Yes!! I’m type one diabetic so insurance doesn’t approve it and my doctors are weary because I got sick on it the first time I took ozempic!

@@AbsolutelyAbbieASMR wonderful…they do have those little cups of pudding and yogurt in the store as treats. They even make sugar free versions. I bet you can have popsicles too. That would be a nice treat.

Why do you have to have surgery when there are so many more options today. Losing weight should be done in a natural way other than surgery. We have so many weight loss programs, that let you eat the right food and get exercise. I wish you luck with this and I hope the doctor has thoroughly explained this surgery to you.
Perhaps she has tried the many diets and ways that are available to lose weight. Maybe she has charted her own course and made the decision to go with bariatric surgery (as many others have done) to reach her goals. I think maybe that your support for her decision to have surgery would be more helpful than a suggestion that she try another diet. (Natural or otherwise)
I’m so glad for your input. I have a lot of health issues that this is the best option. Of course I’ve spoken to all four of my doctors about this and they all thought it was a great idea

Oh my goodness, if it were as easy as just deciding to eat properly and get some exercise there wouldn’t be a major obesity problem in the US! Maybe there are some people that can lose a lot of weight the way you suggest going about it - but they are the rare exception and even rarer are those who actually keep it off. I get how flippin’ hard and how flippin’ real the struggle is as I have battled with my weight for decades. I’ll be praying for you, Abbey - for God to guide your surgeon’s hands and for a great outcome! xo
