- Hello everyone! Last March I got the opportunity to attend my very first (furst?) furry convention! I had an absolute blast seeing all the suits, panels, artists, and performers throughout the weekend. I even got to ask a couple of furries in attendance about their fursona, the furry fandom, and what fursona they would give me based on vibes!

This is like one of the only videos I've seen that had non-furry interviewer that was super super polite and not jabbing at the fandom
I'm sorry that others have set the bar SO INCREDIBLYYY LOW ;w; I'm so interested to get to meet and talk to different communities and as a cosplayer I have learned many skills from furries! I can't wait to attend another furry con in the future :3

Your respect for us honestly brings me to tears, as I was beaten up extremely bad for being a furry. I still have the scars, it's a constant reminder that not everyone will be nice about it.. but you, being this decent to us, it is honestly amazing to see. Thank you, truly, thank you

WASN'T EXPECTING THE WARRIORS PANEL OH MY GOD I was watching casually, and when I heard "warrior cats panel" I was like WHAT???? Lol, but I'm glad you had fun at TFF!
It was SO much fun! The warriors panel was absolutely packed (which is why I’m sitting on the floor lol) but it was so nice to see so many in the fandom and share similar interests

@@SkylineStars Thank you so much! Definitely subscribing! I love how instead of just judging the community, you try to learn more about it, and seem to be somewhat unphased by the misinformation.
Multiple people (Who were furries) were bullied so much they... Well.. Not here anymore. Luckily, I didn't know any of them personally, but still sad. Some people celebrated it. Messed up.
Most people seem to think they identify as animals, have sex with animals, or it's just a fetish. Of course, there is a sexual side, a minority (A seemingly loud minority) that people assume is the whole community.
Anything humans touch seems to become sexual. Even the Star Wars fandom. IN my opinion, furries are not different, just a bit more weird lol.
Anyways, sorry for the rant, hope you have an amazing day/night!
You could go for a moth fursona. Moth fursonas are so top tier cute. And if you get a moth fursuit you can huddle around the LED suiters.

Omg- can I just say that I absolutely loved your fursona so much! I also have a fursona (a dog x moose) who is basically represents my love for forests and ofc the national parks, so seeing yours was so awesome!!

I get big moth fursona (with droopy anteni to match your hair) vibes, but that could just be the poofy jumper throwing me.

Also if you do try making a fursona (obvious tip is obvious): make a couple of design and try mashing you favourite elements together - moth with calico markings? Bunny with moth anti? Nothings off the table, just have fun with it!

15:28 I'll be honest i came straight to the part Pine talks cuz i saw a Mask and i was like: "maybe they are a Therian maybe a Quadrobist?! Or maybe a Mask Maker??" And yup I'll confirm they are a Therian if you look closely on their Bag there is the Theta Delta Symbol i was very shocked lol. I am a Furry and Therian myself!
I’d love to learn more about Therians, Quadrobists, and Mask Makers! Are there any good resources I could check out?

I could see you being a pine Marten or a moth + German Shepard hybrid. The floppy eared rabbit suggestions were also great. Loved the fact there was a warriors panel.

I honestly might start getting into more furry stuff, I have liked furry stuff since 8th grade (6years ago), mainly because I love the communities general creativity with artwork and the costumes and welcoming presence. I’m honestly awestruck by it I think that’s why I want to get into it.

Thank you! As for filming I try to be as nonintrusive as possible and as understanding as possible! We don’t film in panels (only at the beginning to showcase room), special events, or people that don’t want to be filmed. All in all it’s about respect; I’m not the most important person there and if someone asked us to stop filming we would! (Although that wasn’t a problem that we encountered)

On May 18th, all alterhumans (other hearted, therian, otherkin etc) will go public gearing! Wear paws, ears,
masks etc and do quadrobics! Draw a therianthrope or otherkin symbol on yourself and do vocals! If you
can't do quads or don't have the gear, just draw the symbol on yourself We can all go to schools, parks,
malls, etc. Hope you could all join it would be really fun! :D TIP: Don't have any gear? You can make tails out of yarn, make paper masks, or decorate a white face mask!
