I think that most people who have seen this, have all been amazed by the crowd size, they had to fly helicopter over the crowd to help cool the people down ,we have missed your reactions.❤❤❤
Welcome back. This was just what the doctor ordered today, hehe. I laughed throughout.loved the costume is got it instantly lol my friend has a cat named magenta I'm gonna send him your into he'll love it and you. Glad to see you back and hope you're keeping well, you have been missed. ❤❤❤
Nice to have you back :) lovely reaction as always. and if you are impressed with the 1.6m well that was for many bands it was a monsters of rock concert. Rod Stewart in Copacabana beach in Brazil and Jean Michel jarre in Moscow both pulled >3.5m each LOL that was for the ages :) just a little titbit
Clint Eastwood movie...The Good The Bad The Ugly is played at intro of Metallica concerts,..is a 1966 Italian epic spaghetti Western film directed by Sergio Leone
The opening is Ennio Morricone's "Ecstasy of Gold", which is fitting since Metallica went in hard on anyone remotely affiliated with music downloading. I have to imagine playing in front of 1.6 million people probably gets your adrenaline going harder than normal. I'd be interested to see the time duration of this versus the studio version, or a live version at a smaller venue.
Sweetest Fairy, So good to see you ,I've missed you sooo much! Metallica follower from the start. This one is monumental..❤❤❤ And that look of yours is amazing so cool!
every time i watch one of your videos on things I like or know, I start off interested in the content but find myself in a trance with birdies flying around my head and falling totally in love with the quirks and personality of the presenter. lol too cute times 1.6 million %.
I worked front of stage for Metallica in 1990 ... it helps not minding being closely packed in large numbers of people and getting fairly beaten up just trying to stand still.
Loved your analysis on this. I know the song by heart, but the harmony makes more sense to me now - the chorus part and how they changed it through the song. Stay awesome Lolli!
Love The Ecstasy of Gold as their pre show music. You should check out the S&M concert Metallica did back in 1999. Their music plus the San Francsico Symphony Orchestra!
Hi Lolli, The Holy See in Latin Santa Sedes, in Italian Santa Sede. is the Central governing body of the Vatican City State, which is a Independent country. That's some Bloody crowd... Love the Eyes......... Keep up the Great work.
In the geart of Holy See In the home of Christianity The seat of power is in danger There's a foe of a thousand swords They've been abandoned by their lords Their fall from grace will pave their path To damnation ***Inhales*** Then the one hundred eighty nine...
This is the song The Warning (3 sisters from Mexico) was playing when you watch them as "teenie weenie banbeanies" (sp) before watching them at the MTV Music awards show.
This was shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall. To say the Russians were starved for Rock and Roll is a massive understatement.
Welcome back! Such a giant blowout beginning. I don’t understand the logistics of performing before 1.6 million. Frankly, the crowd noise interferes with my ability to hear. Your analysis is invaluable and profoundly appreciated.
When I think of metal vocals, it's James Hetfield's voice that starts up in my head. When I first got into metal in the mid-80s it was his voice more than the songs that made Metallica my favourite of the Big 4.
Lolli, you can see the Holy See from the Vatican. BTW, I truly enjoyed your reaction and enthusiastic dissection of Pavarotti's Nessum Dorma aria. I have watched the video numerous times since i first came upon it. Cheers!!!
Lolli! Absolutely wonderful to see you back, you look amazing! My request is fairly broad but somewhat basic, we need more Maynard James Keenen on your channel!! LOL Tool, A Perfect Circle or Puscifer, he's the singer in all of them! In Puscifer he also duo's with Carina Round in most everything, they sound amazing, made to sing together!! All 3 bands have absolutely amazing music, all so unique it's amazing! A couple of suggestions might be: Tool- Pushit, Salival Live version (it's audio only, but high level). A Perfect Circle- Either Orestes or When the Levee Breaks (Zeppelin cover) Live at Red Rocks. Puscifer- Puscifer - "Momma Sed" (Official Video - "V is for Versatile"). It's an 'in studio' video so you get a good look at them singing!! Thanks Lolli!!
You'd be suprised how many people just like you with the same sensibilities find a home in this environment. It's like you become less of self and more of us/we.
The song is actually about SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/Cot Death). So yeah, it's pretty dark. Metallica have never been afraid to broach difficult subjects. Fade to Black (suic!de). drug use (Master of Puppets), mis-use of the death penalty (Ride the LIghtening). They just happen to have a very good way of putting it across. Their gigs are superb. I've been fortunate enough to go to a couple with my son. It's not unusual to see three generations of the same family at one of their gigs. That's how far their appeal spreads, and how long they've been doing this.
Great reaction as always. I think some of the growley harmony vocals come from Jason the bass player who doesn't appear much on camera. He did record a solo by the way entitled Heavy Metal Music. It's really good.
"Hello gorgeous" Right back at ya! So when is your album dropping? 11/11?! Been checking your Lolliwren page for updates. Great to see you checking out all different musical groups and genres. Metallica is so iconic.
Loved this. Metallica and Ozzy were my first concerts. You are great as always! Since you mentioned doing some Acapella, I would love to see your take on some of the Pentatonix Sing off competition...would love to hear your take on how they evolved from live competition to the other things you have done like Daft Punk.
Great Magenta. My lines for Halloween might be "Ahhhh! I grow veary of this world! When shall we return to Transylvania, huh?" "And our world...will do the Time Warp...again!" (last line of dialogue in the movie)
If I can give you some historical context: this was 1991 in Moscow. The Berlin wall came down, the USSR broke apart and the Cold War ended seemingly overnight. While the US and Russia/USSR were never officially enemies, there was still a huge amount of distrust of each other. Which is fair, you don't immediately just get the warm and fuzzies towards a nation that had so many nuclear weapons ready to launch at you that they could literally end all life on earth with the fallout. So after hearing about how evil the Amerikatze capitalists were, suddenly they had one of the biggest bands in the US right on stage. This was not as much an extension of the hand of friendship from both sides, but instead locking the devil horns and uniting in metal. Best bit for me by far is seeing the soldiers of what was previously the most powerful dictatorship on earth just getting their freak on. So while this performance is pretty epic and intense, when adding in that context, this becomes one of the most important musical performances in history.
Welcome back Lolli, you have heard the Enter Sandman riff before through the video with the tiny sisters from The Warning when they were very young. I like the Metallica original, but the recent The Warning version is (in my opinion) better.
Metallica, Enter Sandman, 1.6 million people - all are great. But the real highlight of the video are those EYES, omg. The prettiest witch out there. Happy Halloween 👻
That is how you return from a long silence. Amazing video. And I hope you to analyze Stargazer from Rainbow someday. I wish happiness to you in your life :)
19:13 That inspired Weird al Yanckovic to parody Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit ( Smells like Nirvana) And Lolly, you look stunning, girl, you can wear a trashcanbag and look stylish, you get away with everything my good lady, thanks for your lovely awesome channel and fun reactions and in depth tiny rabbitholes you push us in to, haha!!! Greetings from The Netherlands !!
Was dressing as Magenta a partially subliminal choice? I wonder this because she, of all the RHPS cast, is the best suited to creating reaction content. . "In another dimension, with voyeuristic intention, well secluded, I see all."
We knew that was for the books. History of pre-sanatorium Russia. It was free, so... Not so more fans ;) Lolli as Always makes it even better then the memories
an old friend and passionate concert goer once told me: "Adult Diapers are a fans best friend if you dont want too lose your spot in the growd" but i guess some people might just not care and let it run freely. 😅
It needs to be mentioned that Metallica weren’t the headline act here it was AC/DC. And one for you to react to, John Martyn, Solid Air (live Germany 1978) I think you would find it very interesting.
You've been missed, and what a great video to come back with. Have an amazing day!
Oew yeah
What Jason Newstead does with backing vocals/harmony's/layering are often massively underrated
It is sadly missed in todays Metallica
Amen
I think that most people who have seen this, have all been amazed by the crowd size, they had to fly helicopter over the crowd to help cool the people down ,we have missed your reactions.❤❤❤
Welcome back. This was just what the doctor ordered today, hehe. I laughed throughout.loved the costume is got it instantly lol my friend has a cat named magenta I'm gonna send him your into he'll love it and you. Glad to see you back and hope you're keeping well, you have been missed. ❤❤❤

