🇺🇸🇵🇪🇵🇷 I'm One of the lucky ones, I grew up I grew up in Bailey's Crossroads , Virginia. I have been to Arlington cemetery many times, For funerals and visits, Bob Crosby and I Stood for many hours as we waited there at the cemetery, As we watch John Kennedy be put to rest.. Anyone who visits Washington DC And goes to the Lincoln memorial should walk across the bridge to Arlington cemetery, Maybe they will appreciate their veterans more.. It's free you don't need an invitation... God-bless America 💖

As a Brit living in the USA, a place I Love very much. I think this Video should be viewed on every single USA tv channel, every cable channel, every single local station, and all at the same time! This great nation, needs to stop ripping its self Apart, and began again, understanding that the whole is far greater than the parts. God bless America.

Sad part is you know half of this country would call them a lot of unkind words. Even a direct suggestion with a 2x4 wont change their minds. That is the level of stupidity that has to be overcome.
      That takes war.

Freedom doesn't come without a HUGE HUMAN SACRIFICE. These are the true HEROES that no one ever heard about. May they Rest with their Respective God's. Because so many different religions served. Thank you all for your Ultimate Sacrifice for all of us is the US and the neighbor to tyour North, Canada. From a grateful daughter of a Canadian Military Veteran of 22 years. The people today who are vandalizing monuments and statues in the name of justice and equality need to see this video. We have to embrace and learn from our history, not to scrub it clean. That’s what makes America unique from other countries. I’ve always wondered why Confederate soldiers were also buried in Arlington, and I’ve learned so much from this video and have an even deeper respect for America and our history.

And yet the woke got that Confederate monument taken down. A monument to "reconciliation" was torn down and the graves around it were desecrated. I had to quit watching this video after seeing that monument.

@@billywild5440 an absolute disgrace. I am the great great grandson of a Union soldier who was a POW. That statue should be there so we remember our past. These cretins hate anything and everything American. They’d scrap all of Arlington if they truly had their way.

I visited Arlington in 1999 on a visit to America. I was struck with an overwhelming sense of respect and humility at what is represented there. It is only right and proper that we respect and say thankyou to our veterans who paid the ultimate price, I speak as an Englishman for my country and for the USA. I thank you for assistance as allies and pray that we may always be friends as peace loving nations. May God Bless America,

Wow I'm absolutely speechless. The videos on this channel are amazing there a lot no words to describe it . I just cant believe, and I'm shocked no one is taking part in talking about this channel its contents or anything. A few likes and that's it . More then 226 people need to watch this because if not for our heritage , the cost paid in full and the heartaches that still are felt and paying to this day deserve better. We say nothing.
I'm proud and I say thank you .

I think I am the one who is speechless. Your kind words and the fact that you took the time to express them mean more to us than you could know. And, you are right, these people who paid such a price are so amazing. We got to interview so many heroes and their families, and we were astounded most of all by their humility. In fact, many of the Medal of Honor recipients we talked to for the film on The Medal didn't even think what they did was special. I asked one man why in the world he dove on a live grenade (saving 5 fellow soldiers' lives) and he thought for a moment and then said "you would have done the same thing." What a humble, good man. I could tell you more stories, but based on your comment, you already get it, and probably know more than a few on your own. Thank you for your words - they are a real blessing.

The first time I visited this most hallowed ground, America's most sacred of resting places, was in 2014. Whilst in my Civil Air Patrol uniform helping my colleagues during such a poignant day of laying wreaths to honor those whom having given all for our nation, I finally felt a sense of closure after 17 years. Over a decade and a half earlier my Grandmother Preusser had been interred alongside her husband my grandfather who fought in WW II, and yet my family didn't allow me to attend the funeral because they thought I'd be overwhelmed, but 17 years later I finally got to say my final farewells! Arlington isn't just a National Cemetery, it is a shrine, a cradle of our history, a place that tells of how America began 248 years ago and how far we've come as a country!!

Neither is true, so you should show this to your own child and/or grandchild because our schools tell our children falsehoods.

America became a superpower in 1945 and the American people have suffered greatly in military actions since then, with over 100,000 dead service men and women and 300,000 wounded. Being a superpower is not easy. You really have to admire the selfless commitment of the US military to their country.

Lee, the original owner and builder of Arlington House George Washington Parke Custis intended the house to be a memorial to George Washington, and filled it with his collection of Washington memorabilia. When I lived near DC I used to visit Arlington Cemetery very often. It is a solemn place and my heart ached for the men there in thousands of graves. I was always interested in visiting the graves of Medal of Honor recipients. I was a Marine in the 60s and I spent a lot of time at the grave of Ira Hayes, one of the Marines who raised the flag on Iwo Jima. Also, the grave of Audie Murphy. I'm old now (77) and my health has failed and I'm an invaled. If I were still able I would make an annual pilgrimage to Arlington Cemetery to stand at the resting place of American warriors who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I am forever grateful and indebted to those who serve and served and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice defending our great country. Thanks to all of you. Also would like to know who would give a thumbs down to this video. They are sorry communist peice of shit and don't deserve to set foot in this country.

I love Arlingron, and feel moved by it. Even just viewing photos . But also realize that for every single in there, at least1 5 other headstones of service persons that are scattered across the nation and other countries. Mostly are at cemeteries that were made because that is where large a group of them died in a battle. That is a great, but tragic story of love.
