Thx so much! This video has been helpful and decreased so much of the stress of choosing IT or other degrees. I feel like I am more technical than management type.
Do you provide career consulting… I am starting my Masters in MIS and would love to get an idea of what the course work maybe like and what to do while in school to be able to hit the ground running as soon as I graduate
Hi If I would like to get a MIS degree, what kinds of courses or majors should I choose in community college? I am going to college in 2024 fall intake. Please give me an advice 🙏🏼
Thanks again for the very informative videos. Please may I ask, do MIS employees get days off and holidays or they work non-stop everyday for the whole year?
@@venator7889 its based on the company you work for and the country you are in. If you are full time you will have off on weekends and holidays and when you choose to take time off.
Hi Black Heights, I’m just asking for a friend. But do you have a video, about the best colleges for MIS/ITM degrees. I think in earlier video you stated UT Austin was a great one, but are there other noticeable ones within the nation that you know of. We live in Texas, but she’s considering finding another college in another state.

Hi black heights, just want to ask if WGU business administration IT program is same as MIS . It will guild me to make an informed decision to pursue a degree. And one more sir, what are the Job prospects for Business IT majors is there and easy entry level positions available. Thank you God bless you for the great contents you are putting out here to help us all.
Hi Sam, There are two IT majors at WGU. There is information technology and information technology management (ITM). ITM is the same as MIS and the job prospects are all of those that I have on this channel from web developer, software developer, business analyst etc....
Hi there, I'm curious on your thoughts on whether I should pursue an MIS vs MS in Tech Management. I already have an MBA, so I want something that'll complement my education. I've worked in Product and Marketing, so I have the business side nailed down. I have an opportunity to get a full grant full time from my employer, and I want to take advantage of that. I want to move into technology; while database is something that interests me, I want the flexibility to do technology only, vs database management. Thoughts on what you'd do personally if you already have an MBA? Thx!

Hello is MIS the same thing as IS? Because in my university it is called Information systems & technology and it’s under administration
Yes it's the same
My Uni requires me to take business as a minor while doing the IT major. What should I do?
Do it. You can use the business knowledge.
@@ElevateToTheUnknown but isn’t that what ISM is?

I would do MS in tech management if you want to do technical work and be hands on
Where would business information system fall under?
It's the same as MIS and ITM.
Are MIS jobs math heavy?
No they are not.