Obviously your technical explanations are spot on and easy to understand, but I absolutely love the personality you include in your videos. :)
Clint Eastwood movie...The Good The Bad The Ugly is played at intro of Metallica concerts,..is a 1966 Italian epic spaghetti Western film directed by Sergio Leone

Finally ! Welcome back Lolli !
Your enthusiasm for music is so endearing and infectious
Great to see Jason's backing vocals get a mention.
The video ended so abruptly because they went straight into "Creeping Death", which is another must watch! Best metal Passover song ever done LOL.
That was a backing track overlayed in the song. As I recall it's part of the Lord's prayer added as part of the song
Not the Lord's Prayer, an old child's prayer called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.
Sweetest Fairy, So good to see you ,I've missed you sooo much! Metallica follower from the start. This one is monumental..❤❤❤ And that look of yours is amazing so cool!
Missed you and your humerous ways Lolli!! Gotta admit I love the look! 😄🔥🖤
Wow you look amazing!
Remember the first song that you listened to performed by The Warning? This is it.
Jason's bullfrog vocals in this are great.
every time i watch one of your videos on things I like or know, I start off interested in the content but find myself in a trance with birdies flying around my head and falling totally in love with the quirks and personality of the presenter. lol too cute times 1.6 million %.
Glad to have your analyses back, thanks for breaking down all these distortiony vowels for us. Looking forward to the album release!
Lolli, you rock! ❤ Peace 🤘
I worked front of stage for Metallica in 1990 ... it helps not minding being closely packed in large numbers of people and getting fairly beaten up just trying to stand still.
Your editing is once more, in a class of its own. And you have your own flavour of cool. Slightly more cerebral than Metallica’s, if I may say so.
Lol, I go "Tim Minchin!" and she slaps that photo there :D Welcome back Lolli!
Love the make up!
I'm so happy you are analyzing my favorite band :)
You did listen to a cover of this by The Warning, when they were 9, 12 and 14 years old.
Then compare it to any current song from them.
Looking fab
Hello.Great song.Can't wait.Hugs for everyone🤗
Welcome back Lolli, i really love you!
5:59 Lolli looks like a young Ozzy Osbourne from the blizzard of oz. I say that as a compliment. You are awesome and great break down as always
Can't wait to listen to your new Album Lolli. xx
Thank you Lolli, what a joy! Today’s Oracle card was spookily (!) apt! Thank you again🙂 love from Annie, in Cornwall💞🌸
Glad to see you back, great costume! I also missed your sense of humor, reaction and great editing of your video.
you need to watch fade to black from the same concert next, its even better
Absolutely!!! Happy Halloween 🎃
You look amazing !!!!!
Missed you Lolli…great reaction as always. Love Sharon & Howard from the USA.
Your face was absolutely horrifying and I loved this! Found you a couple of weeks ago and Im glad. Lots of love

