I have severe arthritis in my neck and spine, degenerative disc disease, bone spurs, and two bulging discs. The pain is excruciating most days, the pain shoots down my left leg almost to the knee. My fingers and toes most times are tingly or numb. I was told it's progressive and I'll only get worse. I can't stand or walk long and many household jobs I can no longer do. I've been in pain management for years with periodic injections. Chronic pain is debilitating and causes anxiety and depression and if you've never lived with it, don't judge. I would give anything to be pain free again.
I too am in the same boat. Add daily migraines to my menu. I'm on so many meds now and not one of them is for pain. Just trying to function is now a major task. For being 53, I may not look it, but I feel like I'm 83. Best of luck.
Ditto. I'd gladly give up spinal pain meds to ride a motorcycle again, race boats, cars, ATVs again, swim, jog, run, hike, bike, play with dogs, lift a child...
I have degenerative disc disease with bone spurs of the spine. I don't have disc's from L1 to L5. My pain can be exusiating especially if I do any light housework or even using a electric cart. Just the pressure just kills me.
@@robertjackson6985 Yours makes mine look like a walk in the park. I have degenerative disk disease as well but so far the only one in my low back that's been affected is L5. Although L4 has a pretty good sight bulging it but and they've all lost height.
I think what is funny about this doctor is his disbelief that people aren't going to have good days! You can be in severe pain 80% of the time You're still hopefully going to have 20% good days that doesn't mean because you have good days you won't be laid up after having them that's usually what happens to me when I feel good and try to do something on good days the next day I might be in bed for 3 or 4 days.
Exactly I might be in some form of pain all the time but it isn't a 10 out of 10 all the time. But pain in its self is exhausting. It messes with your mental and physical health.
If I’m having a good day and overdo it, walk more, engage in what people consider normal behavior like going to lunch or coffee w my husband or do an aqua aerobics class, I feel it the next day and need several days to recover. I have to psych myself up if I have an event or something out of the ordinary to do. You’re right if you don’t live it you don’t know what it’s like.
I feel like he assumes all disability recipients are stupid. I don't need my doctor to tell me my pain is radiating. Radiating was a part of my vocabulary long before my neck injury.
I came here to say this same thing. Not all of us are stupid. Gah, I really hate doctors that think that anyone who isn't a doctor is stupid. For one thing, I have worked in the medical field.
I appreciate the education. the reason 99% of spine mri’s are abnormal is because we don’t order them until someone complains of pain. In other words the sample is skewed almost exclusively to the pain population. In fact , the bar for getting an mri by the insurance companies is difficult to meet. Most require 8 wks of physical therapy which can become difficult in some cases ie meniscus tears of the knee which won’t get better by itself anytime soon. I have included myelopathy as diagnosis on mri requests and had them denied. Thank you for the information though. It is illuminating.
Yeah, we aren't out here doing MRIs of the spine just to see how pretty someone's spine is. Give me a break. Some of these guys who do these exams for disability are total quacks.
I’m 72, and have Scoliosis since birth. Wore special shoes as a child, but they didn’t know much back then. Now, I am employed at a Seasonal Job, working at a Garnet Mine. Last season, I discovered a wide zip up back brace I purchased on Amazon. If I wear the brace, I have a much better chance of not aggravating my lower back. I am lucky, cause when it hurts I found after resting overnight, it’s much better. I have never had to call out because of my back, but sometimes I will do something that makes it hurt! Wishing everyone to be pain free!
Well it took me a yr to get a doctor to understand my complaints. That a MRI did not show in details. I did have radiating pain in both arms and both legs. One side more then the other. When they got in my c3-c7 had to be fussed with plates screws and rods. Docs like you is why people like me have life long problems now. Because some peoples 10 level of pain is other people's 3 or 4 level of pain.
Yes because some people can take pain a lot more than others that's a fact. I've been dealing with pain pretty much my entire life so I can withstand a lot now. So yes some of the pain I deal with people would be saying it was a 10 and I would agree with them but for me it's a 6 or 7.
I was hit by a drunk driver and paralyzed from my waist down. I was life flighted and had emergency surgery. I was 15 I'm now 37 and I have severe pain in my lower back if I'm up doing anything every 15-20 minutes I must lay down. I cannot stand and work anywhere because of it now. I also have severe deteriorating in my disk in my neck as well as my lower back. My pain goes across my back and down my legs just because I can walk normally now and I can sit down and I can stand up does not mean that I'm not disabled if I can't physically stay in for longer than 30 minutes at a time without laying down then that means that I can't go to a job and do my job because I'm going to have to lie down every 30 minutes. The last two jobs I've had I have wound up in the hospital with both of them because I cannot stand and work
My daughter has five and a half million dollars in back surgery for 120 degree scoliosis. She had 16 pins and two titanium rods which she bent like a river. They removed those and put in 24 screws and two titanium rods the length of her back. Her body is starting to twist again and her foot is becoming club footed. She applied for disabliy two years ago because she could no longer work at Kroger because no doctor would give her a release to return to work so they took her off the schedule. She is in constant pain and the arthritis has built up around the old holes in her spine and around the pins. She is gaining weight because her mobility is so much less. When she went to the doctor from social security they would not even look at her xrays and told her she should just lose weight.Good luck to anyone trying to get SSI or Social Security.
Wow unbeleavable. I have 100% of the day in pain. Now i dont take anything but meloxicam. But i was fiagnosed with Severe spinal stenosis with mylopathy. Interskeletal degeneration, spodylosis. Osteo. I have lower back pain and sciatica i think, because i have not been diagnosed in lower bavk though. I would hate for this guy to determone if i am disabille or not. I did have ACDF surgery. My numbness is better, i still hsve weakness and terrible pain.
All of this is dependent on the patient NOT ALSO having other conditions like fibromylagia. Slight pressure can be significantly more painful for someone with fibro. I have fibro, two bulging discs, lumbar stenosis on both sides, bursitis on both hips, degenerative scoliosis, a torn meniscus and bone on bone arthritis in the same knee, and have had one of my knees replaced. I had to retire when the lumbar stenosis and bursitis made it difficult to stand in one place for more than about 5 minutes. I have never tried to get disability and probably won't as I feel guilty for even asking at age 57. All of my conditions have been diagnosed and have been affirmed when possible by x-rays and MRIs. I currently have been getting pain injections which have helped enough that I can move around, but standing up straight and still is a challenge. The fibromyalgia creates widespread pain everywhere so a lot of the tests described above would give you very little diagnostic information about my other conditions. Something as small as the texture or fit of a piece of clothing can put fibro symptoms in overdrive.

