It's sad too because the Labrynth pack is actually more or less fine in sealed. It's just that for one reason or another, Doug and Nadir have had a really lucky set of openings for the first three episodes.
Honestly the three player series is probably a good idea. That way you get at least 1 even-ish matchup between decks, if someone is pulling ahead or doing really badly.
In gages defence, I think going for risky pack in a long project such as master saga might actually be the play. If one hits you just get a ton of free wins!
@furiousxXxpyro you'd think that but what do you hit in labyrinth? A welcome? Then go into what labyrinth archfeind? If you dont get any of the girls you can't really use the rest of the lab cards unless you want to do like furniture control but at that point your better off getting into any other pack for a more powerful low rarity engine. Also the traps in the set are not good for activating the furniture. This is the most bait pack ever created and also you have a huge chance of pulling destiny board cards which although funny are very bad
Oh my god, yes, I love Wynn. I would die for Sky Striker Ace Wynn. This Harpie Speedroid filled graveyard is going to change my life and be the best matchup ever.
Borrelend is definitely still crazy by limited standards, but it's also surprisingly frail in a world where people are playing jelly cannon and memory of an adversary.
@Xero-rr2ol Yeah, my point was that it is less crazy when you are forced to play spells and traps. They were freaking out about having no kaijus because that's the out they need in constructed, but in limited they have a lot more to deal with it.
@@kashiffarees881 Yeah plus its rare for a deck to have that many free material, by that point you are either just winning already and he becomes a win more card, are memeing like farfa did and making your board objectively worse, or you just pulled some insane strat that spams the field and probably would win even without it
Nyhmnim going straight into the Labrynth tunnel was painful! I mean he had so much strong other packs and got gaslit by Lab... Excellent episode this week the 3 round robin is actually pretty good
I'm gonna defend Gage on this one and say that the Labrynth pack, given his options, was likely the best choice he could have made. His opening was just objectively terrible meanwhile Doug and Nadir have been opening well above average (Nadir more so). To go over what I can see in the video: - Yearning Evil Body: A rank 4 strategy where the rank 4s are all URs except 2 which are SR and very meh. - Savage Crimson Dragon: I don't think I need to explain why this pack is terrible in sealed. - The Hidden Arts: Ninjas but not the structure deck. Cool. It's bad. - Warriors Unite: Amazons and War Rocks lol. These can't even win in constructed. - Orcust: Banned pack - Eldlich: Banned pack - Labrynth: Trap card synergy and last episode he opened a trap card oriented pack. Idk why people are trying to say Gage got baited by the Labyrnth pack. It was his only real option. If we look at Savage Crimson dragon we quickly realize unless you pull specific URs this deck pretty much just spins it's wheels and does nothing. It also has no synergy with his previous pack choice whatsoever. Granted almost nothing does and he shouldn't have picked that last episode.
We went from Doug's harpie deck showcase to Farfa just being a menace. Season 5's off to a great start. Also I love twitch chat: "Gage should be allowed to side deck." "Side deck what? He doesn't have any good cards."
Can't wait for next week when gage opens another famously top heavy pack. I'm thinking gravekeeper. The allure of necrovalley will be irresistible. Especially since he early pulled that spell this week.
TOOOOOONNNSSSS Seeing Toons being even slightly considered made me so happy. They're my favorite archetype. They're incredibly fun and hard to deal with, if the opponent has little or low backrow removal.. but they're EXTREMELY high rarity if you want it to be good. Nearly every card that's good is SR or higher, and if you don't get Toon Kingdom you might as well not play them. However, with Kingdom they basically can't be destroyed at all and if you get Toon Bookmark, your Toon Kingdom has destruction protection.
People sleeping on War Rocks for this style of Format. War Rocks have 3 easy to summon lv4's that swing above 200-1000 attack on top of their 1700/1800/1900 attack. Then go into some cheeky lv4 and earth link plays.
The 5 stars can be normal summoned too, they have a total of 3 different searchers that can search eachother out for 1 card combos. Omni negate, an Icarus attack type trap, and more
I find funny Gage going for unconsistent win buttons, Doug going for max deck consistency and Nadir balancing the two while sitting on Extra deck bombs just a little too hard to summon
@nbassasin8092 Considering Farfa's UR pulls, Pledge of Sword was probably the better choice for X-Saber pulls than Beastly Claws of Terror (Sky Striker was objectively the better choice long-term, though) Being able to get Jack/King/Queen at N for Obelisk fodder (plus Thunderspeed Summon at R) would have the big boy on line so easily (and everybody is already playing Unexpected Dai currently) Plus, Imperial Bower at R is a 1 card Exciton (provided King/Queen are pulled), and Arcana Knight Joker at SR is pretty close to unoutable this early on It just sucks that he pulled the worst UR for both X-Saber packs; Invoker would've been mighty nice. Cyber Dragons with Clockwork would be an absolute problem in this series, that Doug is getting close to being able to sit on. He just needs his one of the starters.
I was going nuts over Doug getting Speedroid on top of Harpies. I thought he'd 2-0 easily, but no Terrortop, the link-2, or some of the mysteriously missing Speedroid (Piper especially) from the pack was kinda rough. Terrortop Taketomborg is basically gonna be usable for the entire series unless they get banned. Farfa's Wynn is also gonna extremely hard counter Doug if he keeps going the wind route, and he's also got light/dark gy strategies countered... Might be in for a rough Saga
Ah yes, the Labrynth pack. One of the biggest traps in Master Duel. It might as well be called: "Konami's Greed". It is fill with so much fluff that getting what you want from the pack is basically impossible.

Honestly tho with the ones he got for this week it was the right choice with his current pool and just hope to high roll
I love how Farfa opens the two halves of the Master Packs separately even though there’s literally no difference in master packs
It's probably force of habit
Lol it's force of habit or he's just having some fun building up anticipation with the pulls.
Ive watched enough Farfa to know its habit
u see how much better his master pack pulls are? I think his strat pays off
Farfa is just a happy little guy. Head empty. Click cards

No, raye loves earth machine, so that's why she didn't want to show up
