As a jdm fan boi, i actually really like how this straight 6 sounds... Has a little 1jz in it. Id love to hear it with a good exhaust. Too bad im not a truck person with 65k burning a hole in my pocket, even if I i was, i dont think I could ever trust a stilantes product.
I like it! Lot's of fun features that I hope finds their way into other models. And even though GM's Super Cruise may be better, at least RAM now offers a hands-free driving system. And that's a great thing on it's own. Now, the exhaust sound doesn't seem to be horrible, but I'd need to hear more of it to make my mind up about it. Nothing excites me about the sound so far though. Really cool model all-in-all! They needed to put the HO Hurricane in the TRX platform anyway, so here it is. It's not a TRX... but I really like it! Active suspension is a great thing and should be standard in a lot more vehicles, not to mention RAM trucks. That system alone is enough to want to get one of these. Would sure love to see an active suspension system in the Power Wagon and the Rebel, HD and half-ton!
I feel bad for all the early adopters, seems people never learn to not buy the first edition, leave the recalls and powertrain problems to the UA-camrs, there have already been countless accounts of the thermostat nuking the hurricane engine so I can’t imagine the problems this higher output of the engine is going to have🥴 I personally don’t think this is going to sell anywhere as good as the TRX and I think there will be the usual 15-20% discount on these trucks in due time, just like every 2023-2025 Ram truck has on it. At 50-55k these will sell great but at 70-100k good luck if they end up mass producing these💀
Huge RAM fan here. Former owner of a 2023 TRX Havoc and current owner of a 4xe GC Trailhawk and JL RubiconX. For the first time in my life, I am looking elsewhere when my lease is up on the GC. I put money down on the new Scout. Stellantus has all but ruined Ram and yes Jeep. They lead the way with the Cummins and have done very little to advance it. The 4xe has not changed since it was introduced. All though we love the GC 4xe and it has been flawless, I don’t think I will buy another one unless they start innovating.
And to imagine that these demo trucks have been jumped by countless numbers of reviewers, etc. the entire day. I’m kind of impressed. Let’s see how reliable that six-cylinder turbo is over the next year or two.
You guys are smart guys and i know well aware of 8-11 K discounts on these!! Makes iit extremely enticing at “65” plus tax for base and an option if wanted
I like It that sound of the Dodge Ram Rho Is great and is faster Is nice truck diferent the ram trx and i like It the engine huricane and the color Is great nice drive
I think some people have forgotten that the base price of the TRX in 2021 was $70,095. I wonder what the RHO will be in the next 4 years, if stellantis makes it that long.
You were expecting more?? Really. Very few people can afford at TRX over $100K. This is available to more people just based on cost. Stop whining about sound.
65-70k would be a price point where I would look at it. Some feedback I think you guys should give Ram is they should offer the 540hp engine in all trims.
So sorry to see the TRX being down graded to 6 cylinder, Ford did the same first with the Raptor , turbos give power but don't last for very long when being used constantly, I imagine it will cost about $15,000 or more to replace them right after your last payment, or when the warranty is gone , V-8 baby all the way
I think this is a good truck for the intended buyer. The six cylinder will be great because most prospective buyers are going to run this thing with the gas light on
I just got back my deposit on a Level 1 RHO after selling my TRX. The price point is too nuts. In Canada a Level 1 is $132,000 before fees and taxes which is $50,000 more than a rebel. A comparable Raptor 37 is about $15,000 less and includes most of the Level 2 features
The million-dollar question should be when they start making these trucks? I have been waiting in order status for the past six months and nothing as of yet!
@LUVBEIRUT Amen same here and I'm tired of waiting and getting lied to by the Ram tracker and also very little communication from Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, LA.
Would love to see a weight comparison between the Hemi TRX and this RHO with the I6 engine. I'm sure the engine is a little lighter but did they make the chassis any lighter to help with the smaller engine/less power?
"High performance trucks like this are about horsepower and torque" Don't forget, they're ALSO about overpriced corporate greed. No wonder Ram trucks are on lots for over 300 days. $70k is WAY too much, how many sucker's will be duped into getting it? So Dude- Ram can keep their little 3 liter putt-putt, which sounds like a Honda. Market share will totally shift to Ford.
Just as Ram releases something cool, although overpriced as usual, their parent company is on the verge of closing up Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram. CEO running it into the ground, laying off all the workers, etc...we'll see if Ram still exists to be able to sell this truck.
This Non American CEO has killed an iconic American brand. You are right it sucks because people like that CEO care about his pockets now then long term.
Was gonna trade in my 22 Raptor for one. Went and sat in a TRX to get a feel and came to find I couldn’t fit. With or without the sunroof at 6’8. Looks like I’m stuck with no-sunroof raptors.