I don't know about Dr. Foster, but I have found most doctor's don't believe in it, or it's not in their thoughts most of the time. I had every symptom and complained about them to her for a decade (to others for the prior decade) and no one diagnosed me until I started getting trigger point injections regularly. When I was upset when I found out and told her I had all the classic symptoms, she literally said, "What difference does it make? We just treat the symptoms anyway." She didn't even realize not knowing what you've had for years (when you were first tested before age 30), will make you nuts. Just knowing what's going on, is helpful.
@@lorcashine Fibro is absolutely a real diagnosis and is recognized by all major medical groups. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my rheumatologist also diagnosed me with Fibro.
The thing about lightly touching someone's back and they act like they are in major pain. He says they are lying. I have tissue from back surgeries you can see sticking up. That is wrapped around my spinalcord. The small of my back feels like an open wound, constantly.
No. I'm paid per patient, come what may. Also, I don't make the final determination whether someone qualifies for disability or not. I've never been pressured by the Social Security Administration to say someone was better off or worse off than what I put in my report.
That's what it seems like, I use to wonder if they get a huge commission or bonus for how many people he or those who approves and denied benefits, now I know the answer.

I have had years of PT and know how to brace to get up like a situp, and because I have unstable joints all over my body, sitting straight up with said bracing (without bracing, forget it) is far less painful than trying to manage the spine twisting and arm use required to get up from an exam table. Getting up in a regular bed, totally rolling over first because my legs aren’t torquing my spine in that case.
Sir, I bet your paid by social security to deny disability claims. When a person has 5 collapsed discs with scoliosis, can't sit or stand for long times and has numbness in his legs and is in severe pain all of the time and the top surgeon won't do surgery because his range of motion will be reduced by 90%, he needs disability.

Do you still also treat patients in your own practice? 3. How much time do spend reviewing each patients medical history/chart info before seeing them? 4. How much time do you spend evaluating each patient? I ask because so many people I know said the IME spent less than 5 minutes w/them. 5. How many patients on average do you evaluate in a day or week? 6. Of that average, how many do you actually approve for Disability?
I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2020 and my nerve pain feels like hair being pulled from different parts of my body. My most debilitating symptoms are vertigo, loss of balance, and dissociation. I've had times where I forget my name, where I'm at and what day and time it is.

Hello doctor, I had fusion of c-3-4-5-6-7. I was just going to have surgery and use my sick time to recover. My boss said no, this is a workman’s comp case and advised me to file it as such. I’ve worked at my same job for 37 years as a groundskeeper. I loved my job, but felt my body breaking down the past decade or so and was seeking treatment for such including many back injections. About eight years ago my spine doctor warned me that a big surgery was in my future, and he was right. All the vibrations of outdoor equipment and continues bouncing in tractor over the decades finally took its toll. I had the surgery on 9/22 and haven’t been back to work since. Pain is the main issue, I’m still getting workman’s comp, but is this something that would qualify for SSD? I’m soon to be 60 in June of 24. Thank you.
You may quality for SSDI if your spinal problems are severe in enough. In your favor is that it becomes easier to qualify at age 50, and easier still at age 60. If your boss will write a letter describing how your medical problems make you unable to work that will help a lot. You can send that to Social Security.
You do realize you don't need a medical degree to understand the definition of radiate, correct? Some of us are intelligent, even though we don't have a medical degree. 😂
One thing I can call him out on is the pain on both sides. When I ruptured the disk in my neck, I had pain in both arms down to the hands and thumb, and first 2 fingers. The pain was worse on the right side, but it was on both. It felt like a razor cutting all they way down the sides of my arms. He seems to be dismissive of the pain level this causes. I would have done anything to make it stop. I never tried to get disability as I owned my own business. With PT, pills, and 4 injections, it finally subsided, but took months. Even 2 years on it is still not 100%. I realize that there are fakers out there, but for the sake of us that have and do suffer with this, don't be so submissive. And hitting your funny bone is NOTHING like this pain. Until you have had it, you can't understand that it feels like someone cutting into you, and trying to peel your muscles and flesh off!
I would like for this Doctor to have the spine problem that I have. The VA has x-rayed me several times to try to disprove my case. He thinks that if a person takes care and is careful the problem does not exist. This guy is discussing.
I think this medical doctor is very judgemental. He’s disregarding all the evidence and put his judgement base on how he feels. If i am to judge him, i think he is not very happy person, base on his paychotic eyes, monotone voice and robotic facial expression. His eyes lack soul and empathy.

I totally agree with you. Something needs to be done about this seriously. You can't make decisions on other human beings based on your own experience you say. There are people who are going through so much pain, just because they don't handle it the way that you handle pain is not to professional on how you are handling these cases, no two people are a like, it have been proven over and over. You all are gonna have to come up with a better solution for the way you are denying people. Can't nobody read ones mind, just guessing and speculation doesn't stand up to the tests you all been practicing for I don't know how long. It's time for a change in 2024 upgrade throw out those old plates out videos, papers, tapes out with the old in with the new. Happy New Year keep progressing towards a better future for all. Amen.
I had major back surgery in August. They did a Laminectomy L1-5 and a fusion l4 and 5. And I have bulging discs in the t11 and T12 and I have stenosis in my neck. I've been in the medical field for years. I have applied for social security I'm waiting to hear from them.
Good luck! I had my second surgery on 11/11/2023. They fused me from T12 to sacrum I'm still having problems and even worse pain now! But I am walking short distances before the surgery I couldn't. Social security says I can do something! I have almost 28 years in concrete work. I'm getting ready to file a complaint against the social security because during my reconsideration they did not turn in all of my medical facts from the doctor and my second surgery wasn't even mentioned. That being said you need to really keep a eye on what they are turning in and when I got my letter to go to their doctor it said I did not have to bring anything at all when I get there the doctor said it didn't do much good to come without all my x-rays and MRIs I said well they said I didn't need to bring anything or did I know what you would need. I told the douchebag doctor I have three or four pictures on my phone of my spinal fusion and what was exactly done to my back he did not want anything to do with that he wanted my CDs and paperwork My phone information wasn't good enough. I'm going to keep filing complaints against the social security because it's not fair what they're doing to the people who's put all these years in and are truly disabled they want you to keep working because half the population don't they can tell that by how many credits that I have way more than many people in the world because all my long hours and everything I've paid in.

