Cats and Seagull

- This Seagull has been coming round for almost 9 months and usually comes in the house taking the cats food from under his nose. in this video My cat ( the Black one ) is eating with Next doors Cat when the Seagull decides he wants some..the cats are wise enough not to argue and soon give in, lol
I know gulls are a nuisance, but they are absolutely hilarious.
i like how the gull tries to flank the cats, then when he realizes he cannot he alternates watching both of them, so he can snatch a piece while both cats aren't watching. Then the 1st seagull does a better job of defense from the 2nd seagull than the cat he 'replaced'
Never as much a nuisance as the take litters louts called humans..Gulls sound wonderful , keep the food off the floor so why a nuisance .Please don't say they crap ....we all do .lol As you say , full marks they are hilarious and very clever .
Gulls are flying pigs.
They are scavengers with a big personality, I love to watch them. Just imagine how much stench would be in the air without nature's flying Roomba's
How dare you?
This gull is defenetly a psychologist.. he analysed the cats
In the end times, the Lion will lay down with the lamb, and the cat will lay down with the seagull.
😆.....and there will be peace on earth.
Those are the softest cats ever!!! My cat would be shaking to eat that gull.
Pah! I saw your cat run from a butterfly.
Joke's on you when you turn around to see the gull with the cat's head already being swallowed haha

Did the brown seagull just eat an entire chicken wing bone??
It's a baby so quite possibly, the adults leave them ravenous at that age.
Yes, that is no problem as it is quickly dissolved by the gut.
@@jaykay7174 About a week ago I threw a KFC drumstick to a seagull thinking it would pick the meat off but instead it just swallowed the whole thing. The drumstick was probably like 20% the size of the seagulls entire body. I wonder if it can actually digest a giant bone like that.
Chadd Lokki it actually can, them seagulls can swallow an ENTIRE creature, they most likely have powerful stomach acids with strong stomach walls to contain that acid
wow that was a spoiler😆
No wonder the adult gull was so willing to press its luck with the cats- the gull chick's whinging would drive anyone to take risks just to shut it up!
Lol, the chicks sound like dinosaurs
He was asking can I join you but they didn't understand his lingo And as we all know a smart seagull has been brought up to understand never let good food go to waste ....Saved you cleaning up and a bit of land full :) Such reading of body language between them all .Cool dude gull :)Like -
i like that the gull attempts to eat the food more frequently as the time passes
Brave bird... My cats would've turned it into dessert.
This cats is lost all animal instincts.
No it hasn't.Lol its not stupid, that is a big Bird with a very handy beak , there are two cats that feed together and have learned to leave the seagulls well alone ;)
Paul Linnert Nah he is right, a cat could easily take a seagull . Cats can kill owls that protect themselves with claws and a beak much more damaging than a seagull. It would be child's play to a cat that still has to rely on it's instincts but it seems your cats don't have to hunt much . My cat would've mauled that seagull so fast i wouldn't even have the time to say " Oh shit" .
Τhings are simple. These cats are very well fed and do not care to fight for their food. No gull could get the food of a hungry cat.
And my response to that is : So what ? Humans lost their animal instincts well over a thousand years ago.
Na believe me, domestic cats chase all birds except seagulls.
The brown one is a different species it's a baby it's under 2 years old! These are usually very shy ~ each year there's getting less and less! It's a young Herring Gull ~ they rely heavily on fish ~ I would really like to know where you took these pictures at what coastline? Thank you for sharing!
The kindest cats in the world. Too polite lol.
Sneaky, brave, and courageous seagull. Sneakgull.
I would love to know what is going on in these creatures minds. How they perceive each other, in there world down there near the ground. The body language/ actions are very intriguing.
Seagulls are a pest over here but i love how they look. They are quite the character sometimes and show funny behavior.
Man that brown gull is really loud! Both are completely adorable and the cats were very nice to let them have the rest!
Haha the brown one is a baby and they make that noise ALL DAY constantly. Dunno how their parents cope lol
Hi julie, I took this video a few years ago when I lived in Conway, unfortunately both those cats have passed away, the Black one "Bobby" had a blood clot and the tabby went blind then had cancer :(
Paul Linnert
Oh no! I’m very sorry to hear that. It seemed like they were happy and content in the video, so I will just think of it like that! I’m truly sorry for your loss and I hope that you just remember the good times. Cats aren’t just animals...they are also family members.
Picani Georgello
I know! LoL 😂
Seagulls just don't care lol. They are like honey badgers of the sky.
Skuas are the honey badger of the birds ,they are very aggressive birds
I saw a murder of crows held at bay by one seagull defending its bag of chips. Formidable birb
god that's beautiful 🤣
Steven, what are you doing?? Oh hey Cliffy, you little bastard!!
Looks like your feeding cats chicken bones.very dangerous to be letting the cats eat that. The gull is doing the cats a favor by eating those chicken bones.
Love these seagulls and cats .... LOL
These domesticated cats are well aware of this, what look like a Lesser Black Backed Gull. The adult gull is caught between conflicting urges, to either attack its fledge for feeding near her, or to continue to feed on the food presented by humans. Also, you can hear other adult gulls making some hard core challenge calls, so this gull and fledge are under at least moderate fear and stress. These gulls predate all mammals alive today. Gull DNA is hundreds of millions of years old. Thank you for posting.
It's a herring gull (pink legs, light grey back, red patch on beak)
@@MrBoreray Yes herring Gull, thank you
More around 30-33 million years.
Yesterday my sister told me she saw a seagull vs crow fight gull attacked a crow and 3 other crows joined in says the seagull won
The Seagull looks big and strong, and the cats got scared.
Would guys believe me if I tell you I adopted all seagulls and pigeons in the Bay Area?
That grey gull swallowed that bone whole.
This is awesome I study seagulls I've been doing it for over 18 years! I have one of the hardest life's to live as a bird! I stay on the ocean at night or a very large bodies of water and if depending on the tides the winds the waves sometimes they have to fly all night long ~ they need High carbohydrates and if they don't get enough food by morning sometimes they can die here in South Carolina we lost over 2,000 in one night from starvation it was the time what people were saying don't feed the seagulls well they died! Since then I've been studying seagulls ~ they absolutely amazing I could write two books on the seagulls their language their sign language with their wings and their feet language ~
Deniece Donnafield those shit heads kill baby whales and seals by ripping their guts and after blinding them. Let them all die
When did people get told not to feed the gulls? Was it this year? I am writing a letter to my local council complaining of the same method
Deniece Donnafield vermin
@@bongobongo3661 hypocritical of you, a human, to say that.
@@themeticulousmaverick9053 we know you're vermin you dont need to tell us
(actually I got the idea from watching Spiderman. But obviously they have different super powers)
Gangsta seagull: Dude, like GTFO, I'm hungry
Cats: Uh... ok sir
Omg gulls eat cat food
They will try anything 😂
It seems strange that the cats give up to the seagull but i think the cats know that the seagull is very quick, smart and good fighter so the fight too risky.
Cats will let a seagull eat their food, but they'll f*** you up when you go to gently pet their head.
Awwww what an amazing video
Seagull is like ok I'm gonna walk to the kitty plate get a bite and cats are like no lol
Bolshy little gits 😂 never new seagulls were so confident
So lazy and patient cats... Shame on them, not fighters
I cant thumbs down this enough Gulls are nasty creatures
why cat so relaxed? not hungry?
the seagull is very smart and fast
Cats will generally go for prey that's smaller than themselves, this gull's their size, hence their lack of predatorial interest in it.
That, and it's large and potentially dangerous enough they're not going to try and fight it over food especially when they've already more or less eaten their fill.

