining the Corn is Hilarious👍🏻! Take care of your back mate! All Good! Conrad.
Ollie very good job u are very Thorough on cleaning up plus showing the customer the problem and what needs to be fixed. I enjoy the video keep safe god bless 👍👍👍👍👍👍🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀
Ollie, you are more than a glorified toilet cleaner. You are doing God’s will! You love and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you show that at the end of your videos. You bring a smile and joy to a job most people will not do. Keep up the good work and stay focused on Jesus. Jesus is God in the flesh, born of a virgin, died on the cross paying our sin debt in full and rose from the grave, conquering death and Is seated at the right hand of The Father. If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raise Him from the grave, you will be saved. Jesus is Lord!!! Be strong brother! Can’t wait to meet you someday.
Ok Im a plumber ill never ask you to set my toilet lol but nice work on finding that disaster of a break schedule 80 pvc would never have broken like that .
When looking to buy a house, looking to see if there are ANY trees or a lot of bushes near ANY drain lines would be on my list, along with a camera inspection, and I will give Ollie credit for that.
Ollie when you got the first piece of pipe no problem I thought nice a straightforward job. Then when you saw the second piece I was like ahhh typical lol. Great job!!!
When are people going to realise tradesmen especially plummers need room to get to the problem.shift your stuff out of the room . Had my fingers crossed when you had the first broken bit on the hunter and collector THEN there was a second bit. Great job Ollie .
You don't need luck to help you Ollie-you have something far better: How blessed is he whose *"help"* is the God of Jacob" [Psalm 146 v5a] "We know that *God causes all things* to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" [Romans 8 v28] Historically Christians have celebrated the reality that God sovereignly works *"all things* according to the counsel of His will" [Eph 1 v11]-even the mundane things. Great job doing everything possible to help your customers-something clearly evident in each video. As always a 👍 God bless.
@@helenfitch3440 it depends how often you have a plumber out to fix and how much that costs, but eventualy your paying more than it would of cost to fix in the first place
Big Trees and Roots are Nothing but Trouble around Plumbing Pipes. They will cause Problems and they could have been Avoided by Not having Tree by Bathroom.
Block Drain, You give the Toilet on the Side, and beginning the clear with the Presswater and great Nozzle. Near to hear You what the Drain say. Camera Picture, Roots break Drain and Fragment. You magician the break Position, clear the Room and setting up the Toilet. But the Drain is to repair.. 💪👍👌
Quick question Ollie why do you drill into the back of the toilets when you can remove them like this. I'm not questioning the methods I am just curious
Ollie I have a question, so I emptied my septic tank because it was full, and I discovered almost 1/3 of it was full of caucus( sorry I don't to write this, but it's those solid formations from grease and etcetera). Do you recommend any chemical that I can put inside to melt it or something like that?
There is a chemical enzyme that works on grease, it is call (Grease Release). But maybe you need to install a grease trap on the kitchen line so that the grease doesn't make it into the septic.
You deserve an extra $150 US Dollars for retrieving those pieces of plastic pipe with your bare arm. I would fabricating in place a tool or tools to retrieve those pieces
Bonjour dommage qu’il n’y ai pas de sous-titres en français mais je vous souhaite une excellente journée et attention aux tour de rein,il faut mettre une ceinture de sécurité ça fait du bien au dos

Wise decision. I’d do the same now. Even a new house after seeing some of these vids.
@jon.bennett yes most definitely would be on my list, have told my kids and friends to find a plumber with camera and check out pipes before you take the big step, so at least you know what your up for if the need arises.👌🏻👍

Unlike this drain, DA never buckles under pressure. Best channel on UA-cam! Cheers from South Florida.
Bad news for the homeowner. Good job Ollie. You have a way with removing objects from pipe. 😊
It's amazing the extent of damage roots can do to everything.
Hey Ollie! Nice job, as usual! I’m such a fan of the channel! Cheers mate!🌮
I don't know why Australia doesn't have a Drain Addict Day, this gut is the best at what he does, Sir Drain Addict, all good indeed. .....

Interesting drain systems in Australia, up here in Ontario Canada everything has to be so protected from frost

I've said it before and I'll say it again! I look forward to your episodes, Ollie! Thanks again!
Busted pipes are never fun, great work Ollie, all good mate 👍
I always thought it was the animals of Australia that would do the most damage, but it turns out it's the trees!

Ok Im a plumber ill never ask you to set my toilet lol but nice work on finding that disaster of a break schedule 80 pvc would never have broken like that .

You were spot on with it being roots. The stump and roots need to be pulled out and the pipe replaced
Better a new video then not, they say. Thanks Ollie!
When looking to buy a house, looking to see if there are ANY trees or a lot of bushes near ANY drain lines would be on my list, along with a camera inspection, and I will give Ollie credit for that.
Well done sir ❤❤❤❤

Talk about fishing skills.
Nice retrieve on both parts. Here in the USA, we bolt our toilets down, like how you guys do them easy access. Brian from Tampa FL USA
I like how you blocked the door to keep guy from staring while you work 😅
i seriously respect what you do, cause i know even if it was my job id never go near toilet wata.
Another blocked drain dealt with by the one and only Ollie drain addict
Good job ollie !!💪💪💪
another great job ,fantastic work very thorough
Always a great feeling seeing a DA video notification, I always think 'ALL GOOD' 👍
Another great video mate, thanks for posting. You just know they're not gonna do anything about that they'll call you back again and again
All Good Mate. Would like to see update on the fix 👍
We all wished you LUCK. ALL GOOOD
I have never seen air slots on a bathtub. Why are they there?
I think the ac or heat ducts r under the tub thats why there is vents in the side of the tub. Think the tub used to b where the shower is now.
That it's been done several times before I doubt they are going to fix it properly now
I would hate to foot the bill. Unless insurance came to the party.
@@helenfitch3440 it depends how often you have a plumber out to fix and how much that costs, but eventualy your paying more than it would of cost to fix in the first place
How do they keep the toilet from rocking when it is not bolted to the floor like here in the U.S.
Il fait du très bon travail 🎉
Almost got a tree growing in that pipe, only ever seen Eucalyptus and Sycamore here do that before
I'm stay awake just to watch Block Drain video... 😂😂🎉🎉❤❤
What happened to the double barrel?
Morning Drain Weaver👍and Baby Rat🐭
Morning!👍🐀
Good job mate
@ 17:50 that is the first tub I have seen with vent in the side / interesting ?
Wow that shows the power of the roots pressing in over the years! All Good (for now) 👍!
Won’t lie, I looked away when Ollie was tipping that toilet as I was sure he was going to get a brown friend out of that bowl wink at him😂
We love Baby Rat!!!😃
Does anyone know what body cam system he uses?
@SayHi_ I believe it is a GoPro. Not sure which one.
Awesome job as usual you can’t be beat
ollie!!!!!! the drains fear ur presence cause u always win
I’ll never look at corn the same way again.
😂😂😂😂 I don't eat corn for that exact reason. I might need a plumber sometime and he'll find it.

That must be a high performance bathtub - it's got speed holes on the side!
Yes another video. Thanks Ollie and Baby Rat.🙏

891... I can't believe how close we are to 900 episodes of Drain Addict.
And they are all as good as each other.
Quick question Ollie why do you drill into the back of the toilets when you can remove them like this. I'm not questioning the methods I am just curious
Most of the time there toilets r concreted in so u cant remove them this easily. Thats why he drills.
I hope you bought lottery tickets after this job.
What kind of flashlight fo you use, very good quality
Great job once more. Glad to hear baby Rat got his voice back. Will Ratty ever return?