As a matter of fact, all MRI's should be labeled as abnormal. That's because MRI's aren't performed until an EMG is done first and if the EMG shows a problem then they get the MRI. MRIs aren't run on the random population so your statement comparing to the population is absurd and shows a lack of understanding of the process.
I have struggled with back and neck problems for decades and finally had lumbar and cervical surgery; and while I am much better, I still have good days and bad days. And what’s the main issue is that employers look at you and don’t see you have limitations. While there were instructions on my lifting/sitting limitations, it wasn’t unusual to be requested to move around heavy items or be expected to sit at the phones for hours. I was forced to take early retirement but can’t get disability. I can tell you that if I feel good today and choose to pick up a 30 Lb file box; tomorrow I won’t be able to walk without PR for a few weeks.
I had C4 issues I had radiating pain down my right arm. First symptom was numbness last 2 fingers of my rt hand after 3 weeks the pain was neck down the back of my arm another week and I could not lift my head from my chest I was shaking all over from the high level of pain. I had told my husband driving me to the ER if they dont do an MRI this time tell them I want another neurologist they said they would not give me any Demerol and that I had to quit shaking... the tremors were NOT voluntary...idiots head down on chest? Unable to lift it? This was Savannah hospital. The neurologist told them to send me home. I think EVERYONE thought I was drug seeking...psychologist,professor and college administrator ...how many are addicts? I realized they thought I was drug seeking and I said I could go outside this hospital and buy street drugs in ten minutes and you know it. Savannah? My husband was an RN in a hospital an hour and a half away but no decent neurologist there. The one in Savannah turned out to be terrible too. When I demanded a different neurologist ....I entered the ER this way and I was found to have a herniated C4 disc. I had a piece of bone from hip inserted in C4 . I. still have issues and pain 20+years after surgery. The muscles top of my shoulder atrophied before surgery and have never gone back to normal the area is much less muscled than my left side. Post surgery I had many years of problems and still do but I could not go on in screaming pain like I was in at the hospital. I live in terror now that I am 76 and living abroad that another disc will blow.I would not trust any surgeon here..... I would never be able to fake all this....just not possible.
Do you think that 90% of mri for back pain show abnormal because you have to get x rays first, then be approved by your doctor and the insurance provider before you can get one?
Doc said his patient had a pain level of 10 out of 10 in six areas of his body. When he went inside to do the exam the patient was laying on the exam table eating Popeye's chicken.
So he denied a person with disability because he was eating fried chicken sitting on the exam table that's sounds personal to me ...Don't play God this person could be on a pain killer and he was Hungary waiting for you for hours and got hungry that's the problem with our system doctors like you that abuse there authorities.

Exactly! That's a big reason why I make these videos - to let patients know what sort of information is important and they need to convey to the doctor.
My Hoffmans sign was noticed by my PT after a car crash. My doctor was already referring me to Neurosurgery for a lumbar herniation and DDD that was found by an MRI my Chiropractor orders post crash. Nuero confirmed Hoffmans, did more MRI's of lumbar and Cervical and found the DDD had progressed with herniations in cervical and lumbar. Mri found spinal cord compression in two spots between c4-c6, with herniation. Lumbar had herniated disk at L4/L5, with spinal stenosis in that spot. As well as deterioration in disks above and below l4/l5. Stenosis/herniation at l4/l5 randomly causes dislocation/displacement of sciatic nerve root sometimes randomly when I'm getting off toilet, bending over to pick up cat, or bending over to reach into the fridge. Kept putting me in the ER. Started SSDI claim while I waited to have an ACDF cervical fusion and a laminectomy in lumbar, no lumbar fusion until I can lose enough weight as I am overweight enough for it to be a problem at the age of 33. Had surgeries Nov 30th '23, now cerival is much better with far less numbness in fingers, but random shoulder pain. The lumbar however is another story, now the sciatic nerve continues to have issues, thankfully no ER visits since, but still shooting pains in feet, legs, and numbness in toes and ankle or outside of legs when standing. The issues are now bilateral. life now requires daily pain meds, gabapentin, muscle relaxers, and cannabis for pain. Also, we haven't yet done an MRI of my thoracic, but the pain in the thoracic region has become constant, which is about to be addressed with another referral to physiatrist again. My surgery was thankfully done by some famous surgeon I happen to live in the same town as, I was referred to him by another surgeon. I just had my medical evaluation from a state picked doctor who seemed to think I'm a good candidate for SSDI, and I hope she's right. Finding work with this going on seems impossible.
2 years into my fusion I still have pain in my back. Both my legs burn when I walk. Cervical fusion and still have numbness in my right hand and weakness. Had to put my sofa on a lift of 2x4 ‘s can’t even put on Sox thank goodness we didn’t have snow in NYC too bad.
not sure how many/ percentage of folks WANT to be declared disabled...but I did NOT want to be disabled... and even at 75 with some tools aiding me, I can still do foot care for people confined to home. Conversely, was declared to NOT have problems by a "doctor" reported by other doctors to be deceptive...lying on a report to the insurance after an accident. Lots of problems in diagnosing pain etc. when folks are taking Medications and they seem to WANT to be disabled. You GO on with truthful exams!

I have chronic compression deformities of the T-12, 11-1 and 11-2 vertebrae due to trauma from a car wreck. I see a Spine doc tomorrow, and I'm hopeful that they can offer treatment that will better my quality of life and mobility. Due to my back and right foot (reconstructive ankle surgery with it's own issues) I have to rely on a rollator bc I'm unable to stand or walk long/far as my ankle swells up the size of a softball and has caused me some falls by giving out on me, and my lower spine feels like it's crushing and it causes me to bend forward and have to lay down. Add to that RA and autoimmune issues as well as mental such as BPD, treatment resistant depression and severe anxiety (I isolate) and my ability to work is gone. Ive been on SSI for 25 years and had tried to work a few times waitressing (prior to the back injury) or retail and didnt even last 2 weeks. And several of those days I had to call in bc I could barely move. I'm currently applying for DAC, and was wondering if their process is like a CDR?

