It's just the fact that there are so many music artist these days like her out there that sometimes it can be hard for music labels to choose a person, whether male or female. You just have to get really lucky to have a chance to get a song on the radio. These days you can't just put a video on UA-cam and expect to be a star. You gotta get on TV shows, get friends who are producers, ect. It's pretty ignorant to say that record labels only choose guys cause in honestly if Iggy, Ariana grande, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Nikki, Jhene, SZA, Rhianna, H.E.R, Taylor, Halsey, Camila, and more I can't name if the top of my head isn't enough for you, try researching others female artist before you were even born, and tell me if it's still a feminist thing?
The sucky thing is that you generally need to already have major record label representation to get your song on the radio, at least when it comes to mainstream channels. I say that as a former on-air personality in the US. The station I was with received loads of songs from aspiring, unsigned artists, and they never played a single one.
