I was there, too, and it occurs to me that those of us who can say we were there are now all senior citizens! The build-up was agonizing, and there was utter pandemonium when the Beatles' equipment was finally set up and they appeared out of the dugout near third base and walked onto the field. If you were in the stands that evening you could only occasionally hear a few notes of the music when the screaming subsided. I was 14, and it was my first "rock concert." An unforgettable experience.

This conference was held in the Bards Room at White Sox Park. Triangle Productions organized this, screened attendees.....The afternoon concert followed.

I saw The Beatles, live, 2 days after this, on my 9th b-day in Portland OR.
It was unreal. They played for 37 minutes. It seemed much longer.
I thought, 'This is the best place to be in the world.'
I was not wrong.

I was at this press conference representing Seventeen Magazine and I was called on to ask 1 question of George. Who was this woman that she could ask so many questions ? Someone well connected, I am sure. Is there anymore footage available of this conference ?