10/10 pain is equivalent to having gasoline poured on you and being set on fire. I've actually treated patients who that has happened to, and believe me, none of them could have calmly eaten Popeye's chicken, or anything else. The pain scale was designed with the express intent to get people hooked on Oxycontin, and I refuse to use it.
How do you account for pain differences, increased /decreased pain tolerances in neuro-diverse people i.e. ADHD, Autism, Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome etc.? Many ND people react very differently to pain and pleasure. I have seen many Dr.'s not believe or understand this difference & dismiss a patients complaints.
Hello DR. Foster, I was hit by a car in 1990 and as a result now, I have a crooked spine where I feel continuous dull pain up and down my back. I have a herniated disk, two disks are fused together and two disks are bulging. My hips are crooked (the left one leans forward because my left leg is more than an inch shorter than my right leg, and pain spreads from my lower back and hips the longer I stand. I can stand/walk for around 30 minutes, which increases to a 7-8 on the pain scale, and then I need to lie down for a couple hours. When I press down on my head, my head starts hurting and is a little numb. When I had an MRI on my head, it showed a big blank space in the lower part of the front of my head. I have serious brain fog, which I take medicine for, and seizures which I take medicine for, but doesn't stop me from getting seizures. When I sit down, I am constantly moving around, because my lower back and hips are so uncomfortable and in pain. My body is probably at a 3 in pain throughout the day, but I can only walk and stand before I need to lay down. I would like to get your opinion on my physical if you can. Also when the doctors check the reflexes for my feet my feet don't jump like normal, they don't move at all. I did have surgery for a pinched sciatic nerve and I am still having pain shoot down my left leg occasionally.
I have Crohn's disease. I can walk, sit, bend, etc. Crohn's causes unbearable pain during flare ups. I have had several surgeries.to remove small bowel. I now have shortened bowel syndrome. In other words I eat I hurt I have to use the bathroom. So I can not eat for ten hours a day every day which is not possible repeatedly, or i can eat and be in the bathroom 1 to 5 times an hour for the remainder of the day. When Crohn's is iñ check I can be an exceptional employee but at any given moment a flare up comes up and I'm no longer dependable and may be out anywhere from days to months which is unfair to employer. Plus not many jobs can give you the time you need not to mention the number of times you need to be in the bathroom without warning. I loved my job and did not ask for this and having my promising life derailed at such a young age and then knowing life is going to be a constant financial struggle on top means you have very little to look forward to than just survival.
I call BS on the “fact” you suppose the most patients couldn’t describe their pain as “radiating” unless prompted by a physician!! Illiterate or otherwise non-English speaking persons aside that is absurd. It’s only a matter of vocabulary of the patient and understanding of their body. Full body/spine imaging should always speak for itself also. I am a new subscriber and quickly becoming on the fence of your expertise (including your own experience and research)…😮
I just wanna say when im feeling extreme pain... i definitely freak out if my daughters try to touch my back wven though im askingbthem to rub it..its twisted but its a reaction i have. Please have that open mind but its onky during an issue. Right now im in pain but different than when its extreme. Right now its a different extreme .

I never applied for disability benefits when I was younger, and now I am old enough for SS due to age. However, I take issue with his claim that spinal problems cannot be on both sides. I have disc problems affecting L4-5 on the left, giving sciatic pain on the left buttock and thigh. A lot of folk I'm certain go through piles and piles of diagnosis, imagery and pain meds for years only to come into one of these Social Security Exams and being reported as if they are ready to compete in the Olympics, is it a personal ethics issue or else I would have to question if they are being incentivized by whomever is funding them. I have joint hypermobility and after doing really hard things on my life just come back to haunt me. Plus I have scoliosis, arthritis, Sjogren's syndrome, thyroid problems, and Raynaud's. It is the back pain that wears me out or when my ribs subluxate and go out of joint. I had been wearing back braces for a while but tried a couple different corsets. A person with a back problem will love a corset.❤
Ive had my spine fused at L4 and L5 with a connector to sacrum. I have also had a total right knee replacement. I have that numb tingly feeling in my arms, mainly the right, ever so often. Due to some restructuring at my job in a factory I am, at 61 having to do a job on the floor after 12 years in an office. I am not degrading the folks that work on the floor, they are the backbone of any company. I am just no longer able to do this kind of work. I am now in constant pain from the physical labor of the job. The pain radiates all down my right leg and into my foot. I am barely walking when my shift is finished. Would it be possible to attempt applying for disability?
Yes - it's easier to get approved if you are over 50, and even easier if you are over 60. The logic is, Social Security believes that if you have been working for 25 - 40 years, you won't stop working for a minor reason. If you can get a boss or supervisor to write a letter saying you can no longer perform many of your former duties, you can include that with your application and it will help.
Those that have worked in the medical/health care field will most likely use the word radiate. I do; I always have, and was not instructed by a Doctor. I'll have to disagree with that statement. The 10 level Pain scale is ridiculous. That I agree on.
The problem is, if a medical person says "radiate" I know what they mean. But if a non-medical person says it, I don't know what they mean - and you'd be surprised what I've heard when I've asked folks to explain what they mean by "radiate".
I have scoliosis. Congenital. It messes with breathing occasionally as it squeezes my right lung. One hip is higher than the other. I also have arthritis in both knees, diabetic neuropathy, etc, and I still work full time and over time occasionally. Disability isn't worth it.
I have degenerative bone disease. And bone spurs and lumber disc issues. So I can say pain is a daily thing. The surgeon damaged the nerve root. So I'm not happy like sunshine every day.
I shattered two vertebrae in my cervical spine and the SSA is entirely incompetent! According to their determination, there is not enough evidence to support determining I have a disability. The system is broken and it needs to be thrown out!

After my multi level back fusion my hamstrings have seized up. It doesn’t matter what kind of stretching I do they retreat right back up. I was doing Pilates regularly before back surgery and had pretty good rom, I was a gymnast growing up so pretty flex. No way I have 10% of that range of motion now.

I disagree with this doctor in about 50% of what he said. He seems to be more interested in disproving a condition rather than being objective to each patient. Every person has different muscle mass and fitness, and different tolerance to pain.
If he worked or works for social security administration he is not a good person, I have had back surgery finally which should have been done years ago from a on the job injury in which the company didn't follow the rules and take me to the hospital instead took me to a chiropractor and paid cash, I filled a workers comp and still didn't get surgery workers comp to the companies side and was denied social security for 5 years lost everything but got lucky and found a job driving that I was able to do hurt my stomach from all the ibuprofen and aspirin I had been taking but at this I was lucky enough that I had insurance and got the back surgery but from working with out a surgery the The surgeon said needed to be done cause more damage I refilled and am still not healed and not released from my surgeon cause he said he doesn't want me working and still not healed with a lot of pain and social security administrations Disability determination services is sending me to a chiropractor the doctor the did my surgery was blown away and mad that the want me to see a chiropractor he doesn't want my back damaged anymore than it already is, to think these people get there pay checks from the money we pay taxes into they are not trying to help anyone discusting

This guy's videos are informative but I find it interesting that he actually believes that functioning adults do not know what "radiating" pain means without the help and "education" from a doctor. It's really sort of weird that he would say things like this. Does he think we're all that stupid or something? If I hit my elbow and the pain is traveling down my arm toward my wrist guess what? It's RADIATING. Not so hard for someone with a HS education.
It's great that you know what it means, but I've encountered many folks who describe their pain as radiating, but when I ask them to tell me more, it turns out it isn't the medical definition of radiating pain. In fact, people misusing or not fully understand medical jargon is a common problem, which is why I advise that if you are not a trained healthcare provider, describe your problems in layman's terms. This comment is a classic example of people not really understanding what my job entails.

