Dr Sanders being Krux was a better plot twist than Bleck being the traitor.

Chen is worse, he cheated on all the competitors, not only the ninja, he literally thinks cheating is good, that is why the reason Garmadon got lordship from him, because he cheated, and he lied about Wu's letter, so Lloyd's existence is a lie and Chen cheated love. But without him, we won't get our green ninja, so thank him.
If I’m gonna be honest, predictable plots aren’t a great thing, but they aren’t a terrible thing either. It’s mostly in the middle for me. On the one hand, this has some really good story elements, but on the other, it just makes impatient to see the big reveal to figure out, you’re smarter than you look.
It's not a matter of expected or unexpected, it's just weird in a disturbing part that after everything the ninjas have been through they won't notice it, it's not believable and ruins everything

Side question, when Rox was in Jordana’s body, she preformed shatterspin while killing the Arc Dragons.

Not exactly, Rox didn't use the gong because she doesn't need it, and the mallet shatters your soul, technically Rox's soul is in Jordana's body, so Jordana's soul is not present. For example Lloyd used wind while being possessed by Morro, but he doesn't have the element.

I must agree. This is like a bad version of Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated.
This plot was terrible because it goes against ninjagos core. The whole message is 'oh being traditional is bad, new things always good' when being a ninja is litterally *built* on tradition.
Question: Are these writers aware that most of their audience are either late teenagers or people in their early twenties because I can guarantee you most of the people who watch the show and still follow it to this day are people who grew up with the show.

I feel like it would have been better if Jordana (Rox) was manipulating the tournament behind the scenes since it would give her something to do during the tournament since nothing would really change when it comes down to it and I feel like Nokt and Rox just needed more charisma in the reveal to make it better since Dabi's reveal thought us with enough charisma the reveal can work regardless how obvious it is
I personally had no problem with the twists cause there were a lot of things going on like the tournament itself, which had me distracted from solving the mystery. And funny enough, maybe I didn't expect Blent to be rigging the tournament because it'd be too obvious 🤣 I didn't expect it because I had already expected that.

3:05 What doesn’t help is Bleckt is so unlikeable. One of the worst new characters introduced in this show.
Personally, I enjoyed the reveal of Nokt and Rox killing the dragons instead of Ras. Helps build them up a bit more.
I don’t even think the ninja knew Nokt was gonna betray Ras, which was why they suspected him and his team as a whole, instead of each of them individually.
Then again, Lloyd literally had a vision where Ras placed the control device on Nokt, but he probably just brushed that one off.

Question, what motivation would Roby have to be evil? What would he gain from rigging the games against the ninja? In my opinion, the twist in the show was fine. Blekt had a motivation to overthrow Roby. Because he hated the way he was running the games. He wanted to be the grand master of the tournaments.
While the twist was kinda obvious, it made sense.

They did do a good job trying keeping it a mystery compared to Skylor being the Spy in S4 so that’s one thing they have over S4
Honestly, you’re being modest in this video that is the worst plot twist in all of animation. I was more surprised when that guy. Hans turned evil and frozen is the literal worst plot twist of all time.
Honestly, I like the plot twist of Nokt and Rox being the Arc Dragon killers more than the plot twist of Bleckt being a villain. However, I was kind of worried that Bleckt was going to be like Hutchins from "Sons of Garmadon", but I'm glad that didn't happen. Also, why the heck do you hate Roby so much, Tanner?

I honestly liked that plot twist.
You're forgetting that in the post-merge world there are many villains out there, not just Lord Ras. So from the Ninja's perspective it literally could've been anyone.
To be fair the ninjas prespective and the audience prespective's should be both equal because they are the main characters and if the audience figured it out easily then so should the ninjas after all the NINJA are supposed to know much more than the audience and surprise us instead of acting dumb and not considering all possibilities
Hear me out, what if Robi was ACTUALLY an evil mastermind and also lord ras master, but he didnt show it yet, as he is planning something much bigger than this
Bleck being the traitor, yeah, that was definitely predictable since episode 12. But I legitimately thought that lord Ras was the one responsible for the horns, so I was surprised when it was revealed to be the forbidden five. I was not surprised that they betrayed Ras, but I was surprised at Ras had nothing to do with killing the arch dragons.

Imo the nokt and rox attacking the arc dragon was a very good plot twist because it was hinted several times that it was lord Ras master who attacked them because the motion dragon said that it was a mysterious villan and besides until ep 19 I literally thought nokt was just a guy who would've fought in the tournament and then would betray Ras but I didn't think he was the one who killed them
It was bad, but I'd say the worst plot twist was the overlord commanding the devourer

It was the obvious team, but what made me invested was the mystery of why? Like
-Were they making a new dragon cup to steal elemental powers?
-Were they using them as elemental steroids?
-Weapons against elemental masters like Hope's sword from S9?
I agree that they weren't very shocking. But I was caught off guard when Ras wasn't actually part of the dragon horn scheme. Maybe I'm just simple, but I felt my expectations subverted.
I just rationalized the Blekt stuff as a distraction from the better twist/reveal.

The worst plot twist in ninjago is the entirety of day of the departed
Tanner ninjago D.R did explain the reasoning for using the horns and it’s because the horns have to be placed on the ceiling of the temple city and the person who gains all the elemental powers have to shoot the powers into the crown to activate the nether space portal to free anyone who was trapped their like the 4 other forbidden five members and Kai and Bonzle.
I honestly think the mystery plot did work because I had no idea that Rox or nokt killed the matriarch I thought it was ras that did it

I think the reason why they choose Blekt over Roby was because Roby might be a little too obvious and also since he organizes all the games in the tournaments, and take all the loser’s elemental powers, the ninjas might have thought that it was Roby that was guy that send the bots to kill Lloyd with poison. Also, another thing is that Bleckt kinda just stood there to the side and being a grumpy old man (as Tanner said), and he looked so unsuspicious, which is why the ninja didn’t say him. Idk, this is just my opinion 😬
For the first plot twist, I think what made it worse was Arin’s whole story arc

A good twist I would appreciate is Ras playing fair and helping the Ninja defend Zant-Tanz from being exiled from the tournament. It's the little things that count.
Well if you think about it the ninja could have just not been invited. I mean not every elemental master was shown. Just a lot of new ones and a few old ones but there are some elements like metal, speed, etc that weren’t there. So they could have just not been invited. So I can still see that it was a little obvious. Plus the whole arch dragon deaths was a little harder for the ninja because they didn’t know about Rox being free. So they couldn’t have known about Nokt and her being the killers. You have to put yourself in their shoes. Sora was trying to figure out that stuff with Jordana but she didn’t know. Nya or Arin I can’t remember which one even said it in the finally episode that they were surprised with jordana called nokt brother. So they had to assume it could be Ras or someone not working with him. The ninja can’t assume Nokt is working on his own if they believe Ras is controlling him. They can’t ask “does Ras know?” If they think he is the mastermind. I think you have valid points for not liking it to be so predictable but we can’t put ourselves in the same mindset as the characters since we know more then them and we have seen more than them. Because the ninja didn’t see rox enter jordana so they would have never been able to come to that conclusion. And yes you could say well now that Nokt is free he probably started killing them but they aren’t thinking Nokt and Ras are on different teams. And they don’t have a reason why they would go after them so they can’t say “we know for sure it was them or him”. As a writer myself I understand why they did things which it was predictable for us but to the characters it wasn’t that simple because they didn’t have all the information. That’s why in the end they got all the information and realized that Nokt was using Ras to get what he wanted. And that Ras wasn’t in control the whole time
