Woooaaahhh!! I didn’t know that Muga silkworms are also reared in Nagaland. And yes, it’s rightfully said that it’s the best and most expensive silk. Also, Assam is the mass producer of Muga sw . But the amount is reducing since it’s an outdoor rearing and which makes it difficult to rear. I’m currently pursuing my BSc in sericulture and I would love to meet the rearer and get some knowledge one day 🤞. Also an extra information- scientific name of Muga is Antherea assamensis😅