@@albertsantiago2069 YAYYY mine toooooooo🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
@@albertsantiago2069 There are owls that kill and eat cats. Great horned owls, snowy owls, great grey owls and the eagle owls of Europe will shred a cat.
I have seen a cat attack a deer, it always depends on the individual
Those cats are weak! 😐
A very bold bird❤💪🤩🥰
The cats' owner should have shued the seagull away. Because if the seagull eats the cats' food. Not only the cats have
nonething left to eat. But The seagull will come back to your house next day and use your roof as a toilet.
The cats have plenty to eat and the seagull comes inside the house and actually shares the cats food and has been doing so for two years :)
Paul Linnert does the seagull come close to you like a cat would as long as the cats and seagulls are ok with this then everyone happy
Hi Mohammed, Yes the Seagull would actually land on my patio table when i was in the garden and take food from my hand... it took me a while to gain its confidence but when it learned to trust me he got rather cheeky lol... i could go down to the harbour where the Seagulls are used to people being around and simply hold food with my outstretched arm and they would hover and take food from me, its the same with Pigeons, if i parked my car on the prom with the window down they would land in the window opening of my car and let me feed them..ps, sorry for the delay in replying :)
@@paullinnert9834 wow fair play need to try it one day
It just taks Patience Mohammed, ;)

YEAH LET'S HAVE A PAR-
Eh sorry ill just wait
😂😂😂
Who was that wretched screecher near the end? Is that another type of gull or a totally different species? Your poor cats were just plain disgusted with the wildlife.
😂
A cat being outsmarted by an avian dinosaur. Thank goodness velociraptors are not around any longer, they would have outsmarted some sabre tooth cats for sure.
I still don't understand why seagulls have duck feet!!
The cats don't even bother chasing them , they know they wil get more food from the humans they own, why waste energy?
the baby seagulls whistling scared the cat
yeah we'll finish up here Buddy , lol
Seagull = Donald Trump
Cats = Jeb bush and Hillary Clinton
Lmao . Nice one . ;)
Cat: here you go.
Seagul: thanks cat
The cats owner really spoiled them. They wont fight for their food because they know there's more coming later. That's ridiculous.
you can't stop an assassin who intends to kill a target at all costs; nor can you stop a gull who intends to eat your food. There is an outdoor restaurant on City island, in the Bronx, NY, that had to resort to running ropes 12' above the dining area and 24" apart so the gulls won't steal people's food. The gulls's wingspan and length will not let them get past the ropes
@@asher6657 so, you can stop them
Bad cat.
I would just scare the seagulls away XD
Nasty annoying creatures