I have severe arthritis in my neck and spine, degenerative disc disease, bone spurs, and two bulging discs. The pain is excruciating most days, the pain shoots down my left leg almost to the knee. My fingers and toes most times are tingly or numb. I was told it's progressive and I'll only get worse. I can't stand or walk long and many household jobs I can no longer do. I've been in pain management for years with periodic injections. Chronic pain is debilitating and causes anxiety and depression and if you've never lived with it, don't judge. I would give anything to be pain free again.

I have degenerative disc disease with bone spurs of the spine. I don't have disc's from L1 to L5. My pain can be exusiating especially if I do any light housework or even using a electric cart. Just the pressure just kills me.

I think what is funny about this doctor is his disbelief that people aren't going to have good days! You can be in severe pain 80% of the time You're still hopefully going to have 20% good days that doesn't mean because you have good days you won't be laid up after having them that's usually what happens to me when I feel good and try to do something on good days the next day I might be in bed for 3 or 4 days.

I appreciate the education. the reason 99% of spine mri’s are abnormal is because we don’t order them until someone complains of pain. In other words the sample is skewed almost exclusively to the pain population. In fact , the bar for getting an mri by the insurance companies is difficult to meet. Most require 8 wks of physical therapy which can become difficult in some cases ie meniscus tears of the knee which won’t get better by itself anytime soon. I have included myelopathy as diagnosis on mri requests and had them denied. Thank you for the information though. It is illuminating.

I’m 72, and have Scoliosis since birth. Wore special shoes as a child, but they didn’t know much back then. Now, I am employed at a Seasonal Job, working at a Garnet Mine. Last season, I discovered a wide zip up back brace I purchased on Amazon. If I wear the brace, I have a much better chance of not aggravating my lower back. I am lucky, cause when it hurts I found after resting overnight, it’s much better. I have never had to call out because of my back, but sometimes I will do something that makes it hurt! Well it took me a yr to get a doctor to understand my complaints. That a MRI did not show in details. I did have radiating pain in both arms and both legs. One side more then the other. When they got in my c3-c7 had to be fussed with plates screws and rods. Docs like you is why people like me have life long problems now. Because some peoples 10 level of pain is other people's 3 or 4 level of pain.
Yes because some people can take pain a lot more than others that's a fact. I've been dealing with pain pretty much my entire life so I can withstand a lot now. So yes some of the pain I deal with people would be saying it was a 10 and I would agree with them but for me it's a 6 or 7.
I was hit by a drunk driver and paralyzed from my waist down. I was life flighted and had emergency surgery. I was 15 I'm now 37 and I have severe pain in my lower back if I'm up doing anything every 15-20 minutes I must lay down. I cannot stand and work anywhere because of it now. I also have severe deteriorating in my disk in my neck as well as my lower back. My pain goes across my back and down my legs just because I can walk normally now and I can sit down and I can stand up does not mean that I'm not disabled if I can't physically stay in for longer than 30 minutes at a time without laying down then that means that I can't go to a job and do my job because I'm going to have to lie down every 30 minutes. The last two jobs I've had I have wound up in the hospital with both of them because I cannot stand and work
My daughter has five and a half million dollars in back surgery for 120 degree scoliosis. She had 16 pins and two titanium rods which she bent like a river. They removed those and put in 24 screws and two titanium rods the length of her back. Her body is starting to twist again and her foot is becoming club footed. She applied for disabliy two years ago because she could no longer work at Kroger because no doctor would give her a release to return to work so they took her off the schedule. She is in constant pain and the arthritis has built up around the old holes in her spine and around the pins. She is gaining weight because her mobility is so much less. When she went to the doctor from social security they would not even look at her xrays and told her she should just lose weight.Good luck to anyone trying to get SSI or Social Security.
Wow unbeleavable. I have 100% of the day in pain. Now i dont take anything but meloxicam. But i was fiagnosed with Severe spinal stenosis with mylopathy. Interskeletal degeneration, spodylosis. Osteo. I have lower back pain and sciatica i think, because i have not been diagnosed in lower bavk though. I would hate for this guy to determone if i am disabille or not.
I did have ACDF surgery. My numbness is better, i still hsve weakness and terrible pain.

All of this is dependent on the patient NOT ALSO having other conditions like fibromylagia. Slight pressure can be significantly more painful for someone with fibro. I have fibro, two bulging discs, lumbar stenosis on both sides, bursitis on both hips, degenerative scoliosis, a torn meniscus and bone on bone arthritis in the same knee, and have had one of my knees replaced. I had to retire when the lumbar stenosis and bursitis made it difficult to stand in one place for more than about 5 minutes. I have never tried to get disability and probably won't as I feel guilty for even asking at age 57. All of my conditions have been diagnosed and have been affirmed when possible by x-rays and MRIs. I currently have been getting pain injections which have helped enough that I can move around, but standing up straight and still is a challenge. The fibromyalgia creates widespread pain everywhere so a lot of the tests described above would give you very little diagnostic information about my other conditions. Something as small as the texture or fit of a piece of clothing can put fibro symptoms in overdrive.

I don't know about Dr. Foster, but I have found most doctor's don't believe in it, or it's not in their thoughts most of the time. I had every symptom and complained about them to her for a decade (to others for the prior decade) and no one diagnosed me until I started getting trigger point injections regularly. When I was upset when I found out and told her I had all the classic symptoms, she literally said, "What difference does it make? We just treat the symptoms anyway." She didn't even realize not knowing what you've had for years (when you were first tested before age 30), will make you nuts. Just knowing what's going on, is helpful.