Coming from the UK I am perplexed by your advertiser . You can save up to $1300 on an extended warranty. How much is it in the first place?? Isn’t it about time the likes of Ford etc upped their warranties to match the like of Kia (7 years here). Great Video by the way wish we got trucks like these
Blah, blah, blah. So sick of the "It sounds terrible, it's not a V8..." If y'all want a V8, then put your $100,000+ on the table and buy one. This Hurricane Engine is in the Track Pack Challenger rated at 1000 hp! There's already mods for the Grand Wagoneer that bump the hp to EQUAL a TRX. I Think it sounds fine. My RHO is ordered. Looking forward to getting it in few months.

Is straight 6 better than v6? These twin turbo trucks are fancy. Do you think they will last 300k+ miles like my 86 ranger with the 2.3 has and still runs fine?
Resale values on the final run of 2024 Hemis are going to go absolutely bananas the next few years. This I-6 engine might be fine for Stellantis delivery vehicles, CUVs, and minivans ... but it just sounds wrong in a full-size Ram. If it got twice the MPG, okay fine. But it only does 1-2 mpg better in the real world than the 5.7 eTorque? C'mon. That isn't progress ... it's a betrayal.
Nobody does, but the image sure sells them. Just like the off road trim Subarus, "off road" is a selling feature these days, not just off road, but special capabilities over the standard off road version, such as the outback wilderness edition, i see a ton of those, my brother even has one.
Still a heavy truck despite not having the iron block and blower hanging off the front. Ram's payload ratings suggest its 6280 lbs while the Raptor is listed at 5710. Thats a considerable difference.
Maybe it’s just the audio, but to me it sounds like a moded Civic or Subaru.

Trucks were meant to tow extremely heavy and go!
I would go diesel over off-road any day. Diesel can make me side money.
To each its own: for those risking their lives, that's clearly their decision and their money. More power to you and whatever brings a smile to their faces.
Man that exhaust sound is terrible
I do think its a great truck on paper (if its not marked up at dealers)! BUT people are very skeptical of Stalantise products right now!
What is the point of hands free driving if you have to look at the road?!
..... to pay attention to the road? You're not supposed to read a book or fall asleep😂😂😂😂🤡
Truck does seem legit. I don't understand why they went away from the TRX though. Having this truck and the TRX would just give buyers more options.
when the TRX came out i was envious. The RHO - Not one bit.
My neighbor had a TRX, the exhaust sounded great until he would go to work at 6:30 every morning. He sold it, and I can sleep in.
The sound alone made my decision. When the time comes, I will trade my TRX in for a Raptor R. You are breaking my heart Ram!!
I wanna go back to the 90's with high performance 2wd trucks. But, you've seen my comments and at this point, I'm beating a dead horse.
sounds like a good truck for those looking for a well rounded rig.
I feel bad for all the early adopters, seems people never learn to not buy the first edition, leave the recalls and powertrain problems to the UA-camrs, there have already been countless accounts of the thermostat nuking the hurricane engine so I can’t imagine the problems this higher output of the engine is going to have🥴
I personally don’t think this is going to sell anywhere as good as the TRX and I think there will be the usual 15-20% discount on these trucks in due time, just like every 2023-2025 Ram truck has on it.
At 50-55k these will sell great but at 70-100k good luck if they end up mass producing these💀
That thing sounds terrible. V8 or nothing
@@mikevollmer3579 I personally like a straight 6 sound. Not like a V6. Obviously not a v8 but I could get used to this straight 6
Doesn’t sound that bad actually with the intake , it seems like it’s an emissions thing so V8 had to go .
Guess nothing for you then
@@mikevollmer3579 enjoy your nothing. 🤷♂️
V8s sound terrible. 4 rotor or nothing. You probably miss the modem handshake sound. What's it like back in the 90s?
Well done ram! 👍🏻
love these light weight v6 high output, hope mopar use the same engine on the jeep gladiator.
It will definitely sell . It’s basically a 3.5 raptor match . Still a capable truck
I like It that sound of the Dodge Ram Rho Is great and is faster Is nice truck diferent the ram trx and i like It the engine huricane and the color Is great nice drive
Sound means a lot and this thing needs a better muffler to silence it or someone needs to hemi swap it
I think some people have forgotten that the base price of the TRX in 2021 was $70,095. I wonder what the RHO will be in the next 4 years, if stellantis makes it that long.
You were expecting more?? Really. Very few people can afford at TRX over $100K. This is available to more people just based on cost. Stop whining about sound.
If you can get one for less than 60k it probably be great to own.
65-70k would be a price point where I would look at it. Some feedback I think you guys should give Ram is they should offer the 540hp engine in all trims.
I would buy one if they offered the H.O as an option all around.
@@alonsocardoza586 I think they have fumbled this whole roll out.
Stop trying to church it up people be honest. It sounds more or less the same as a Raptor!
As a Ford guy, i can say this sounds better than a raptor. Raptor sounds like a wet fart. I think this has s european i6 sound
@@lyderon37 I daily a Raptor right now and can confirm you are full of it. They sound the same. Both sound bad you're splitting hairs.
