I completely agree, at times you need to step away from videoing and photographic and enjoy the moment. I find your video to be very enjoyable and pleasant to watch, the video footage, the images, the soundtrack, your commentary about nature and wildlife. And, you effort to frame and capture great B-roll is impressive. I understand the effort involved, find the composition, taking the time to set up and record. Well done. I still have quite a few of your post to catch up. Thanks so much for sharing.
Wow, thanks for such an amazing comment Glen. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much for watching, and thank you for sharing that. I really appreciate you watching and supporting my channel!
I love the the arial footage. What a way to see the Badlands. Thanks so much for that. The sheep are amazing, I really hope the rangers can get a handle on the health issue and allow the animals to live out a full and happy life. I do wonder if they talk amongst themselves and compare radio collars. Thank you so much.
I absolutely love Badlands. We were there last October and I was happy to see some of the sheep, although the rams with the big horns were down below and far away. It was still great to see them.
It is so beautiful Josh! I love the explanation of the collars . These videos teach me something new. Thank you for taking us with you on your adventures. ❤❤❤
Another video of stunning landscapes and such beautiful photography . The colors are just awe inspiring and you always help us feel like we are right there with you . Well done as ALWAYS !
Lovely video. It's nice to see some content featuring the Badlands on UA-cam too! The Badlands might be the most underrated place. It's tucked in a state that the general public doesn't think too much about. Luckily I live at the western edge of Wisconsin so it's a "quick" and easy 8 hour drive along I90. I'm thinking about taking a 4 or 5 day photography trip at the end of April. With the warm weather we've been having, the prairies could be a green by then.
Thank you! It really is! It's so special, and it's really slept on. And man, 8 hours sounds really nice! So your around the La Crosse area? Good luck on your trip! That will be such a good time to go!
@@FoxandFir La Crosse is known for having a ton of eagles , but I’ve heard it’s been hard photographing them this year with all the open water. I don’t photograph eagles or wildlife much but would love to photograph bison and other land mammals. Where are you located?
It really was! I have a bunch more videos about the trip, and the weather gets even crazier haha. And YES! I didnt know they were talking about moving it, I hope they dont. It's one of my all time favorite camp spots.
Awesome video, as always! I love seeing that you have hundreds of new subscribers every time I click on a new video of yours. I'd be happy to celebrate your 100K subs by cooking some real campfire gourmet grub when it inevitably happens. 🔥🔥
@@FoxandFir oh man that’s so sick! I didn’t know that. I saw in one of your shorts you said you drove from Wisconsin to the bad lands. I’m from Racine Wisconsin.
Thanks for the comment! I am fully aware, and a FAA certified UAG Pilot. All of the drone footage was recorded in Buffalo Gap National Grassland, safely outside of the national park.

@@FoxandFir you are correct! I’m from the La Crosse area. We don’t have bison but there the landscape is beautiful over here.
I tried to photograph some Eagles in La Crosse on the way back, but it was too warm and they were all gone haha

Crazy weather! Is the dispersed camping still by the radio towers? There was talk of moving that elsewhere.

Nice job! I need to get there with my camera! What focal length were you using to get your tighter shots? Thanks for taking me along!
Thank you! I was moving between 400mm, 560mm and 800mm. And some of the footage is cropped a little.

Bro, I am HOLDING YOU TO THAT! lol. Maybe we will do a big creator meet up! I have a friend in the camping creator community also!
Did you film in 6k raw on the R3 ? I like the image better on the R3 than the r5
I did, I shot in 6K60RAWLITE, and really? thats really interesting, I think I prefer the images from the R5, but prefer the video from the R3.
Is there a website to track the sheep's in badlands?
Honestly, I am not sure. I never really looked it up!
@@FoxandFir oh, how do you find them?
A lot of searching and experience.
@@FoxandFir thank you

Sure am!

I grew up in Kenosha, and then moved to Racine about 10 years ago.@@Brodmoor
I liked the video, great work but be aware that drone are not allowed in any NP, it's a federal law.