The thing about lightly touching someone's back and they act like they are in major pain. He says they are lying. I have tissue from back surgeries you can see sticking up. That is wrapped around my spinalcord. The small of my back feels like an open wound, constantly.

No. I'm paid per patient, come what may. Also, I don't make the final determination whether someone qualifies for disability or not. I've never been pressured by the Social Security Administration to say someone was better off or worse off than what I put in my report.
That's what it seems like, I use to wonder if they get a huge commission or bonus for how many people he or those who approves and denied benefits, now I know the answer.

I have had years of PT and know how to brace to get up like a situp, and because I have unstable joints all over my body, sitting straight up with said bracing (without bracing, forget it) is far less painful than trying to manage the spine twisting and arm use required to get up from an exam table. Getting up in a regular bed, totally rolling over first because my legs aren’t torquing my spine in that case.
Sir, I bet your paid by social security to deny disability claims. When a person has 5 collapsed discs with scoliosis, can't sit or stand for long times and has numbness in his legs and is in severe pain all of the time and the top surgeon won't do surgery because his range of motion will be reduced by 90%, he needs disability.

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2020 and my nerve pain feels like hair being pulled from different parts of my body. My most debilitating symptoms are vertigo, loss of balance, and dissociation. I've had times where I forget my name, where I'm at and what day and time it is.
Yes. My son has MS and he forgets things and he doesn't even know because he forgets. He says things like I never went there but I know he did because I was there.
Hello doctor, I had fusion of c-3-4-5-6-7. I was just going to have surgery and use my sick time to recover. My boss said no, this is a workman’s comp case and advised me to file it as such. I’ve worked at my same job for 37 years as a groundskeeper. I loved my job, but felt my body breaking down the past decade or so and was seeking treatment for such including many back injections. About eight years ago my spine doctor warned me that a big surgery was in my future, and he was right. All the vibrations of outdoor equipment and continues bouncing in tractor over the decades finally took its toll.
I had the surgery on 9/22 and haven’t been back to work since. Pain is the main issue, I’m still getting workman’s comp, but is this something that would qualify for SSD? I’m soon to be 60 in June of 24. Thank you.
You may quality for SSDI if your spinal problems are severe in enough. In your favor is that it becomes easier to qualify at age 50, and easier still at age 60. If your boss will write a letter describing how your medical problems make you unable to work that will help a lot. You can send that to Social Security.
Especially if problems persist for 24 months or longer and especially if still officially not working.

One thing I can call him out on is the pain on both sides. When I ruptured the disk in my neck, I had pain in both arms down to the hands and thumb, and first 2 fingers. The pain was worse on the right side, but it was on both. It felt like a razor cutting all they way down the sides of my arms. He seems to be dismissive of the pain level this causes. I would have done anything to make it stop. I never tried to get disability as I owned my own business. With PT, pills, and 4 injections, it finally subsided, but took months. Even 2 years on it is still not 100%. I realize that there are fakers out there, but for the sake of us that have and do suffer with this, don't be so submissive. And hitting your funny bone is NOTHING like this pain. Until you have had it, you can't understand that it feels like someone cutting into you, and trying to peel your muscles and flesh off!

I totally agree with you. Something needs to be done about this seriously. You can't make decisions on other human beings based on your own experience you say. There are people who are going through so much pain, just because they don't handle it the way that you handle pain is not to professional on how you are handling these cases, no two people are a like, it have been proven over and over. You all are gonna have to come up with a better solution for the way you are denying people. I had major back surgery in August. They did a Laminectomy L1-5 and a fusion l4 and 5. And I have bulging discs in the t11 and T12 and I have stenosis in my neck. I've been in the medical field for years. I have applied for social security I'm waiting to hear from them.
Good luck! I had my second surgery on 11/11/2023. They fused me from T12 to sacrum I'm still having problems and even worse pain now! But I am walking short distances before the surgery I couldn't. Social security says I can do something! I have almost 28 years in concrete work. I'm getting ready to file a complaint against the social security because during my reconsideration they did not turn in all of my medical facts from the doctor and my second surgery wasn't even mentioned. That being said you need to really keep a eye on what they are turning in and when I got my letter to go to their doctor it said I did not have to bring anything at all when I get there the doctor said it didn't do much good to come without all my x-rays and MRIs I said well they said I didn't need to bring anything or did I know what you would need. I told the douchebag doctor I have three or four pictures on my phone of my spinal fusion and what was exactly done to my back he did not want anything to do with that he wanted my CDs and paperwork My phone information wasn't good enough. I'm going to keep filing complaints against the social security because it's not fair what they're doing to the people who's put all these years in and are truly disabled they want you to keep working because half the population don't they can tell that by how many credits that I have way more than many people in the world because all my long hours and everything I've paid in.

As a matter of fact, all MRI's should be labeled as abnormal. That's because MRI's aren't performed until an EMG is done first and if the EMG shows a problem then they get the MRI. MRIs aren't run on the random population so your statement comparing to the population is absurd and shows a lack of understanding of the process.
I have struggled with back and neck problems for decades and finally had lumbar and cervical surgery; and while I am much better, I still have good days and bad days. And what’s the main issue is that employers look at you and don’t see you have limitations. While there were instructions on my lifting/sitting limitations, it wasn’t unusual to be requested to move around heavy items or be expected to sit at the phones for hours. I was forced to take early retirement but can’t get disability. I can tell you that if I feel good today and choose to pick up a 30 Lb file box; tomorrow I won’t be able to walk without PR for a few weeks.
I had C4 issues I had radiating pain down my right arm. First symptom was numbness last 2 fingers of my rt hand after 3 weeks the pain was neck down the back of my arm another week and I could not lift my head from my chest I was shaking all over from the high level of pain. I had told my husband driving me to the ER if they dont do an MRI this time tell them I want another neurologist they said they would not give me any Demerol and that I had to quit shaking... the tremors were NOT voluntary...idiots head down on chest? Unable to lift it? This was Savannah hospital. The neurologist told them to send me home. I think EVERYONE thought I was drug seeking...psychologist,professor and college administrator ...how many are addicts? I realized they thought I was drug seeking and I said I could go outside this hospital and buy street drugs in ten minutes and you know it. Savannah?
My husband was an RN in a hospital an hour and a half away but no decent neurologist there. The one in Savannah turned out to be terrible too. When I demanded a different neurologist ....I entered the ER this way and I was found to have a herniated C4 disc. I had a piece of bone from hip inserted in C4 . I. still have issues and pain 20+years after surgery. The muscles top of my shoulder atrophied before surgery and have never gone back to normal the area is much less muscled than my left side.
Post surgery I had many years of problems and still do but I could not go on in screaming pain like I was in at the hospital.
I live in terror now that I am 76 and living abroad that another disc will blow.I would not trust any surgeon here.....
I would never be able to fake all this....just not possible.
Do you think that 90% of mri for back pain show abnormal because you have to get x rays first, then be approved by your doctor and the insurance provider before you can get one?