The bots are out in force today
"High performance trucks like this are about horsepower and torque"
Don't forget, they're ALSO about overpriced corporate greed. No wonder Ram trucks are on lots for over 300 days. $70k is WAY too much, how many sucker's will be duped into getting it?
So Dude- Ram can keep their little 3 liter putt-putt, which sounds like a Honda. Market share will totally shift to Ford.
"But will it last?"
Here is an ad for extended warranty-
The jokes write themselves 😄
3:00 was about when I started to gag from the repulsive sound 😅
Just as Ram releases something cool, although overpriced as usual, their parent company is on the verge of closing up Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram. CEO running it into the ground, laying off all the workers, etc...we'll see if Ram still exists to be able to sell this truck.
This Non American CEO has killed an iconic American brand. You are right it sucks because people like that CEO care about his pockets now then long term.
I hope they offer the H.O as an option for every 1500
Was gonna trade in my 22 Raptor for one. Went and sat in a TRX to get a feel and came to find I couldn’t fit. With or without the sunroof at 6’8. Looks like I’m stuck with no-sunroof raptors.
Coming from the UK I am perplexed by your advertiser . You can save up to $1300 on an extended warranty. How much is it in the first place?? Isn’t it about time the likes of Ford etc upped their warranties to match the like of Kia (7 years here). Great Video by the way wish we got trucks like these
Looks a fun truck. At least we are still getting performance although the V-8s are the best.
The sound of that engine made me want to throw up
It sounds good like a GTR
Blah, blah, blah. So sick of the "It sounds terrible, it's not a V8..."
If y'all want a V8, then put your $100,000+ on the table and buy one.
This Hurricane Engine is in the Track Pack Challenger rated at 1000 hp!
There's already mods for the Grand Wagoneer that bump the hp to EQUAL a TRX.
I Think it sounds fine.
My RHO is ordered. Looking forward to getting it in few months.
No one cares about the power it makes. We want a V8 and the sales will show that. But hey, the liberals want to force us to downsize.
Preach
You're the type of person they're targeting, someone who doesn't demand much.
Imagine buying a new truck
And I'm tired of yall acting like they're even close to the same category. Watch it flop in a couple Yeats while Ford and Chevy skirt by 😂😂😂
I wish all the truck manufacturers would make these available in regular cab short box.
Buy yourself a F-150 and paxpower will build it into a Raptor for half the price as a regular raptor or TRX 🤷♂️
Maybe download the TRX sounds and play through the speakers.
Everyone trying to say its cheaper than a Raptor.....well thats because its a Stallantis product and people have wised up to their junk!
🙄
@@Bored2Deaf go buy some Stalantis stock then.....o that's right it's down like 48% or 30 billion dallors this year 🤔 because they make crap and people have wised up!
I was wondering how quick it would be and its numbers are about the same as my 2019 Raptor with the MPT 93 PRX tune loaded. I bet the RHO rides much smoother though.
Is straight 6 better than v6? These twin turbo trucks are fancy. Do you think they will last 300k+ miles like my 86 ranger with the 2.3 has and still runs fine?
Ram needs to bring back the Hemi V-8
I think it is ok, it would be amazing if it had a battery to help it, like a high performance PHEV!
These videos make me want to be an automotive journalist.
Why does everybody want to jump their enormous trucks all of a sudden?
Nobody does, but the image sure sells them.
Just like the off road trim Subarus, "off road" is a selling feature these days, not just off road, but special capabilities over the standard off road version, such as the outback wilderness edition, i see a ton of those, my brother even has one.
I told my dealer that RHO means REMOVED HELLCAT OPTION.
He told me it means: REALLY FKIN HARD TO SELL
Still a heavy truck despite not having the iron block and blower hanging off the front. Ram's payload ratings suggest its 6280 lbs while the Raptor is listed at 5710. Thats a considerable difference.
Ram is a bigger truck as well
please show us the base model RHO. Seems like a steal for mid 60s.
Sounds like a good engine for a car or suv. Sound wise. Power wise at over 500/500 I’m sure it’s plenty for that 1500
Ram had a pretty good run.
Sure it's no TRX, but compare it to a Raptor and it shows how overpriced the Ford is. 10k more but with 100hp less.
The ford lets you check the oil and won’t fall apart by 25k miles.
The 3.5 ecoBoost HO it’s been proven . I didn’t hear good things about the inline 6 on the wagoneer.
@@WillWallace2 Flat 6?
@@okcmoparguy724 inline 6
Yes but the Raptor comes with 37 and has a lot of off road chops then the dodge. Only thing dodge is better at acceleration. Plus it’s a dodge
Just so weird to me that a truck is named by an engine it no longer has
sounds like my lawnmower lol
B itch you have an on Lincoln 😂😂 stfu
