Bringing some Legitimacy to the Bat'leth, thank you so much! I am curious to see more of what you're able to do with it. Please, more demonstrations of the Bat'leth!
I couldn't click the like button fast enough! I always wanted to see a practical training bat'leth created and practised with. It's good to see some moves with it too and if you ever put them on sale I'd probably be interested in purchasing one in the future!
Your channel as well as razmafzar, okichitaw and jack chen channels are amazing. I love to see that people are actually putting time and effort into recreating ancient martial art from all around the world. Now we just have to learn martial arts from the natives in South America so we could assure that they won't disappear
Da'Mon Stith Da'Mon Stith that's nothing. Also, I have a question, do you know or practice zulu stick fighting? I found a lot of modern video of it on siyabonga makhathini channel
First time I watched it, I couldn't hear the sound. Thought you were demonstrating an obscure African blade. Watched it again with sound and how I laughed (at myself)!
Congrats for this cool video. You are the first guy who actually tries to use it as a bat'leth and adapit a technique to it, rather then just trying to use it as a sword and afterwards say that's a bad weapon. Besides you I've seen scholagladiatoria commenting about using it as a polearm of something like it, but you did it first. And this lack of people trying to show different techniques for it makes it interesting for more content like it. Just an idea!! Besides that, in the star trek triology bat'leths are said to be heavy, like 3 to 5 kg, but I got curious about how much it would weight in reality, both the replica your using there and how much do you believe a metal one would weight?
Me as well. It will only load 10 seconds of it, even then it will only play 6! I right-clicked and did the troubleshooting, but it looks like it might take a while for someone to get to it.
1 interesting how the opponents first reaction was to move the sword away and step back out of your reach because the bat'leth has a very small ranger such a heavy weapon. 2 changing grips when your that close to someone in a fight is a stupid move. and parrying and then swinging over your head like that is easy to doge and then stab you which btw try block a thrusting blow with a bat'leth

Hey man, that's exactly how I imagined the bat'leth used by a pro Klingon. Kudos!
I just saw that episode again the other day. Binge watcing TNG lol.

First off you know I have to get a practice Bat'leth because the real one I have has cuts for real so no one will train with me. LOL
It looks like it was made from the bone of a mighty beast!
You should make trainers for this and real ones for your site
So it's just a cicada wing sword from China, but just more over the top
Interesting. Thanks

Quick comment on the overhead strike, you can clear and strike the neck at the same time if you shift the block position more to the right
Its great to see a different side .
Keep up the good work.

What is your practise batleth made of? I need one!
HDPE
Might not get a reply but how did you make the Bat'leth?
Hello! I made a template and traced it out on a piece of plastic then used power tools to cut and shape the plastic.
@@DaMonStith thank you for your response!!
Anyone else having playback issues? The video freezes after a few seconds while the audio keeps playing.

I just opened Internet Explorer for the first time in ages... Ick. But it did work in that browser. I was using Firefox, so that may be the issue.
Some thing happened to me, and I too am using Firefox. I reduced the quality to 360 and it worked fine.
I am using Chrome. Setting to 360p worked.
playing good for me
Awesome video man 👍