My Hoffmans sign was noticed by my PT after a car crash. My doctor was already referring me to Neurosurgery for a lumbar herniation and DDD that was found by an MRI my Chiropractor orders post crash. Nuero confirmed Hoffmans, did more MRI's of lumbar and Cervical and found the DDD had progressed with herniations in cervical and lumbar. Mri found spinal cord compression in two spots between c4-c6, with herniation. Lumbar had herniated disk at L4/L5, with spinal stenosis in that spot. As well as deterioration in disks above and below l4/l5. Stenosis/herniation at l4/l5 randomly causes dislocation/displacement of sciatic nerve root sometimes randomly when I'm getting off toilet, bending over to pick up cat, or bending over to reach into the fridge. Kept putting me in the ER. Started SSDI claim while I waited to have an ACDF cervical fusion and a laminectomy in lumbar, no lumbar fusion until I can lose enough weight as I am overweight enough for it to be a problem at the age of 33. Had surgeries Nov 30th '23, now cerival is much better with far less numbness in fingers, but random shoulder pain. The lumbar however is another story, now the sciatic nerve continues to have issues, thankfully no ER visits since, but still shooting pains in feet, legs, and numbness in toes and ankle or outside of legs when standing. The issues are now bilateral. life now requires daily pain meds, gabapentin, muscle relaxers, and cannabis for pain. Also, we haven't yet done an MRI of my thoracic, but the pain in the thoracic region has become constant, which is about to be addressed with another referral to physiatrist again. My surgery was thankfully done by some famous surgeon I happen to live in the same town as, I was referred to him by another surgeon. I just had my medical evaluation from a state picked doctor who seemed to think I'm a good candidate for SSDI, and I hope she's right. Finding work with this going on seems impossible.
2 years into my fusion I still have pain in my back. Both my legs burn when I walk. Cervical fusion and still have numbness in my right hand and weakness. Had to put my sofa on a lift of 2x4 ‘s can’t even put on Sox thank goodness we didn’t have snow in NYC too bad.
not sure how many/ percentage of folks WANT to be declared disabled...but I did NOT want to be disabled... and even at 75 with some tools aiding me, I can still do foot care for people confined to home. Conversely, was declared to NOT have problems by a "doctor" reported by other doctors to be deceptive...lying on a report to the insurance after an accident. Lots of problems in diagnosing pain etc. when folks are taking Medications and they seem to WANT to be disabled. You GO on with truthful exams!

I have chronic compression deformities of the T-12, 11-1 and 11-2 vertebrae due to trauma from a car wreck. I see a Spine doc tomorrow, and I'm hopeful that they can offer treatment that will better my quality of life and mobility. Due to my back and right foot (reconstructive ankle surgery with it's own issues) I have to rely on a rollator bc I'm unable to stand or walk long/far as my ankle swells up the size of a softball and has caused me some falls by giving out on me, and my lower spine feels like it's crushing and it causes me to bend forward and have to lay down. Add to that RA and autoimmune issues as well as mental such as BPD, treatment resistant depression and severe anxiety (I isolate) and my ability to work is gone. Ive been on SSI for 25 years and had tried to work a few times waitressing (prior to the back injury) or retail and didnt even last 2 weeks. And several of those days I had to call in bc I could barely move. I'm currently applying for DAC, and was wondering if their process is like a CDR?

10/10 pain is equivalent to having gasoline poured on you and being set on fire. I've actually treated patients who that has happened to, and believe me, none of them could have calmly eaten Popeye's chicken, or anything else. The pain scale was designed with the express intent to get people hooked on Oxycontin, and I refuse to use it.
How do you account for pain differences, increased /decreased pain tolerances in neuro-diverse people i.e. ADHD, Autism, Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome etc.? Many ND people react very differently to pain and pleasure. I have seen many Dr.'s not believe or understand this difference & dismiss a patients complaints.
Hello DR. Foster, I was hit by a car in 1990 and as a result now, I have a crooked spine where I feel continuous dull pain up and down my back. I have a herniated disk, two disks are fused together and two disks are bulging. My hips are crooked (the left one leans forward because my left leg is more than an inch shorter than my right leg, and pain spreads from my lower back and hips the longer I stand. I can stand/walk for around 30 minutes, which increases to a 7-8 on the pain scale, and then I need to lie down for a couple hours. When I press down on my head, my head starts hurting and is a little numb. When I had an MRI on my head, it showed a big blank space in the lower part of the front of my head. I have serious brain fog, which I take medicine for, and seizures which I take medicine for, but doesn't stop me from getting seizures. When I sit down, I am constantly moving around, because my lower back and hips are so uncomfortable and in pain. My body is probably at a 3 in pain throughout the day, but I can only walk and stand before I need to lay down. I would like to get your opinion on my physical if you can. Also when the doctors check the reflexes for my feet my feet don't jump like normal, they don't move at all. I did have surgery for a pinched sciatic nerve and I am still having pain shoot down my left leg occasionally.

I have Crohn's disease. I can walk, sit, bend, etc. Crohn's causes unbearable pain during flare ups. I have had several surgeries.to remove small bowel. I now have shortened bowel syndrome. In other words I eat I hurt I have to use the bathroom. So I can not eat for ten hours a day every day which is not possible repeatedly, or i can eat and be in the bathroom 1 to 5 times an hour for the remainder of the day. When Crohn's is iñ check I can be an exceptional employee but at any given moment a flare up comes up and I'm no longer dependable and may be out anywhere from days to months which is unfair to employer. Plus not many jobs can give you the time you need not to mention the number of times you need to be in the bathroom without warning. I loved my job and did not ask for this and having my promising life derailed at such a young age and then knowing life is going to be a constant financial struggle on top means you have very little to look forward to than just survival.
If a person is Obese and it causes constant pain on back legs and feet Has diabetes as well Would that be excepted for disability

I call BS on the “fact” you suppose the most patients couldn’t describe their pain as “radiating” unless prompted by a physician!! Illiterate or otherwise non-English speaking persons aside that is absurd. It’s only a matter of vocabulary of the patient and understanding of their body. I just wanna say when im feeling extreme pain... i definitely freak out if my daughters try to touch my back wven though im askingbthem to rub it..its twisted but its a reaction i have. Please have that open mind but its onky during an issue. Right now im in pain but different than when its extreme. Right now its a different extreme .

