I really enjoyed this tour, I liked he was keeping it interesting and moving, one tree after another. I'm glad you wasn't stopping and allow him to talk about trees.
Great video Paul. This was really nice to see. I bet his mango collection is going to increase over the years, but I really appreciate his banana 🍌 collection.
Mina the Mango man! Super nice kid, knows his mangos! He was up here in Deland with The Reid Farm for the local channel news to cover the insane weight of mangoes he moves every week during season! You should meet Mina!
That's nice Paul, thanks. Out of the different fruit I have ever tried mango is by far my favorite, I did taste one variety that I didn't like very well. What sort of music is that on the intro and outro of your videos Mexican fiesta music?
The papayas he has from Hawaii are GMO varieties and can cause the papayas around him to turn into gmo papaya through cross pollination. I had them; ordered them from Maui seeds and didn’t realize they were gmo until I had 2 grown trees and gave many to friends. Had to throw them all out. Could eventually cause all papayas to become gmo.
@@williamsmith9815 there was variety bred in Hawaii to resist a disease that took over their papaya population. They genetically modified their papas to resist a disease so most of the papaya in Hawaii is GMO. There is specific varieties you have to look out for such as sunshine, sun up, strawberry, Waimanalo. And there’s more that’s all I can think of
If the pollen from the GMO plant is used to pollinate a regular papaya plant, the fruit that grows on that plant will have GMO seeds and it spreads that way. So it’s good to get rid of all of the GMO plants you can..
We could possibly get that impression bc this was filmed in winter when a lot of trees are dormant and don’t have as much foliage I think. Also, he doesn’t remove the dried leaves off of banana plants, so that makes plants look sickly, but they’re not.

How could he not love papaya? It’s such a wholesome fruit! It deserves a love if you asked me! 😊
The papayas I have tried locally have a very weird used sock smell. It might be the local varieties, but I totally understand him.
I agree, papaya's can have a "funky" smell and taste @@unpopuIaropinion
He had papaya, I didn't film 100% of his amazing trees for time reasons
Great video Paul.

That's a beautiful farm
This was a really cool tour! Awesome
Property
Thanks Rafael, thanks Paul. Fun tour.
Looks at the positives bro.
Organic Fungicide: clove oil
So many amazing trees 👍👍
Love this. What does he do for sooty mold? Spray, with what specifically?
Great video. I like the long tours.
If all land owners are like this guys no body gets hungry..

Where can I order his bananas?
I have to remove Queen palms from my cabbage garden!
Going Bananas nursery - have to visit to get some bananas
Amazing farm
Great video! How could I contact the owner? I would love to buy a plant of his preferred plantain tree if he sells them.
I planted a Francis Hargrave mango tree, last year
I also wash my orange tree here in CA.
Wow, what did you think of the tropical ficus auriculata fruit flavor?
really interesting, not really as sweet as figs but big and beautiful

Salsa Island music
This Oro Negro avocado is also large and round
is it Florida's Nabal avocado?
Thanks
I have that rollinia but it has black on the leaves, is that sooty mold? What can I do for it
I’d love to find a striped banana tree?
I have been trying to find a Frances Hargrave! Impossible to attain, nobody even knows what it is!!!
I think Truly Tropical Has them
Bananas fruit better when you clean off the dried leaves from the trees

How can you tell the difference between gmo to non gmo?
@@williamsmith9815 the two varieties he mentioned were bred in Hawaii to fight the disease that took over their papaya population. They are gmo
@@williamsmith9815 rainbow, strawberry, sunrise, sunup and wamainalo are the gmo varieties I can think of

I think his dragon fruit is getting too much sun and that’s the issues he’s having, maybe put a shade over the top
Same thing with his figs…too much sun/heat. Use a sun shade.
@@scottburgle4889 good to know thanks
He has another video of he green house with Figs, really amazing
In the south late afternoon shade is essential.
Don’t let too much grass grow around the trunk
Is it just me or did a lot of his trees look like they were sick or dying.

Shorter videos would be much appreciated....
I was going to ask him for a 3 hr video. I actually prefer longer videos.
I try to do a good mix of shorter and longer. Thank you for telling me what you like
Long videos- more info- great job Paul
@@FruitfulTreesPaul I love watching ALL your videos! Awesome job!
