@@vanjitsu132 if your on the wrong meter setting, you will find out. Lol. I just tell people to stay away from that because I'm not there and can't see if that meter is on the right setting.
Any idea why the high speed wire receptor on the board would literally burn through the board? Happened once, I replaced the spa pack, a year later same thing again. Never tripped the breaker or blew a fuse. Low speed still works. Balboa VS501.
@@ruffedhunt4267 I have an idea. Need to see a picture of where it burnt, the circuit board, the volts of the pump and the Switch bank. If you can, send to info@vippools.ca
@@VIPPoolsandSpas thanks for checking in. I am currently waiting for a new board to be delivered I will be happy to give you an update when I get it installed. Fingers crossed 🤞
Hi the pump in question was giving HTR errors is is Hi I have the pf-20-2n22x pump one of the capacitors has a huge hole burnt into it. Is this normal? I can't find out what it's rating is. The other capacitor is a 45uf and seems fine any advice please?
@@VIPPoolsandSpas but I am still getting 240v across the two lines from the power coming in and the heater element. Mine is interesting case. It’s a Balboa GS100 from Europe and I brought it to the US from Spain. I think I need a new motor also since it’s EU Spec.
I have a Balboa BP7 spa control system with TP500 control. It is designed for a 2 speed pump at 240v. My pump is 120v. Do you know which jumpers I need to move to operate at 120v 2speed pump. Thanks
@@VIPPoolsandSpas I got it replaced and it’s working great. However, my panel jet is not working the jet only works on the light switch. 🤦🏻♂️ Any advice what could be the problem?

Thank you this was helpful, I will also be taking the board out tomorrow to check the back for anything burned up.
might be a relay. Check all fuses also anyway. not just the one I said to test.
@@VIPPoolsandSpas ok I’ll reply here tomorrow with an update, thanks for the help

is it pump 1 or pump 2 ? Pump 1 is on the ciruit board and 2 is on the expander board.
let me know if ALL the WHITE wires are in group 2 (left side)
If pump 1 is 120V, is it plugged into J9 ? If it is, MOVE J72 to (group 4). Any spot, J45, J54, J77, J78, J70
Pump 1 or J9. Currently J46 connected to J72. I am moving J72 to group 4 (J45).
All the white wires are going to Group 2
Can I replace the old 120v pump to a 220v?
Btw the spa was converted from 115v to 220v
What spa pack do you have? Also, check behind the door of the spa pack to see if there's a chart for everything