I never applied for disability benefits when I was younger, and now I am old enough for SS due to age.
However, I take issue with his claim that spinal problems cannot be on both sides. I have disc problems affecting L4-5 on the left, giving sciatic pain on the left buttock and thigh.
And I have degeneration of the disc and joints at L1-2, giving pain in the right upper and inner thigh.
When I was 50, I could have worked a desk job part time. By 60, I could not have even done that. I never applied because my husband earned enough to support us.
A lot of folk I'm certain go through piles and piles of diagnosis, imagery and pain meds for years only to come into one of these Social Security Exams and being reported as if they are ready to compete in the Olympics, is it a personal ethics issue or else I would have to question if they are being incentivized by whomever is funding them. JDave seems like a honest straight shooter and I appreciate that, others I have experienced I wouldn't trust them with a bucket of water if my knickers were on fire.
I have joint hypermobility and after doing really hard things on my life just come back to haunt me. Plus I have scoliosis, arthritis, Sjogren's syndrome, thyroid problems, and Raynaud's.
It is the back pain that wears me out or when my ribs subluxate and go out of joint.
I had been wearing back braces for a while but tried a couple different corsets. A person with a back problem will love a corset.❤

Ive had my spine fused at L4 and L5 with a connector to sacrum. I have also had a total right knee replacement. I have that numb tingly feeling in my arms, mainly the right, ever so often. Due to some restructuring at my job in a factory I am, at 61 having to do a job on the floor after 12 years in an office. I am not degrading the folks that work on the floor, they are the backbone of any company. I am just no longer able to do this kind of work. I am now in constant pain from the physical labor of the job. The pain radiates all down my right leg and into my foot. I am barely walking when my shift is finished. Would it be possible to attempt applying for disability?
Yes - it's easier to get approved if you are over 50, and even easier if you are over 60. The logic is, Social Security believes that if you have been working for 25 - 40 years, you won't stop working for a minor reason. If you can get a boss or supervisor to write a letter saying you can no longer perform many of your former duties, you can include that with your application and it will help.

Those that have worked in the medical/health care field will most likely use the word radiate. I do; I always have, and was not instructed by a Doctor. I'll have to disagree with that statement. The 10 level Pain scale is ridiculous. That I agree on.
The problem is, if a medical person says "radiate" I know what they mean. But if a non-medical person says it, I don't know what they mean - and you'd be surprised what I've heard when I've asked folks to explain what they mean by "radiate".
People who have RSD are in severe pain. They can’t even have bedsheets over there skin.
I have scoliosis. Congenital. It messes with breathing occasionally as it squeezes my right lung. One hip is higher than the other. I also have arthritis in both knees, diabetic neuropathy, etc, and I still work full time and over time occasionally. Disability isn't worth it.
It's worth it if you cannot work.

i feel better sitting bad posture with my back than sitting straight up and my l1-l3 has 75% compression fractures.
I have degenerative bone disease. And bone spurs and lumber disc issues. So I can say pain is a daily thing. The surgeon damaged the nerve root. So I'm not happy like sunshine every day.
I have spinal stenosis and have severe pain when standing. Both feet have a lot of pain, numbness and other sensations that hurt.
I shattered two vertebrae in my cervical spine and the SSA is entirely incompetent! According to their determination, there is not enough evidence to support determining I have a disability. The system is broken and it needs to be thrown out!

I went to work 4 days later and was brushed against my back and hollered out in pain and was sent home, I have a bilateral impingement on my l5-s1, three herniated C discs and facet disease in like 5 facet joints because of a MVA. After my multi level back fusion my hamstrings have seized up. It doesn’t matter what kind of stretching I do they retreat right back up. I was doing Pilates regularly before back surgery and had pretty good rom, I was a gymnast growing up so pretty flex. No way I have 10% of that range of motion now.

I disagree with this doctor in about 50% of what he said. He seems to be more interested in disproving a condition rather than being objective to each patient. Every person has different muscle mass and fitness, and different tolerance to pain.

If he worked or works for social security administration he is not a good person, I have had back surgery finally which should have been done years ago from a on the job injury in which the company didn't follow the rules and take me to the hospital instead took me to a chiropractor and paid cash, I filled a workers comp and still didn't get surgery workers comp to the companies side and was denied social security for 5 years lost everything but got lucky and found a job driving that I was able to do hurt my stomach from all the ibuprofen and aspirin I had been taking but at this I was lucky enough that I had insurance and got the back surgery but from working with out a surgery the The surgeon said needed to be done cause more damage I refilled and am still not healed and not released from my surgeon cause he said he doesn't want me working and still not healed with a lot of pain and social security administrations Disability determination services is sending me to a chiropractor the doctor the did my surgery was blown away and mad that the want me to see a chiropractor he doesn't want my back damaged anymore than it already is, to think these people get there pay checks from the money we pay taxes into they are not trying to help anyone discusting

This guy's videos are informative but I find it interesting that he actually believes that functioning adults do not know what "radiating" pain means without the help and "education" from a doctor. It's really sort of weird that he would say things like this. Does he think we're all that stupid or something? If I hit my elbow and the pain is traveling down my arm toward my wrist guess what? It's RADIATING. Not so hard for someone with a HS education.
It's great that you know what it means, but I've encountered many folks who describe their pain as radiating, but when I ask them to tell me more, it turns out it isn't the medical definition of radiating pain. In fact, people misusing or not fully understand medical jargon is a common problem, which is why I advise that if you are not a trained healthcare provider, describe your problems in layman's terms. This comment is a classic example of people not really understanding what my job entails.

I've got ADHD severe I've got a skin disease dermatitis skin disease around the head the shoulders the backside the knees the feet. Not to mention I can't read and write and at this moment in time I'm spending this text to you by talking to my phone . And I've also got DVT deep being turned bosses.. and I've been getting PIP for the last 10 years 5 years in between and I also have a problem with reading in writing which causes problems for me in my near future which it has done since the day I found out that I was ADHD severe which is causing a lot of stress in my life not be able to concentrate on subjects not be able to understand people work not to be able to communicate very well not to understand why things are not the way they should . I've also got C6C5 vertebrae compressed. In my lower neck from the top of my shoulders to the to the bottom my skull