I don't know you except for through this channel, yet I missed you. Humans are wild. Thank you, Lolli!
Epic ending Lolli! And your Rocky look is fab! Happy Halloween to you and everyone! 👻
I'm introverted af and I absolutle love big metal concerts ! You'd have a blast, I'm sure.
This was shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall. To say the Russians were starved for Rock and Roll is a massive understatement.
So georgus and magical Fairy G..❤
Happy Hallowen Lolli!!🎃💜
Magenta video
WOW. Excellent Magenta!! 😳
Welcome back! Such a giant blowout beginning. I don’t understand the logistics of performing before 1.6 million. Frankly, the crowd noise interferes with my ability to hear. Your analysis is invaluable and profoundly appreciated.
As a long time Rocky Horror fan, I'm delighted with your costume.

"WE'RE FREE!"
-Every Russian at this concert and Pantera which you also need to see
PANTERAS set from this show is what ya wanna checkout😉
Life is good. The Queen has returned.
The Tim Minchin reference was perfect
Absolutely great show.
Rock Gods.. outstanding costume work FVM!!
Lolli, you can see the Holy See from the Vatican.
BTW, I truly enjoyed your reaction and enthusiastic dissection of Pavarotti's Nessum Dorma aria. I have watched the video numerous times since i first came upon it. Cheers!!!

You've heard this song thanks to The Warning😁⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘
I love Magenta Lolli!
Great reaction
You'd be suprised how many people just like you with the same sensibilities find a home in this environment. It's like you become less of self and more of us/we.
You are so gorgeous, love the look Lolli. Metallica is brilliant. Fantastic analysis as usual. xx
The song is actually about SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/Cot Death). So yeah, it's pretty dark. Metallica have never been afraid to broach difficult subjects. YAY YOU'RE BACK!!!
PLEASE do a reaction for heavy is the crown from Linkin Park, it's soo good and Emily absolutely kills it!
Fairy Voice Mother going down the Matallica Rabbithole is the content we all need!
You are a musical genius.
why am I so attracted to your look?? Nice great reaction.
I think you'd love Creeping Death from this same show and see both James and Jason vocal skills
Loved this. Metallica and Ozzy were my first concerts. You are great as always! Since you mentioned doing some Acapella, I would love to see your take on some of the Pentatonix Sing off competition...would love to hear your take on how they evolved from live competition to the other things you have done like Daft Punk.
This was fun, now off to watch your more fairy voice mother version of this with the Warning and Daphne.(again)
You could also pull off Siobhan Fahey from Shakespear’s Sister “Stay” with that look!
Good lord those eyes!!! Looking lovely ❤
The video ends suddenly because they start into the next song right after that.
To get an idea of James Hetfield saying his "ooh" and "ahh", check out comedian Jim Breuer.
Excellent breakdown of the rhythm. I would love to hear you breakdown the rhythms of Fade to Black, Nothing Else Matters and the Unforgiven also.
Great Magenta. My lines for Halloween might be
"Ahhhh! I grow veary of this world! When shall we return to Transylvania, huh?"
"And our world...will do the Time Warp...again!" (last line of dialogue in the movie)
Can we take a minute to recognize the awesomeness of Jason fuckin Newstead?
Rad bass and fantastic backing vocals!
If I can give you some historical context: this was 1991 in Moscow.

great look!
been there seen them 15 times, you have been stuck under ground if not ever heard this song
Lolli I also take note that Tracy W. Has joined the discord soo cool I really like her..❤
you heard this rif in "greatest show on earth" by nightwish where they tracked the evolution of music from medieval to modern
Welcome back Lolli, you have heard the Enter Sandman riff before through the video with the tiny sisters from The Warning when they were very young. I like the Metallica original, but the recent The Warning version is (in my opinion) better.
The kids voice is a backing track from the studio recording
Metallica, Enter Sandman, 1.6 million people - all are great. But the real highlight of the video are those EYES, omg. The prettiest witch out there. Happy Halloween 👻
your Halloween costume is, uh...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

So one thing about being in a crowd like that, you kinda have to embrace being apart of a much larger being
