Thank you for making these videos. I've been meaning to fix my switch for a while now. I have the easier problem. My switch quit working(continuous continuity). The dryer won't shut off when I open the door, I have to turn the cycle knob to off. The parts store down the street opens on Monday. My part number ends in 101 but it looks the same as the 107. Easy fix.
Guillermo, thanks so much for the video. Had a problem with the electric dryer. Took the switch out and used your video to test. Now I know that the switch is the problem. Really simple repair that could have cost me much more if it were not for your video. Gracias!

Got the opposite problem. Dryer starts without a problem - it just doesn't stop running when the door is opened! Also I noticed that the 3-wire connector has molded numbers on it for two of the wires. #1 is green and #3 is red, which makes the blue wire #2. Although all 3 wires have white insulation, there are color dots on each wire about 1/4 inch from the connector. My switch is working properly so my problem appears to be at the other, more expensive, end of the wiring.
hey my friend. looks to me that your heating element is grounded. disconnect the dryer and the wires from the heating element, then just put your tester in oh and one prong to one of the ends and the other to the frame if beeps it’s grounded. so one part of the coil it touching the frame.

My middle wire does not beep but the wire on the right beeps when I click on the switch does that mean my door switch is bad?
If 1sr(green-ground) and 2nd beeps and when you move the switch stop beeping. And if you do 1st and 3rd should be no sound then you move the switch and will beeps. Is does this two thing is good other ways it’s bad. Watch the video one more time then paused for the 2 steps. Hope that i answered your question.

Which 2 do you tie together for a bypass?
The 2 and 3 because the 1sr one it’s ground wire.
To bypass the switch you have to tie 1 and 3 together but the dryer wont stop when you open the door.
What setting do you use on the multimeter? 10A? V? mA?
Sorry for the late response, set your multimeter in continuity because it’s no connected to the AC line. Hope unswerving your question.
